I nor sure say I go finish this show. To even finish the first episode was laborious. The first fight scene looked cringe to me.

Zack Synder try for this show. They really put in the work. Couple of questions though :

1. I thought the dwarf said once they take those weapons are Hel bound. How come Hervor went to hel and the other one went to Valhalla? Abi favoritism dey among gods?

2. The much acclaimed prophecy of that Odin lost Memory for didn't even come to pass as was prophesied, so are they going to continue their fight in Valhalla ?

The whole thing with Valhalla confused me too...

I don't understand why she went to Valhalla...
But maybe I missed something 🤷

People just blame IGN as a whole but forget that IGN have individual reviewers...

IGN actually have some good reviewers but many terrible ones. So it's best to who reviewed each show and their past reviews to know how credible the scores are.

With someone/people gathering a party brave soldiers to fight a superpowers force.

We're really seeing a boom in @dult animated content this past three years and its great for we the consumers.

People won't admit it...

But the popularity and bloom of anime among general audiences have given rise to adult animated content in the West.

The pain Mikasa felt beheading Eren I couldn’t compare same pain Levi felt loosing his comrades and friends. It was heart wrenching to see how frustrated and tired they were trying to change Eren but baba was blind to see the truth.

I mean, Eren was wrong.

But a lot of people would do the same thing he did in his shoes.

Would you wipe out the world to be free and to save your friends and family?

It's a hard choice to make and even harder to keep up with it.

But I guarantee people will make that choice

I can't say anything about this movie without it being major spoilers.
So all I'll say is that this movie had a lot of twists I didn't see coming.

The movie shows how to tell a simple story in a very satisfying way.
The plot itself is decent, but the execution is what makes this movie very good.

Monster feels like a perfect show to adapt. Since almost all its characters are German and not japanese

I haven't seen Onimusha but I've seen Blue Eye Samurai.

I prefer Blue Eye Samurai to Arcane...doesn't mean it was better but I cared more about it's plot and characters. It also had a lot of noticeable flaws I posted in my review of it.

Generally I wasn't much of a fan of Arcane. I got a lot of people hyping it up to be the best show ever but for me it just felt like a decent show.

I'll rewatch it in November so my opinion on it might change then...

I didn't connect at all to the world and most of its characters except the sisters....
I didn't like any of the other characters and didn't find them interesting at all...

The music was good but it wasn't my taste because I watched it at a time when I was done with League of Legends theme songs and the music in the show fit right in with the usual LOL songs

The animation style felt similar to Spiderverse animation which I also didn't like at all.

So basically the show had many things that were subjectively not to my taste at all...it's no surprise I didn't like it much...

However the show is very highly rated and I'm willing to give it another chance...

So I think you should definitely check it out.

Or wait till November so you can watch both seasons at once and not forget the plot of season 1 when season 2 airs

The only time I've heard about Arcane is maybe one or two people recommending it in comments...

I've not seen anyone discussing or dissecting the show for years...

Arcane has almost no presence in online discourse.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood aired how many years ago, yet you always see people talk about it till now. Even Code Geass has people constantly talk about characters, themes and plot....

No one talks about Arcane bro...

Except those die-hard Arcane fans who are very focused on Arcane content. The show is never discussed among the general audei

Arcane has an easily forgettable plot

The Genesis of all these arguments on 'Arcane' isn't worth it to be honest because what the first guy said was absolutely right, except people just want to argue for the sake of argument which is as at now is time wasting.

Arcane like the first guy said is easily forgettable, it's not an anime or a series that becomes entertainment culture amongst folks.
It was a great watch but after some weeks, we totally forgot about it, stopped talking about it and moved on with our lives, this was same for the blue avatar but not the same for the normal anime avatar which till today is still part of our memory and film culture.

Note!! Arcane was a great watch but easily forgettable because personally i can't even remember one scene again but i can still remember lots of series and movies i watched like 15 years ago.

Despite not being a big fan of Arcane, the fact that I forgot everything about it less than 1 month after watching speaks volume on the plot.

The plot was just not memorable at all...

That's one of the reasons I plan to rewatch the entire thing before season 2 rather than watch a YouTube recap

I haven't seen Arcane mediocre videos on YouTube too...

But to be honest it's the same as every decent Hollywood animated show. They all get praised and hyped without hate...not like Velma.

Every decent Hollywood animated show seems to get praised to be peak fiction like X-Men 97, Scavenger Reign, Blue Eye Samurai, Pantheon, even shows like Vox Machina.


No be like the anime side where every popular series seem to have an equal number of haters. People have dedicated their lives hating on One Piece, AOT, Jujutsu Kaisen, Naruto etc...
Go on YouTube and see the number of people hating on them calling them worthless and mediocre

Check IMDB and see the number of reviewbombing these anime have.

Shows like ATLA and Arcane won't get those ratings on sites like IMDB if they were anime.

Imagine shows like ATLA or Arcane or Blue Eye Samurai getting 9.7 or 9.9 episodes on IMDB with 5k votes...
When on anime side, they will create Facebook groups, discord etc to reviewbomb episodes with 20k 1 star votes

° Brodaman, Arcane is more into character development, the story is built towards a war, hopefully netflix won't Seppuku the war. Aot has a lifespan of 10 years spanning 4 seasons with so many filler episodes to remind you about the anime, I had to rewatch it yesterday to remind me why I love it. The story might lack action and suspense for some scenes because they're building something but I enjoyed everything about it just 2 episodes in, some of the dialogue will echo throughout the anime°

Small correction tho:

AOT has no filler at all. Perhaps that's why every episode is highly rated because everything is important.

But I wish there was filler in AOT. We needed to spend more time with the characters.

That's one major criticism I have of AOT. The characters are well written but we don't spend as much time with them.

Season 1 for instance has so many characters with very little time spent on them.

Marco's death that was impactful to the story, themes and characters even to the end fell flat when it was revealed Midway through season 1 because we barely spent any time to get to know Marco better.

In fact Marco was so forgettable despite being very important to the characters and themes even to the end.

24 is all Style and no substance. The perfect Vibes and insha'Allah candidate.

There is no rankings worth its salt that you'd see 24 included as amongst the greatest TV shows of all time. That's to show you how forgettable it is.
Even shows like Homeland, The Americans will easily enter top 50 contemporary shows of the last 20 years.

I didn't even watch up to the part you said he assaulted the POTUS..... If I watch that scene I might smash the TV. I like some level of realism in my entertainment especially when you're talking about the topics that show focused on. When no be Dragon Ball Z I dey watch. His wanton disobedience of superior orders is a huge turn off. Even Tom Cruise Maverick character in Top Gun, as he's so reckless and insubordinate, ain't worse as Bauer.

24 is anything but forgettable.
