what they need to do is just to introduce compulsory comprehensive insurance.. the bigger the engine, vehicle and price of the vehicles should determine the price they pay yearly. Cars will reduce once you start paying millions. People will change

FlirtyKaren:
A Nigerian man took to Instagram to express how shocked he was, seeing a 13-year-old boy buy 4 bottles of beer and drinking it all. The Nigerian man who said the shocking incident occurred in Benue, disclosed that the 13-year-old boy who bought 4 bottles of beer and drank it all, sat with so much confidence which was too hard to ignore. The boy further disclosed that he has been coming to the bar with his uncle, since he was 11.

So i was in a meeting with friends at a bar in benue and dis young boy bounced in with so much confidence sat and ordered for a bottle of beer..As an African man dat i am it was difficult for me to ignore coz the question i asked myself was what if he was my kid brother?? Then i asked him how old he was he smiled and said brother why u ask,I then replied saying coz u look too young to be here and he then said am 13years old but av bin coming hia with my uncle since i was 11..

In shock i asked again how he got the money then his countenance changed like i was asking too much questions..So i walked back to my sit video taped how he ordered for four more bottles, swinging his legs, watched his match n digested it all with a coke bottle ..Now am really getting scared for this generation coz we don't pay attention to dis kids anymore..Parents please look out for your kids, the friends they keep and the things you do in dia presence..For the youths our love for money shouldn't make us ignore our morals.

Your best result will be hangover which can lead to grave, depression, body system failure. We need help o

Babatunde Gbadamoshi nailed it, he did niped it all on the board. High level intelligence i must confess. Having so much to say about the solutions to these challenges shows he has done his homework by reviewing these challenges and having a comeup solutions.Welldone SIR.
But are people going to vote for him, NO
Because he's not sharing money, rice and stupid bribes
Political thugs like oshodi members will not let us have peaceful election
Polling station will be dominated by bribes
And we like popular parties.
I don't know why we can't use technology to our advantage, you don't have voters card, finger print scanning equipments to help this mess
Na we youth go suffer the decisions we refused to stand up for today

But Lagosians won't listen, they prefer been ruled by one man.
It's depressing, this long leg, godfather mess got to stop. We're the problem of this state and country. When people collect rice, money, and all sorts of things during election from selfish candidates. Few months later, same people will start complaining, cursing and saying things, how do you expect your prayers to be answered, your voice to get to them after collecting bribes. We really need to face hunger for a day and eat better food tomorrow. Government are working for us, we should stand against those using it for their benefits.
Business / Re: How Old Were You When You Made Your First Million?, And How? by badmus77(m): 3:34pm On Nov 18, 2018
TissuePaper:
Hello fellow nairalanders and business men, I was at the verge of making my first million naira early this year but I got carried away by the euphoria and made some bad investments which later backfired and left me bankrupt... However, I'm recuperating now, and I just wanted to know at what age you guys made your first million naira and how you did it or the investments you made.

This is just to serve as a motivation to our young and upcoming brothers and sisters still in the labor market struggling to make ends meet.

Thanks

Romance / Re: I Sent N500k To My Fiancée To Open A Shop, She Used It To Settle Family Issues by badmus77(m): 4:59pm On Nov 12, 2018
ramselly:
My Relationship Is Tearing Me Apart

Hello Nairalanders!

Please i need mature advice only.

I and my girlfriend have been dating since 2015, she has always been supportive in everything and every business i do, thou we dont stay in same part of the country.

I have always told her i cannot settle for less and i cannot get married to a lady who cannot manage her resources and make do with what was available as i want the best for us. In 2016 we talked about setting up something for her to do so as to keep her busy and so i had to enrol her to catering school where she learnt baking n so many more. Fast farward to 2017 january, we planned in opening a shop for her, in july 2017 she got the quotation of roughly 700k for the shop opening the shop and buying Goods for the shop, In september 2017 i sent her 500k for her to commense with the opening of the shop but to my greatest suprise she never used the money for the purpose rather she used it in settling family issues. Its been a year now and i intend quitting the relationship because its not what i planned 4. Please i need matured advice. Sorry if my points re not clear enough.

Your own better na, lol
For my own case, na me dey pay everything, gave her money for business, bought things I considered useful to take some stress away but the day I asked how is the business flowing, I was told, that business was meant for her, I should focus on my own business. To end story, I relocated and dumped her.

Religion / Re: Is Church Attendance Compulsory? by badmus77(m): 8:18pm On Jan 06, 2013
[quote author=tobechi74]IS CHURCH ATTENDANCE IMPORTANT?

A pastor heard that one of his parishioners was going about announcing to one and all that he would no longer attend church services. This rebellious parishioner was advancing the familiar argument that he could communicate with God just as easily out in the fields with nature as his setting for worship. One winter evening, the pastor called on this reluctant member of his flock for a friendly visit. The two men sat before the fireplace making small talk, but studiously avoiding the issue of church attendance. After a while, the pastor took the tongs from the rack next to the fireplace and pulled a single coal from the fire. He placed the glowing ember on the hearth. As the two watched in silence, the coal quickly ceased burning and turned an ashen gray, while the other coals in the fire continued to burn brightly. The pastor's silent message was not lost on the parishioner. After a long pause, he turned to the pastor and said "I'll be back at services next Sunday[/quote

