Blue lock was good but Ao Ashi is objectively better,too bad there's no season 2 I'll have to check out the manga.

I thought I was getting tired of anime, something I previously thought impossible but after a sabbatical and two solid anime series and I realise it's not anime I was tired of it's shitty "anywhere belle face na front" anime that's the problem.

So he is basically been cast as a superhero and a supervillain in the same universe... doesn't bode well for the pop culture impact his Ironman character has, particularly after the events of Endgame.

I mean, they could literally had cast anybody and they would have been fine, particularly for a character that is primarily behind a mask.

Anyways MCU is even cooked either ways as i don't even think, they have anything serious planned for the foreseeable future that is worth any serious attention, the positive vibes they hoped would be the outcome from this announcement has turned into backlash.

The negative PR they were trying to avoid by discontinuing the Kang storyline, might be even worse with this dim witted move.

MCU has been finished long ago...

The only thing they have left is fanservice...

It started with the whole "Multiverse" thing as an excuse for fanservice...

But now, it's to bring back former actors for nostalgia lol...

No one is expecting any tangible writing from the MCU anymore...

I didn't want to watch this show because of the poor ratings, but after multiple recommendations, I decided to give it a try...

I was told the series didn't have the best writing but was very entertaining and they were absolutely right...
I binged the entire season in 2 nights...that shows how entertaining it was for me...

The show had a lot of plot convenience, some weird events that made no sense like the whole sequence that led to the lion being let loose at the end...

Security in the show too was conveniently lax to enable the plot for the main characters to easily pass through gates...

But one thing the show maintained was being entertaining all through. It was no Game of Thrones, it didn't have complex characters but the actors put in good performances ...

There is not much Historical accuracy too, and the show was often less realistic in how events played out...but despite it all, I was rarely taken out of the plot...

In fact the show has finally convinced me to start looking for other Roman Empire based series...

I am starting ROME tomorrow...
I almost watched ROME many years ago with my entire family but literally one of the first scenes had a very explicit sex scene and we turned it off out of embarrassment...

Since then I never touched it

I feel nothing but pity for comic fans...

How do they get stuck reading bullcràp like this?

I unzipped both in different location. Usually when you unzip say part 1 of a file using a computer, there is a prompt telling you to unzip part 2 for the concluding part. There was nothing of such, hence the question.

Anyhow jare, I will try and watch it tonight to see if the file is affected.

Update:

I just forgot that zip file is usually smaller than the actual the unzipped file, checked the size after unzipping, makes sense now.

Create a new folder and put both zip files there

Install 7Zipper or so.
It will automatically unzip both files

But tbh, i checked the reviews just now and most are stating the same thing, that the last 2 episodes are basically filler.

This brings back the discussion about modern TV and 8 episode seasons...

I am an advocate for these shorter seasons solely because I believe that with shorter seasons there will be less filler and more focus on the central plot...

But Hollywood seems to be starting a trend whereby 6 out of the first 8 episodes are basically mostly filler...
And then it ends with an epic finale...

The Boys season 4 did the same thing where they just padded the season with unnecessary character arcs that led nowhere and unnecessary side quests...
Then had the last 2 episodes move the plot forward...

HOTD seems to be following the same trend. Apart from Episode 1 and 4, the season feels padded with filler events...

What's the point of switching from 20 episode seasons to 8 episode seasons with 2 years break when you still pad those 8 episodes with filler?

Demon Slayer S4 did the same thing sef lol

From what I've heard, this seems to be an issue with the show only. I heard in the books, Rhaenyra and Daemon were more of side characters and thus sidelined during these events...
But in the show, Rhaenyra seems to be the main character and as such the show has kept her and Daemon in a repititive loop doing nothing for about 5 episodes now...

So don't blame the audience when the interesting characters from season 1 have been doing fûck all for 5 episodes now and their scenes are boring af...

How do peeps expect them to tell the struggles and the toll the war took on the people? The division in Rhaenyra's council, the unending brutal feud in the Riverlands, the politics in King's Landing? Daemon's inner demons and resentment for Rhaenyra for taking his precious throne?

There is no division in Rhaenyra's council. They only question her leadership...and rightfully so...
Has she done anything to prove herself this season?

They are just uninteresting. In a quest to make Team Black the "heroes" they have made them boring while Team Green has been the interesting team...

What has the Seasnake been doing all season aside repairing a boat for 6 episodes?

How many episodes do we really need of Daemon hallucinating in Harrenhal? We are tired already...he's my favorite character in the show but I'd rather he was sidelined for 2-3 episodes while the plot moves along elsewhere...

It's very obvious, many people are watching it for the action. Claiming Game of Thrones had better flow than this na lamba....cos I remember being bored to death by GOT for the first 3 seasons. Things only picked up at the end of S3. GOT is even ladden with talk, talk, talk almost all seasons with occasional fights and battle scenes in between.

No, people are watching the show for the political scheming, the character development, the intrigue, the story...not the action...
But yes action is important too...but not the main reason people watched GOT or HOTD

I find it funny supposed fans/followers of [i]Game of Thrones complaining about "slowness" in HOTD when the original show is easily one of the most talky show in television history minus the dragons and few battles sprinkled in between in later seasons. [/i]

Game of Thrones had so many characters and factions, so even when one faction was "slow" or their story wasn't advancing, another faction's storyline would be advancing...

HOTD on the other hand has mainly 2 factions and when the story is barely moving, it is more noticeable.
Worse still when the "main characters" are doing nothing all season but stuck in the same repititive boring loop...(Rhaenyra and Daemon)

Guess I wasn't the only one who got tired during episode 6.

I still love the show, but I'm getting reminded how much more better Game of Thrones is to HOTD.

Rhaenyra's character this season has been awfully written. She's basically complaining every episode about how no one let's her fight and how her council doesn't respect her.

Worse still, she went ahead to start a lesbian relationship out of nowhere with no chemistry??

Anytime they cut back to Daemon, I feel like slapping the TV because I'm tired of the constant hallucinations he keeps seeing. They've wasted Daemon this entire season...its like they didn't know what to do with him for 6 episodes so they just kept him there hallucinating and it's getting boring and repititive.

The Greens are the only interesting side this season tbh...

But even the whole thing with the smallfolk didn't feel very convincing...
