You will not be allowed to drive in the UK with your Nigerian Driver's License at all. Hence the need for the International Driver's License. The International Driver's License allows you to drive in the UK for one year but at a higher Insurance rate(e.g if normal rate is 40 pounds, you will pay around 100 pounds).
You will need 2 passport photograph, your personal details, name of country where its to be used and 17k Naira. It may not cost that much in Lagos as I was given this information at the Licensing office of where I am domiciled and was informed that it will be sent to Lagos. As an Experience traveller. I have navigated some west African countries. The craziest I've ever done is 4 countries in 5 days.
I will suggest, It would be easier if you do not drive. Driving across West African countries requires the right documentation, talkless of non west african countries. You require international drivers license and one other document that permits you to drive on that route. Your Nigerian number plate will attract unnecessary attention. These countries love us as much as they hate us Some of these countries may have security operatives who will try to extort you

Did she tell them that she was gonna stay for 4months at the interview? YOU have to be consistent with your story. The duration of stY on the ticket should be the same she filled on her application. And I highly doubt she will have gotten the Visa if she told them she was gonna stay for that period.They will ask what are you gonna do for that lenght of time? Her visa expiring in a month from.entry is actually not a problem Z, but she should be prepared to be grilled by the CBP on entry on why she will be staying that long and she better have good answers for them. She should be prepared to be sent to secondary inspection.Generally its not a good idea to say you are gonna stay for months

for her visa to be expiring this oct . it implies she got it in 2019 oct and probablly has used it once or severally...so the issue of telling them that she intends to stay 4.5months is DOA. let her just hope for the best. have all the details of her host ready, incase the POE GUYS WANNA CHECK...A VISA IS VALID TILL THE LAST DAY...ITS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE poe OFFICERS TO DETERMINE THE DURATION OF STAY
