tobiasbeecher:I just logged in after a long hiatus and saw this. Lolz, you my friend are an idiot!! |
Hello, do you still stand by your earlier post or have you recanted? tobiasbeecher: |
I would have typed this 'To my mind, a woman who cheats, has exposed her husband's secrets and is same with a woman who is physically abused a la cosa nostra' but who be I to judge'?....I do not know what I would do but I am definitely sure we wouldn't remain married... |
Its quite sad un-informed peeps now straddle the cyberspace and say whatever they want...however we want to see it, Sen. Abaribe stood surety for a person who has flouted his bail conditions and not attended court. Bail entails you standing trial for whatever you are charged for, however flimsy. Saying the army should produce him or that the operation carried out caused him to flee is an anomaly and same shouldn't be condoned by the courts. The honourable Senator should produce him or forfeit his bond. Quote me and I won't respond, non-lawyers should not come here and cast aspersions on the legal profession. |
Right hand... |
Death by stoning has actually never been carried out in Nigeria so I wonder why it was included in this write-up...as regards the death penalty, I do not think Nigeria should practice this considering the way investigations are carried out especially the methodology involved in obtaining statements from suspects...#my2cents |
Congratulations to them but @ op, kindly note that lawyers are not inducted...instead, they are called to the bar...i.e I hereby call you jointly and severally into the Nigerian bar,you can now practice as Barristers and Solicitors of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, you may now wear your wig ( sweetest words I ever heard) |
GlorifiedTunde:Commendable...meanwhile I thought Calabar was in cross-rivers and not Akwa-Ibom...cheers bro |
Stern, impartial and a very knowledgeable gentleman. Justice Chukwu knew and practiced the law to the letter (at least that's always been the opinion I had whenever I appeared before him). He was fair to both litigants and their counsels. May God grant him eternal rest. |
In my humble opinion (as per retired soldier), na only #1 dey on target...chewing gum, pocketing and the turanchi no follow...Babe, when you come to my room off campus, u wanna get down.. increasing the volume dey bad for boys wey wan watch/ hear satiiiiiii....lwtmb |
I wouldn't have commented but I think it would be in the interest of justice and fairness to do so. Abdullah Gana is one of the most competent ACG's in the NSCDC as attested to by a close friend who works with them. Plus kindly note that any officer above the rank of commandant is a political officer and entitled to vie or be appointed to thee office of the Commandant General. Don't let's politicise everything....Political bigotry and ethnicity has never made any country great. P.S he is not the most senior officer... |
In my opinion and considering the circumstances, the doctors should have consulted the legal department of the hospital and possibly obtained a court order to perform blood transfusion...the last time I checked, suicide is still a criminal offence in the country... |