You want to know what church is all about..plz read these chapters Psalm 48,74,76,80,84,87,122, and for the lukewarm..plz read this Heb6:4-6
@ poster and others...most of you just like jumping, I serious don't blame u guys, chance your view of things to get better understanding of church..
most of us want to be in a big massive church and what's your excuses, looking for salvation, you get healing, foods from large gathering, believe it or not, even Jesus did same, healed, feed but He teaches small groups and we talking about deep talk. What's the point of going to a church with no unity..read psalm 133, no one is righteous because we are dealing with spirit and body, even pastors are not righteous and if you understand 1Peter1:1-2, you will understand yourself better. If God can creates all sorts of animals, same goes to humans, He created good and bad.
Islam for Muslims / Re: Kaduna Muslims Celebrate Death Of Governor by badmus77(m): 6:02pm On Dec 16, 2012
torkaka: Those in kaduna can confirm, youths are shouting "allah is great, one of our own will replace him". Mai shai joints are filled with joyful residents praising allah's intervention.
We can't really blame them..if a generation is blind to light..their fruits will also be blind to see the light
Why will you celebrate such a thing..Northern people still don't get it..they have the biggest lost if Nigeria is divided today, I will see how they will sent out the Sudanese(Fulani) and they have the worst land in Nigeria..
Religion / Re: What Makes You A Christian: Studying The Bible Or Praying? by badmus77(m): 5:52pm On Dec 16, 2012
sweetrace: Reading your bible and praying are not optional chores that make you a christian. When you have a relationship with someone, you talk to the person, and listen to that person. That's communication, a vital aspect of every successful relationship. When you pray, you talk to God. When you read your bible, you listen to God. Like all relationships, your communication might grow to the point where you hear God speak to you.
You don't read bible..you study it to understand the ways of God, get closer to him and lot more...
Disciples are called christians plz..Acts 11:19-26..if you're not a disciple of God, you're just a salvation hungry lion..a true christian will study the words of the God he/she serves to get closer..how much of the verses and the knowledge of God you know will determine how prayerful you're in spirit.

vin4ever: We debated on this our youth day and I just decided to bring up the Topic on Nairaland to get your opinions, what really makes you a christian: studying the word or praying ?
@poster..nice debate but ask yourself these questions plz
1)Who are Christians?..
2)Why I need to study bible and the effect it will have in my life?
3)Why should I pray?
4)Am I seeking to know God or just interested in what I want to get from him?
Religion / Re: Is It Right For Jonathan To Kneel At Redeemed Camp by badmus77(m): 5:36pm On Dec 16, 2012
pimp_lucious :
How silly Of President Jonathan To Go On His Knees At Redeemed Camp Again

I am watching Channels TV News@10 and the sight before me is highly disappointing!!!!!

After waving and smiling sheepishly to the crowd and delivering his score-card speech, the shoeless fool once again knelt down with all of his Presidential anointing in PUBLIC before Pastor Adeboye. VERY DISGUSTING!!!!!!

Does this man knows the implication of that singular action on the psyche of the 150M Nigerians, many of whom are muslims and men of other faith, whose sovereignty he holds for them in trust?

This man is truly very foolish and a clown
@poster..You're the BIGGEST FOOL on planet..do u think he's kneeling down for man or men..a wise man will always kneel down in front of men of God(good/bad, is not for u to judge)..

Family / Re: What Is Wrong With Men Living With Their Parents After Marriage? by badmus77(m): 2:55am On Dec 17, 2011
I don't think men actually do like moving really far from their family, like, I don't mind staying in same town with my parents, friends but under same roof, that is capital NOOOO, about you not having a choice, 21ST CENTURY, haba, you better go to church n pray, even at 18/19, my dad n mum had to move to different house but not far from us just to give us the freedom, maybe because we are all boiz, anyway, once you r married, as a man, u r meant to move out of ur father's house, get ur place n ur parents r now visitors wit limited access n period of time to stay with u, none of them is going to move into that house, am sorry, even my brother, don't need watchdog in my house, lol, mama go kill me,

Politics / Re: Should Power Return To The North In 2015? by badmus77(m): 9:54pm On Nov 04, 2011
Is not about the power going to North, South, East or even West, I don't think I actually do care about where the power is or the tribe in power, is not what we need now, let all these sick old leaders go and bury themselves, all they care about is the money, I don't just get it wit our leader, what does these old men using the money to do, PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, we are the leaders of tomorrow, what they should be doing is correcting our mistakes not making us suffer, my other point is, are we ready for changes?, how many of us is willing to compromise, sacrifice our time, effort, we can depend on these governs or president, we are just too hard working to let these people destroy our future, WE NEED NEW LEADERS WITH GOOD INTENTIONS TO DRIVE US, as long as we don't sell our votes, reason why they don't care
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Which Football League Is The Best In The World? by badmus77(m): 1:30pm On Nov 04, 2011

Food / Re: How Sacred Is Your Kitchen by badmus77(m): 1:23pm On Nov 04, 2011
Missy ★ B:

Not a bad idea. Does this also apply to the days there will be a football match and/or the days you both get back from work late, and are very tired?
This is to say, you have no problem with your house-help constantly doing the cooking?
, I am really sorry to disappoint you, when Man Utd is playing, I can't be in the kitchen, I could compromise if u can buy another TVn there but doesn't mean I will focus, errmm I dnt fink I will be happy if I chop off my finger, listen, men r rubbish, we can't multi-task, maybe u shld jst join ur man during football game, lol
Food / Re: How Sacred Is Your Kitchen by badmus77(m): 1:07pm On Nov 04, 2011
There r good reasons for employing house help, If my wife can't cook the sort of meals I love, well, house help is allowed or about if I marry one hard working lady n always home btw 8-9pm, I dnt think is a good idea to wait for her to come bk to do the cooking, as for us men, we need to learn how to cook as well, women love their kitchen n always happy to cook their men meals, all they needed from us is a lil bit of help.
