RomanceThe Woman That I Love. by BaEnki(op):
The woman that I love,
Hidden by space and time,

Sometimes, I feel like flying away,
To the greatest sky beyond,
To be the prisoner of her love.

The woman I love,
Hidden by the ocean and tides,
Deep in the water I dived,
Only with the ocean immortals I dined.

Like a jewels of veil,
Hidden from the eyes of the truth,
Hungs in the deepest of the earth to the sky above,
It's beginning of the search for love,
The search for Mona Lisa,
The undying immortal,
The woman I indeed love cry

RomanceRe: I Hate Been Looked On As A Sex Object! by BaEnki(m): 8:43am On Mar 31, 2017
Alero3Arubi:
I find it annoying.
I don't like the cat calls from men.
Or the balant stare men give my pesky breast, hips or ass and lick their lips.
Basically this disgusts me and makes me loose respect for that male.
I can talk to any and everyman.
I am no snob.
But I will not stand for sexual crudeness.
Now its bad enough that as a lepa girl that I am, I have yo deal with this from guys. And if that had been the only sphere of endurance I would not have wished to rant.
The insane thing is when Females do the same thing!
You will gear words like
'you should wear heavier padded cups to make your breasts look fuller'
'dont you think your hips need some enhancement cream?'
'gosh you've got such flat tummy, if only you had an ass to go with it!'
'your lips need some work on it, so it can look fuller and pink'
'if I had your height I would flaunt it and get a lot of magas'
I know my breasts are pesky.
I know my hips aren't full.
My ass is flat yes i get it.
But I don't really bother about these things.
So can they think of more important things to say?
The one that really gets at me is:
'dont you think you should exchange your glasses for contacts? They would look better on you. Plus a lot sexier if you got a free colour'
I hate wearing glasses.
I have never been able to pull it off as cool the way a lot of people do.
I make sure no one sees me, except in occasions when the itching starts and I just have no choice.
So it bites me when I'm being ridiculed about them.
And for the reason of seeming sexy too!
Crap.
I give up.
Hey Arubi,
Men are bullies, we can do and undo to get under.
You're perfectly okey and you'll get the right man at the right time.

Don't succumb to men pressure, and don't allow yourself to be subdued by them and then see you as a sex object.

Don't give up.
LiteratureRe: Bi-tribal by BaEnki(m): 8:12am On Mar 31, 2017
Alero3Arubi:
I AM BI-TRIBAL
I am a Nigerian, an Ikwerre/Itsekiri from Rivers/Delta State(s) and in that order. My dad is an Ikwerre from Ivers state and my mum is an Itsekiri from Delta state all in Nigeria. And being that the Nigerian Constitution recognises the father's side as a basis of origin, then Rivers and Ikwerre has to come first. My names from my father's tribe are Ada Ajems and from my mother's side Alero Oritserholi Arubi and my foreign name is Jennifer.
I choose to be called Alero Ajems Arubi, those are my identity starting this year Febuary, because I realised that while I was known as Ajems Jennifer, an Ikwerre lady from Rivers State I felt incomplete and that identity was untrue in all grounds. I wasn't just Ajems Jennifer an Ikwerre female from Rivers State, NO. I am Alero Ajems Arubi an Ikwerre/Itsekiri from Rivers/Delta because both parents contributed immensly to my conception.
I have both the Ikwerre and Itsekiri blood flowing in and through my veins. That while my fatherland is important, I do not just represent him. People will not just say she is the daughter of Mr. Mark Ajems but also say she is the daughter of Stella Arubi Ajems. And that while I will have paternal grandparents, I will also have maternal grandparents. My cousin line will be full because they will come from both tribes. That while Ajemonu Amadi will call me his granddaughter, Stephen Dortti Oye Arubi will also in all ownership of right call me his granddaughter too.
I am not just Ajems Jennifer of the Ikwerre Descent. I am Alero Ajems Arubi in that order of the Ikwerre/Itsekiri descent(s), a pure blooded Niger Deltan of the south of Nigeria.
I am Bi-Tribal.
What are you?
#Bi-Tribal.

