Anytime I watched it, I didn't feel one single tension that shït might happen to Bauer the slightest.

That show just seems like the face of what ESPIONAGE is all NOT ABOUT for me. So I low key hate it. I'd easily take Jack Ryan over it anyday anytime.

Personally I think season 1 is overrated and one of the weakest seasons. It had so many repititive plotlines with characters getting kidnapped and escaping so many times...

It's an issue we see with some shows whereby everyone remembers they were good, but no one remembers what happened in them.

Most anime avoid this problem by dividing the story into arcs

I might be over-stretching but I think Arcane is just like Avatar (the blue one) - it’s highly hyped and praised for a few months and after some months - no one even remembers the story or even re-inact plot by plot timelines very well despite how popular it becomes. No offense

It's a common thing with most Western animation except The Last Airbender and Korra.

They are just too short and their events don't stand out in the long run. Praised but their plotlines are easily forgettable.

Most anime don't run into this problem because they are mostly divided into arcs, so it's easier to recall what happened in each arc...e.g Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer etc...
Even Chainsawman S1 was far more memorable than Arcane

No one discusses Arcane online, they just praise it and remember it as being good.

Try prison break sha. S1 and 2. I'm watching it now an oldie but still very good.

I think 24 is still solid even till today...

I heard great things about netflix terminator animated series so I decided to watch and I was disappointed just the usual race/gender swapping,evil men,good women thing. Notice the evil robot bent on destroying humanity was portrayed as male and the saviour AI choose to be female because men are evil,even the father was an Wicked being,his son also a terrible little shit. Not one single good male character but the females were good or just complex. Thank God I downloaded it with WiFi I would have hated myself if I'd use my sub.

Can't speak on this because all I know about the Terminator franchise is from the YouTube video I watched yesterday...

I initially didn't even mention AOT and the original post started from my review of The Rose of Versailles...

But the clôwn brought in AOT and he's always here hating on the show just because he doesn't understand it and it pains him when he sees people analyze it...

Otherwise I have no issues with simply watching for entertainment because I do it for some shows too

Synopsis - set in the same universe as THE WITCH movies.

Some South Korean agents launch a secret superhuman project to create a superhuman army. Similar projects are being run in major power countries like the U.S. But South Korea is not one of the world's superpowers.

The secret project in Korea is exposed to the US and so the project gets scrapped and the sample is to be handed over when a delivery accident occurs. Different major factions are now after the last sample of the Project Tyrant especially the South Korean "Patriots" and the U.S who send their own agents to recover same.


Thoughts -

This mini-series is not easy to understand at all. It took me a while to understand what was going on...so I'm sure many people will struggle with it.


The final episode while it cleared up some mystery, some parts were also confusing...

In fact the ending is a flashback scene to 15 years ago that shows it's major connection to THE WITCH part one movie. **** is revealed to be one of the escaped superhumans from The Witch part 1 and thus had some level of superpowers from this start.

This explains some weird scenes that occured previously in the movie.


I have a feeling that some characters from this mini-series will appear in The Witch Part 3 movie when it releases



Also, the superhuman action scenes in this mini-series and the entire The Witch franchise is far better than what we got in Herogasm of The Boys. Same as the superhuman fights in MOVING series being great.

How Koreans can somehow make better superhuman fights than Hollywood despite having less budget is a mystery.
