Imagine, they can release money to politicians and their parties to buy votes at the detriment of the citizens. I'm yet to see that person who will correct institutional damage in Nigeria. The country is so bastardised due to weak laws and institutions. To reset Nigeria will require serious determination from a leader to step on powerful toes, how this will be done without people attaching ethnic and religious sentiments against the president will require sincerity of purpose and genuine intent. |
People have been doing hook up business for decades so it's nothing new. Even if the economy is robust and promising, who go do hook up go still do it, so don't attribute everything to Tinubu's economic policies. |
See how he disgraced his entire family. How will he look his children in the face without feeling ashamed of himself? This is a randy man who doesn't care infecting his wife with infections. Putting his prick in every virgina not even minding the smelling ones. |
olaniyilukman:Please for how long do you want the government to keep defending the naira with borrowed Forex? Can you pls provide answer to this? |
mrvitalis:Are you okay at all? Is Mike Bamiloye's son APC spokesperson? Why do you always like to shift attention to APC anytime your saviour misyearn? |
Kobojunkie:Honestly, you're a fool. What will these people do to ever satisfy you. The guy told you the Minister just resumed, still you insist it was clout-chasing. The Minister can decide not to visit them, but whether it is clout-chasing or not, she made a visit and showed concern. No be everything you go deh talk rubbish on. |
Afonja44:But same Tinubu is presiding over your motherfucking brain. |
mejetov422:You're not making sense. The fact that you're protesting doesn't mean you should start burning and looting public properties. Where is the sense in that? Most of you just comment with emotions just because Tinubu is not the candidate you want. |
ogbe88:You're mentally disabled and lack functioning brain. |
oyeb15:Try to deh comment without emotions. So na military go give you freedom to deh yearn nonsense on social media? See, the present govt may look bad to you cause of several policies affecting the populace, however, don't ever think of Military govt, your freedom of expression is not guaranteed, they will locate you and jail you. We know things are not going on well in the country and the people are also exploiting one another with arbitrary increase in the price of goods and services. The government is not getting things right and made subjecting the people to harsh economic policies aimed at curbing crude oil theft. Corruption, insecurity is still on the high side. Without strong institutions and highly effective laws, the country cannot progress and I don't know that leader that is still alive that can change the country narrative from her Present predicament. |
Ololufe2009:Coming out to protest is not a crime but using the opportunity to destroy and burn public properties all in the name of protest will definitely attract stiffer penalties. Did these same kids protest when Buhari was in power? Jonathan that built Almajiri schools for them, didn't the northerners Bleep him up? See, if the government allows this to go, the kids will be empowered more than this to cause greater damage in the future. However, this is not exonerating Tinubu's govt in the way he has handled the economy and cause serious hardship for the people he governs. |
HitSong:You misquoted him. He asked the residents if they had ever seen previous FCT ministers come to their base to relate with them and give them information on development concerning their locality. |
Seefinish:See him mouth like that of warthug. So you deh look for short cut to power? |
Deemas:Oga you're entitled your opinion likewise him. It shouldn't degenerate to the level of considering 2 fighting. One of the problem facing Nigeria is in uncontrolled population which is causing too much burden on the available resources coupled with the level of corruption. I just learnt that a friend of mine who earn less than 120k as a federal worker has given birth again after 3 kids. Imagine the way people always put themselves for problems and later be blaming govts for everything. Are people not suppose to limit giving birth to not exceeding 3 children? |
Soludo Started it and his colleagues wants to key into it, bunch of unreasonable people siphoning and mismanaging public funds. Had it been Nigeria laws are very effective and there are strong institutions, these governors will be cautious with the way they spend public funds. |
I tried to surf the Internet to get extract on the adoption of CNG powered vehicles by Advanced countries and here are the information retrieved. CNG powered vehicles are in use but not as common as petrol or solar powered vehicles. Yes, advanced countries use compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles, but to a lesser extent than in other regions: Europe CNG vehicles are not a major part of the automobile industry in Europe. However, the EU had over 1.23 million CNG-fueled passenger cars registered as of 2021. The EU also has around 3,642 CNG stations, with more than half located in Italy and Germany. Other countries CNG vehicles are more widely used in other regions, including: Asia: CNG vehicles are an important alternative to conventional cars in many Asian countries, including China, India, and Pakistan. Latin America: CNG vehicles are an important alternative to conventional cars in many Latin American countries, including Argentina and Brazil. North America: CNG vehicles are increasingly used in North America due to rising petrol prices. CNG vehicles are considered an alternative to traditional cars because they can help reduce emissions. However, some factors that may limit the widespread adoption of CNG vehicles include: Concerns about additional weight, Technological unfamiliarity, and Limited refueling infrastructure. This information is retrieved from goggle. Since the use of petrol is out of the reach of common man due to the removal of fuel subsidy, anyone that is interested in converting his vehicle to CNG powered should be encouraged but should be done at the approved conversion center. |