@xharder, you renders your valid points invalid by resulting to using some fowl terms in expressing them. Always critisise logically and constructively.

The lesson; Always respect your elders no matter what, its a core moral value.

@Profhezekiah
You seems to have forgotten what the Ooni stool encompasses, He's not just a king to Ile Ife people as you thought but a king to all Yoruba race and descendants all over the world.

The number one priority of Ooni is to protect and promote our culture and our people, He's exporting our culture to the western world with His travellings, I only wish he hadn't give credence to the Jewish god and the god-son.

Anyways He's an enlightened one, he knows the politics that's attached with religion all over the world.

So who is more correct, you or your family?
No one is correct neither was any one right, I was right with my choice why they were with theirs, so I'll say we were judgmentally right.

Then if your observation leads you to Atheist and your family observation leaves them a Christians, what change then?
Nothing changes as much as we don't try to change one another. I was correctly presumed as an adult and wise enough to make my choice(s).

But I've seen where Atheist the prominent ones even on Nairaland here said "we were all born Atheist"

it's like you don't subscribe to this.
Yea I don't subscribe to this at all, we were all born blank, our brain is adaptive in nature.

africandictator:
what if every law applicants were automatically admitted, won't there be jobless lawyers. ..??
There won't be jobless Lawyers, they can still practice even without pay and be happy with with it, because they really love it. Besides, becoming a Lawyer entails you to have high IQ which transmit to adequate intelligence and brilliancy, everybody don't have that, I once have a secondary school mate who aspired to be a lawyer but had an abysmal 196 jamb score, he had to settle for something else's then.

So to your question, all the applicant can not be admitted even when you still performed very well, remember one Agbor will read of here? She wasn't admitted in OAU, though looking at her result, we can deduce that she's brilliant but she was competing with more brilliant student eg SirWeresmiley who was admitted to study the same course on merit.

Nigeria made you score below the required JAMB cut off mark for your desired course?
I was merely supporting his claim about how hard Nigeria situation is, checking through what I wrote earlier about getting your desired course, you'll see where I wrote that your overall performance in exams determines the course you'll get.

I didn't score below JAMB required score, and I was given the course I chose during the reg.

Check well through posts before commenting.

Good question, which means even a new born doesn't know anything like Atheism.

So you believe as an Atheist the reason you become one is because someone taught you.

Then why do you always upset with religious people based on their own personal observation by believing in God or it's only Atheist who has the right for observation?
Hello,
I don't get angry at people being religious, I came from a family deep rooted in Christianity.

We don't just learn by what we were taught, we learnt better through observation which I indeed mentioned, so nobody taught me to be an Atheist.

Even a new born doesn't know anything about life system, he was a blank hard drivesmiley

Okeyyy, I got that!

If you did go true my post very well, I touched this, why settle for what we don't love in the first place? I mean why settle for the less? Just because we wanna be in school? That's why there are many jobless guys out there, because they never love what they did in the first place.

Most higher institutions in Nigeria will easily take you in when you beat their cut off mark, now that's the reality, many guys who aspired to be a doctor ended up studying physiology, microbiology etc at the end of the day, they were left confused wondering where to path their saddle at in life.

Hello,
The question you're asking now is the first question you suppose to asked yourself before proceeding on any chosen discipline, I might not really be able to give you any tangible advice here, but I'm sure many will do.

There's always a passion that drives us towards our goal in life, if the passion is not there before studying in university/or any higher institution, then probably you're studying in there to get out of home boredom or excape societal lynching.

But anyways, why you keep on searching for a job, you can raise some money and hone your skills in whatever you love to do, have a/some professional certificate(s), that gives you an edge in the labour market and still makes you a standalone or even labour employer.
Regards.
