I don't know what words I can use to express how great this season has been. The writing has been spectacular.

Thorfinn's journey from being an ignorant kid blinded by revenge and carnage...
To being a man now with a new purpose...a purpose to make up for all the deaths and suffering he has caused...
A purpose to form a nation as an Utopia for those who want to are tired of the war and slavery

Story was okay...writing was not good
Fight scenes were very good

I posted my rant like yesterday about how stûpid the good guys in this show are. They make the worst decisions for plot reasons... especially the fact that they just cannot use a phone when it's literally the obvious choice...
so I won't touch on that again

The most shocking part is the blackmail.
The Antagonist kidnapped, tortured and made a video stripping a person. Then used the video to blackmail that person for almost the entire series...
The plot point was so pathetic...

Same person that has many connection, even has a cousin who has a high rank in the police...and his entire family are both extremely rich and connected...yet a single video where he was the victim is apparently what is used to control him like a dog?

What's worse is he knows fully well the person blackmailing him...
Even if the video is released...what happens?
He's literally the victim, kidnapped, tortured and stripped...

That kind of blackmail can only work on 16 years old girls...not a full adult...
Worse...his cousin, a policeman has full knowledge of the incident


It's like everyone in the movie except the Antagonist has an IQ of 3

Lack of rules or development of Multiverse concept in decades of Superhero fiction

A rule in media (TV series, movies, comics) is meant to show how the internal logic works in the literature or artwork.

It is not meant to limit the writer but to guide the writer in his or her plot/world-building.


A rule can be broad or narrow. All that matters is if it can be shown and it works.

You cannot develop a concept if you simply say the possibilities are limitless....

That's why rules are necessary and that's why the multiverse as a concept has never been developed in decades of Superhero fiction

I disagree with you bro. The multiverse is very defined in many CBMs and comics.

For instance, in Loki TV series and Spiderverse, there are constants (unchangeable events) that occur in each universe no matter how you try to chnage . So as you can see there are principles across different marvel IPs. Even in this new flash movie, there were constant events that could not be changed.

Here are the general rules for a multiverse.

1. The multiverse is infinite.

does this count as a rule? Lol
It's like saying infinite timelines exist and calling it a rule

2. It is difficult to travel from one universe to the other, except-
a. You have a super machine that can do it.
b. You have the innate special powers to do it eg speed, portal powers, magic powers etc

3. Some universes are more similar to each other. This was well explained in the flash 2023. Connections in every universe: some more connected than others.

You can't really call these rules, especially number 3...
it's basically a variant of number 1...it's as broad as daylight...

The purpose of making rules are to constrain what is possible and what is not possible and lead to consistency.
What you're basically doing is showing that I was right in my point that there really are not rules meant to constrain because the IPs don't want one writer limiting what another writer can do...

There is no point in saying something is a rule when it's so broad that its almost as if it doesn't exist

4. There is always a negative effect in going to another universe. Either a time police/temporal police chases you down for breaching timelines or you glitch in the other universe or you lose your powers etc

This is very inconsistent. I didn't see any time police/temporal police in Multiverse of Madness...
Spiderman No way home has none...
Ant-Man, Spiderverse etc


Even if you limit it to MCU media alone, there's still so much inconsistency
