Long Live Pope Francis the 1st......Catholic, and proud!!! |
I was actually waiting for the rumours to be proved wrong only to be disappointed by this brazen show of shame by the GEJ led FG. Alams of all people?..I wouldn't be surprised to see his Escalade EXT with 'Gov. Gen' plate number cruising arnd Asokoro with Police escorts tomorrow....Naija (sorry,PDP) I hail ooooo |
When I remember all she used to do, I always smile wistfully...There was a day we were having our visiting day and my mum was on medication for typhoid yet she managed to travel for over 300km just to see me and my brother, I felt like the world's most pampered baby (was alrdy in SSS 1 ooo)...still loving my dear. Rest in Peace mum, u were d best!!! |
I do not have any insider info particularly involving the Epe demolition, but i know as a matter of fact that no matter how many decades you occupy a land marked for purposes other than residential, you always remain a tenant at will and deserve no notice to quit ( kindly confirm with relevant laws of the land) hence your building can be DEMOLISHED at any time the government wishes without as much as a weeek's notice considering you cant legalise an illegality and using the land for residential purposes when same was not earmarked for same is an act void ab initio. "THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF THE ACT(S) OF THE LASG AS REGARDS THIS MATTER) |
Well, I dunno about fairy tale marriages but I have been married for two years and saying we both have been tested (either by each other or the fates)would be an understatement. However IMO,marriages aren't all bout the glamour n all but bout 2 people from different backgrounds blending and making their relationship work.I'm crazy in love with my wife and she reciprocates and although we both have our moments and all, we resolve same ASAP and I know in my heart of hearts that I would literarily and figuratively 'be dead' if I wasn't married to her. #stilllovingyoucrazydear# |
Real-Mccoy:Bro, i understand the fact that the army seems like a tribal one but u shld also understand that the problem of lopsidedness in the composition of officers and men of the nigerian army was not created today or yesterday, it was entrenched in the polity the moment we had more Northern states compared to the southern parts. P.S - I have only heard of a VERY few coup plotters who admit to having being involved in the planning and execution of same (considering its a capital offence). We only hear "i was implicated"...were there no meetings/consultations before these coup(s)were eventually pulled off?...Coup planning is an expensive venture which mostly results in the death(s) of people.... - I am also sure GEJ had his pound of flesh too by removing Danbazau as the COAS.... |

Whenever i hear cries of 'we were marginalised before, now its our turn to do same', i always smile and narrow it down to inadequate information about the recruitment process of the army and the military at large. The army recruits evenly across all the states of the federation be it other ranks, regular courses, Direct Short Service or Direct Short Service Combatant. What i mean is, if 111 people are to be recruited be it in the officers cadre or other ranks, 3 are chosen from each state across the federation including the FCT. If we are to look at the number of states in the SE (5) compared to the 19 northern states (excluding the FCT oooo) or the 6 states in the South-West, i think it is only obvious these cries of marginalisation by the North is in order. It is pertinent to note that the army remains one of the uniting institutions and its officers and men are among the most disciplined in the country. This is the reason why the army council and the COAS should not turn a deaf ear to these allegations and internal wranglings. Most insurrections and unrest from the military anywhere in the world had its roots in lack of confidence in the leaderdship (whether such claims were justified or not is a matter for another day) and when same was not treated with dispatch, resulted in unnecessary deaths and chaos. Just my 2 cents |
The President is being shielded from the feelings of hardship and anger currently ravaging the land hence the reason for this unfortunate statement he caused to be issued by his attack dog, if not he should have known by now that the average Nigerian is disillusioned and doesnt need anyone to instigate him/her against the govt. The President already instigated and still instigates Nigerians against himself by his policies which aims at keeping food off the table and smiles off our faces. Now where are the attack dogs attached to Nairaland? |
In my opinion, the length of time doesnt make a difference in the quality of the marriage. I dated my wife for 5 months before i got married and i still feel like a king whenever i'm with her...(love u sweets!!!) |
Iya ni wura.....10 years gone and still relating to this. My mum once came to ibadan for visiting day though she couldnt even leave the car cos she was that sick and weak....still loving u mum!!! |
