Gossiping about others is so exciting to people, that's why people craft all manner of stories and send it out and everyone will talk about it even if it ain't real |
Why set yourself up for controversy by asking unintelligent questions? Who do you expect to go around all the universities in Nigeria to find out for you, concretely, if they honour the certificate you are talking about or not? Go to the school of your choice and make enquiries for yourself from the department you seek to apply for further studies. |
How can he be your husband already when as you say, this gift is a "pre-wedding" gift to you? |
The girl is gone. That is if the gist is real! |
Only those who have experienced & understands the pain of being falsely accused can relate with what this man is saying. |
How do people come up with these stories? And why do they craft these stories! |
'Rich niggas making poor decisions' - Rick Ross |
The madness in this is for the 'sister' to utter words and feed it to a machine and come to claim that those were the words her late brother would have said. I've had it with these soulless people! |
Caaz:Does eba really qualify for being called 'grocery' in this context? Granted it is staples food, but is it really being gotten from a grocer/supermarket? This is a staple food that can be processed at home for private use or otherwise for commercial use. Let's simplify our lives through usage of proper simple language: Garri. |
It's easy to apportion blames rather than acknowledging that the mass failure reflects the endemic rot in the system. It is structural, and the educational curriculum for Nigerians is in desperate need of a review. I commend the few hardworking and exceptionally brilliant young lads who passed the neck-breaking exams with flying colours. |

From the woman's gleeful smile, she must have talked the man into accepting crochet as wedding day outfit. But why the white gloves too? |
Humans need a meaning in life to lead a life that is not consumed by chaos. Spirituality which religion tries to propagate talks about this. This lady has allowed herself to be overtaken by the chaos of life such that she demeans herself to the point of cutting of some parts of her body that she didn't create. Such self hatred is a sign of underlying psychological problems which sadly can only be addressed with help from her immediate family members who in this case have failed her. |
Do whatever you want. |

What an absolutely creative poem! Made for such an interesting read. |
I watched the video. Who ever recorded that video (or doctored it) has done the former Deputy Governor grave and almost irreparable damage, politically! Body language wise, the friend sitting beside him in the video even seemed as though he was aware that there was a video recording going on. |
It's condescending. Reeks of safari stripes with theme depicting Africa's close affinity to wildlife. I would still wear it nonetheless! |
Granted that the errors in the organisation of the funfair cost this nation the lives of those innocent children, it is obvious that the former Queen never intended to cause the death of those kids. All the families of the victims of the stampede should be heavily compensated, although no amount of monetary compensation can equate the value of those precious lives that were wasted. Let the Government put in place new regulations to guide against poor organisation of events like this in future. |
Now, here is a case that I am highly interested in. Why did NNPC (or NNPCL) have to wait until Dangote refinery started producing fuel before they announced their local production of fuel as well? |
I had to go back to watch the comments from the Mr. John Samuel - the political stakeholder from Okrika, and I must confess that dirty politics can make people to say and do utterly despicable/reprehensible things. He argued that if the Assembly Complex was not conducive, then the Governor has every right to demolish the entire place. It didn't even augur to him for the slightest moment that if the aim was to maintain the infrastructure, then instead of outright demolishing, the Governor could SIMPLY refurbish the complex. Anyways, all that is history now as we are all aware today what brash decisions like this tearing down of structures meant for institutions has escalated into. |
The mother knows his son better than you, the wife, do. |
She has done nothing wrong. |
collinsoft:The issue at hand here is that she is saying that he defamed her. |
The issue of whether a tenant has rights to put solar panels on the roof of the house that has been rented to him/her, regardless of whether the landlord agrees or not, should be tried in court and determined even up to the Supreme Court level. On a personal note, I see no reason why a landlord should obstruct his/her tenant from installing solar or any other electricity production modules within the space that has been rented to such a tenant in so far as the installation doesn't damage the structure of the building or its components. In fact, in any instance of damage, the tenant can still be held accountable to pay for any damage caused. |
This is one step towards getting on to the right direction. But the most proper thing to do would be to SIMPLY appear before the State House of Assembly and re-present the budget as was earlier requested, without this face-saving yet unnecessary measure of inviting the Assembly members to a meeting at the Governor's office first. It reeks of grandstanding, and will serve to sow more seeds of suspicion between the legislative and the executive arms of government. |
The suspended Senator does not yet have any 'case' with the Senate President Akpabio. The case she instituted in court is between her and Akpabio's new media aide by name Mfon Patrick which she accused of cyber bullying and defaming her. All her colleagues in the Senate have unanimously agreed that she should be suspended; that her tactic of brandishing sexual harassment allegations about right after she was reprimanded for refusing to SIT on the SEAT allocated to her has brought the Senate into disrepute. |
Rest well deserved. |

The party must have been terrifying to attend. |
The end has not been heard of this matter. |