We4all:The people weh deh take him serious na them I pity most. |
Gadafii:How I wish these guys can be compelled to start wearing body Cam to record their activities especially those whose duties are on the highway. There is a need for aggressive sanitization of the Nigeria security apparatus, they are highly unprofessional in their conduct, they have no respect for human dignity and rights. |
I prefer EFCC go into plea bargaining with corrupt public officials, retrieve 60% of the looted funds from them and use these funds to finance decayed public infrastructures in states where these governors stole. Most EFCC prosecutions suffer technical defeat after many years of back and forth. |
Penguin2:You really lack home training. Imagine you calling a CJN idiot for Christ sake? This is somebody's mother and can you imagine the trash you spilled out. Is the CJN responsible for your woes if you have any? You people need to use sense when commenting on nairaland pls. |
VinnyBaba:And you sure say you get functioning brain? |
Tokskob2008:Not all suicide should be linked to the current hardship in the country. Anything could have been responsible as the cause of the suicide. Stop linking every bad thing that happens to people as Tinubu factor. People have been committing suicide even before Tinubu became president. So many things can cause depression, childlessness, unemployment, low sperm count, fraud, and a lot of things could make someone decide to take his or her life. |
jmoore:So he did not rig for Fubara too? Always reporting the side that suite you. |
Dogalmighty17:Same you will be clamouring for better Nigeria and see what you're encouraging. You bribed officials to have your way and you want Nigeria to get better abi? |
PlasmaTV:Please use sense now. What concerns Tinubu with Bayelsa Fraudulent budget? This thread is not about Tinubu but exposing government officials siphoning public funds through dubious means. We need to call out these governors whether they are in APC or PDP, all of them are guilty of stealing public funds and causing hardship for their people. |
naijaboy756:Why are you vexing on the guy, him collect your wife ni? |
hkidola00:Only the sensible ones among them will understand your message. If Obi had performed creditably well when he governed Anambra, he could have gathered enough votes from southwest and the north but he performed below par and was expecting miracles. I could deduce they are agent specifically empowered to always look for ways to bring down any govt controlled by a Yoruba. I'm not surprised when you see that majority of those calling for military take over are from the southeast. Tinubu may be performing badly but why not wait till 2027 and remove him through the ballot instead of calling for military to take over power from him. |
Federal govt gave States deadlines to conduct LG elections and as soon as the deadline expires, nthe FG will do the needful. |
As Reno deh flog Obi, Okupe deh knock him head with 2 by 2 because of his uncontrolled mouth. No be say if him be president, Nigeria go better, someone that could not govern a state well and had to be impeached twice because of his poor human management skills. To be sincere, Obi doesn't have the balls to govern a complex nation as Nigeria due to several interests he will not be able to handle. Obi will be consumed with Boko-Haram, banditry and kidnappings within a year of his administration and that is when he will know that uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. He may have good intentions but does he have the political will to rejig Nigeria? |
Dshocker:How did he write Olisa off? Check the last paragraph of what the guy wrote. He said Olisa is a great guy too but the case Olisa is dragging will make him look like he's encouraging corruption. |
pretydiva:Right he could be spitting facts, him saying the money they get is not enough is a lie. Is he not stealing and enriching himself through same public funds? |
Nigeria cannot get it right with several lawless disregard for court order left and right. You even see Attorney Generals of States misinterpreting cout orders to suit their own position. What manner of country is this? If the head is faulty, how can you make others to comply? In advanced countries like UK and US, once a court makes an order, dem no born you well not to comply. Their institutions are so strong and has no respect for anybody even the president or prime minister. Things go anyhow in Nigeria and people are capitalizing on our weak institutions. The president has to show good example by ensuring all court orders are complied with starting from himself. They should sanitize the legal system and rid it of corrupt judges, even Nigeria political system needs to be sanitized, you see people killing themselves for political positions, things has gone bad in Nigeria such that effecting these changes will need incorruptible leader who also has the political will to swim through the storm in the system whenever he is faced with the political and economic saboteurs. |
