They are both valid. It isn't a right or wrong; true or false situation. Personally, I prefer option 1 and I strongly recommend it.

The point is, you're waiting. So why can't you use the opportunity and apply for admission(s)? If you get the award, you would just submit your offer of admission. Parallel processing. My people, as rice dey inside pot on top fire, you no fit cut onions?


If you delay, you might have to "settle" for any University that is willing to admit you at that point.

Good advice... in my own case, I checked the university website and didn't find the course I chose during the PTDF application... What do you advise?
1) Can I apply for another course in the same university I chose as my choice?
2) Can I focus on the second and third choices of my application?

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, update from Kaduna centre. I went to the venue.. we were screened to make sure we were actually invited. There were 3 separate panels, Engineering, Environmental Management and Computing.... (I forgot the complete name). I was lucky because when I entered and one of the panelists saw my indigene certifictate he was like "I stayed in this state for 9 years and all my children were born there".... na so we start to dey gist about my state, he also saw that I graduated from ABU, this made me even more comfortable with him.. after that I was asked just two questions... "Why do you want to further your study" and "What is the relevance of your course to the oil and gas industry" which I answered... as I had already prepared for the questions. As for awards... I gave them all the awards... because I have 4 secondary school awards though I don't know which of them they accepted, I also presented my Graduate membership certificate of Nigerian Society of Engineers. After they finished with me I told him "On behalf of the people of my state, we are grateful for his selfless service and whoever wants to come to the state is welcome", The other panelist jokingly said "don't bribe us na....". In short I enjoyed the interview (interaction rather)...

Flash recovery using the command, then immediately boot into recovery without booting to system. If you boot to system after flashing twrp, stock recovery, would take over again.

Alternatively, you can do whatever you want to do by simply booting twrp and exectutng.

To boot into twrp without flashing, use this command..

fastboot boot recovery.img

Where recovery. Img is what you have named your twrp.

Wait o, I just got everything mixed up. I thought you wanted to flash a custom ROM. To flash twrp, download the twrp.img for your device and you run the command.

I downloaded the twrp.img and ran the command..on the command window...it shows success but when I boot into recovery mode I don't see anything TWRP

You need to format data because device is encrypted before you can successfully flash twrp.

Hello fellow members of the Xiaomi universe...I've been trying to flash TWRP...e no gree enter and my bootloader is unlocked...what could be the problem...I also tried older versions..E no gree open when I boot into recovery mode

Your touchscreen is becoming faulty. You need to begin to contemplate changing it. It's only going to get worse. It happened to me. A repairer told me that it normally happens on a screen without screen protector, especially when the screen begins to get direct contact with moisture, water etc.

But I use screen guard all the time.. The longest time I have spent so far without a screen protector was 4 hours I think... I think I got a solution on xda, by turning off Miui optimisation in developer options

Reflash the ROM again then. It should solve the issue.

Yes ma... I did.. I noticed that problem after my last MIUI10 update, after another minor update the problem persisted
