Congrats to our boys and the coaching crew. My respect goes to coach Amunike. Mehn, that guy na correct coach. He did what Manu garba could not do against germany at the U-20 world. Mali dominated us especially towards the last 25 mins of the first half. Just like the germans did against us at U-20. The malians attacked and defended well, misplaced passes from our boy. All Mali needed was a goal but with the help of GOD we defended. That second half was something else especially the first 20mins. I am sure the malian coach must have congratulated his boys at halftime for playing well and dat there is nothing special about our boys, Coach Amunike gave them the right incentives. The second have was like magic, malian boys did not even understand what hit them. It was a complete turn around. Shots were just flying from everywhere both longrange and short range short. We dominated for good 20 mins with 2 goals to show for it. We expected the same from Manu, his coaching crew and his boys against germany at the U20 world cup. For where? They played the same way the played in the first half with no real chance not to talk of shot on target. Germany outclassed them completely. |
Congratulations to our boys for making us proud. Now is the time to win the elusive U-20 championship. Amunike and his coaching crew must have learnt a lot from what happened to manu and his boys at the last U-20 tournament. We must add the likes of Ezeh, yahaya, awoniyi and others in the age bracket to our team. If and only if they are good enough and performing excellently well in the clubs. We need experience in our team, we should not just going in with 18 year olds like we did with Manu's boys. Some good 19-20 year olds should join the boys and we could easily get them from the 2015 set. |
Jagagiji jiggaman2 What is wrong with your Malians. Those malians were performing like a real champion in their previous matches until you started supporting them. You infected them with your ghanian bad luck. Nigeria world champion for the fifth time. |
Osimhen will get a good deal from a good team after this tournament. 10 goals in 7 consecutive games no be beans ooo. When you are not Jamie Vardy of Epl. See that composure and confidence he showed when he struck the ball. 10 goals in 7 consecutive games. 10 |
Nice save Udoh. |
Coach Amunike deserves some credit for the change in our boys performance in this second half. Can't believe these are the same boys that played the first half. Mali don't even know what hit them in the first 20mins of this half. |
Osimhen goal. 10 goals |
Omo this Mali juju strong baje. Post twice and a lost penalty. |
Osimhen is Doro super hot. Nice shot yeee post |
We need to up our game real fast. The first half was really not too good, but we have another 45mins to do something better. |
Mali get our anti-dote for hand. They must not score first oo or else yawa don burst be dat. |
Misplace passes from our boys are too much. |
Great save Udoh. Nice reflex. |
Penalty oooo. Penalty lost. Why not Osimhen for God sake. |
Jiggaman2:Again let me ask you. Will you be hear after 90mins. because we are winning this one. |
Jiggaman2:jiggyjagga tell us why ghana failed to participate in both Caf U-17 and fifa u-17 championship? Yes, they were banned/disqualified for cheating. Using ancestors as u-17 players. |
Jiggaman2:Mr man go and sleep jor. We've seen ghanians like u, blabbing b4 the start of our matches only to go into extinction after just 45mins of play. Expecting the same thing from you. |
30mins to go. Let us go boys. We must bring this trophy home and break dat yeye asian soil myth. Now 5 is here and Mali must and can't stop us. I pray Osimhen gets his numba 10 goal today. You may say individual trophy is not important but this one is. It will be an added award to complement our fifth title. There is no fun in having 3 players stranded on 9 goals. Klexycole hope you are not hiding again like you did when we played mexico. |
klexycole:finally he is back. The trophy is not only awaiting ur, the trophy wants to come back home. No place like home, no place like naija. Good morning |
Badosqi:3-2 |
Great comeback from our boys.... I hope we won't play the second half like we always do. Allow our opponents to dominate us again for the first 20-25mins of the second half to wear them down then come out in the last 20 mins to score more goals. It may be dangerous today against the crazy Mexican side. |
Opee ooooo 1-1 |
All we are sayinnnnggg, CHANGE that jersey |
shebi na dat useless green jersey we wear, that is the badluck jersey. Yes we defeated brazil with the same jersey I know but it doesn't change the fact that we record our losses(U17) in that green jersey. |
AIT Osogbo God punish you guys......useless people |
God give us the needed spirit to defeat the El Tri boys. I hope and believe that we will win. And I hope we win with another cleansheet today, Mexico is not Australia they will surely have enough shots on target to increase Udoh's save. The final match will determine the golden glove. |
Mali waiting for us in the final..... That Malian team is damn good, I fear them like kilode. |
Mali 2-1 Belgium......56mins |
Mali 1-1 Belgium......... 49 mins |
Klexycole where you dey? Less than 2 hours to go |
Belgium top the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking for the first time in history. Les Diables Rouges (The Red Devils) have jumped two places on the November edition to replace previous leaders Argentina (3rd, down 2) and world champions Germany (2nd, unchanged). The biggest climbers in the top ten are Chile (5th, up 4), while England (9th, up 1) and Austria (10th, up 1) have each made slight progress. This is the first time that Belgium, Chile and Austria have ever reached such heights on the global ladder. Six teams have leapt by ten places or more in the top 50 this month, namely Turkey (18th, up 19), Bosnia and Herzegovina (20th, up 10), Ecuador (21st, up 10), Republic of Ireland (42nd, up 12), Paraguay (47th, up 14), and Serbia (49th, up 14). Four teams have improved their ranking by over 30 places: Chad (136th, up 39), Cyprus (76th, up 38), Sao Tome e Principe (157th, up 36) and Turkmenistan (121st, up 34). The composition of the top 50 for November 2015 shows little change, with the AFC gaining two teams through Korea Republic (48th, up 5) and Japan (50th, up 5) and Africa losing two, Cameroon and Congo each having dropped three places to 51st and 52nd respectively. The other confederations have the same number of teams as last month, with the regional composition of the top 50 now looking as follows: UEFA: 31; CONMEBOL: 7; CAF: 6; CONCACAF: 3; AFC: 3; OFC: 0. The last FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking of 2015 will be published on 3 December and could see Belgium take the ‘Team of the Year’ title, should they retain its top spot. The ‘Mover of the Year’ will be awarded to the team which has gained the most points in 2015. Current contenders for this are Turkey (up 430 points), Chile (up 331 points), Wales (up 330 points) and Austria (up 319 points). However, with various matches and qualifiers due to take place over the coming weeks, the positions are still all to play for. A total of 172 international ‘A’ matches have been taken into account in the November edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking, bringing the total number of matches evaluated so far this year to 840. Qualifiers for UEFA EURO 2016 (50 matches) and the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ (66 matches) played a significant role in some of the major changes to this month’s instalment. The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 3 December 2015. Summary Leader Belgium (up 2) Moves into top ten Austria (10th, up 1) Moves out of top ten Wales (15th, down 7) Matches played in total 172 Most matches played Ethiopia (5 matches) Biggest move by points Turkey (up 224 points) Biggest move by ranks Chad (up 39 ranks) Biggest drop by points Wales (down 163 points) Biggest drop by ranks Sudan (down 44 ranks) Source: http://www.fifa.com/fifa-world-ranking/news/y=2015/m=11/news=belgium-go-top-chile-and-austria-soar-2730157.html?intcmp=fifacom_hp_module_news_top |
