Literature / Re: In The Name Of Love by bakeuhappy: 6:21pm On Aug 19, 2018
[quote author=mcjesuspikin post=69752397]PROLOGUE
I immediately abandoned the clothes I was washing when I heard an(a) high pitched scream from my compound.without being told, I knew it was my mother's voice.my fear increased when I saw people rushing into our compound.i dropped the bucket I was holding and rushed in
Forgive my manners, My name is oluwafemi.I am 10yrs old.I am the first born of my parent(s).My father have(has)two wives, though,my stepmother had no child. I have a younger sister called Boluwatife.but I prefer calling her Tife.i am not just intelligent but also stronger than my age dictate(s).sincerely,i have never love(d) my stepmother for once. Everything about her is odd.she is different.and I felt(feel) she is always up to something.I was washing my clothes when I heard the scream
I rushed inside the parlour and to my surprise, everywhere is filled up. I have to make my way to the center of the parlour and what greeted my eyes was a shocker. My father was lying in a pool of his own blood. I screamed in horror.i made to touch him, but it seems impossible, people were holding me, mum was crying, my sister was staring, neighbors were sympathizing with us,but deep down I new I have lost everything.
For the first time, I heard my mum speak"she has escaped.that bastard.Moyin baye mi je "she keep saying....
Did she just mention Moyin? My step mother did this?
That very minute I knew for sure I will revenge, even if I have to die revenging... I must kill her.
I stormed out of the compound determined to kill Everybody

Tokziby:
I have been facing similar problem and i have had to call them on 3 different occasions to remove me. They usually say i have up to six subscription on my line like learning french, ebooks and stuffs.

My believe is that Airtel are complacent of this scam cos its making money for them. I told them that, how is it possible for pop-ups to have direct access to ur line to the point of deducting ur call credit without Airtel notifying the customer via sms. For any third party to charge ur line, its the responsibility of the line provider to notify for consent either to type YES or NO via sms, in order to know if its a scam or u consent to it.

Since Airtel are not going the extra mile to protect the customer from these scams i believe they should be charged cos thats exposure of personal data to third party without any form of consent.

I will be very happy if we can open a thread specially for these type of scams and we come together to bombard their social media space.

How can someone be sitting in his home, creating an advanced yahoo yahhoo, to be stealing millions of naira per day. angry angry angry and nobody is trying to stop them

I'm with you all the way.. If we can make this post go viral so everyone who has been affected in one way or the other speaks up. .. We can Institute a class action.

Let's put a stop to this..

Business / Re: I Want To Start Selling Snacks In A School. Need Advice by bakeuhappy: 7:35pm On Jan 21, 2018
Zykod:

I don't understand, what is disgrace gotta do with it? It's either you settle with the disgrace of making your legit pay, or deal with the disgrace of not having money in future, your call

Focus on the business climate, 100naira per snack may be high and will reduce possible sales, try to negotiate with a baker to make cheap snacks, 50 naira per piece snacks, puff puff is old school, meat pie is better, it has class, boys will want to buyto impress girls, make it 50naira. Try to collect data and track your earnings.

Do not do Zobo. Don't do what you like to do in business, do what is needful. Zobo exposes you to risk, i.e. spoilage ( especailly with the electricity problems ) The market for getting Zobo ingredients and pastries are not the same, it will force you to make two different trips. I recommend counting Zobo from a producer if you want to do it, otherwise, don't do it.

Focus on pastries :

FISH ROLL - 50 NAIRA

MEAT PIE - 50 NAIRA

Don't do puff puff or bons, focus on attraction, kids want to look cool, so cooler snacks will induce more sales

OUTSOURCE THE PRODUCTION....Or try to make your snacks yourself for the first few weeks, calculate your profit. Later, calculate the profit against the amount you will make if you outsource, this way, you can determine if you'll continue producing yourself or outsource

If you wanna do Zobo, please make sure it's flavored, pineapple flavor in Zobo tastes like life at its best...

Vanilla falvour too ordinary... Strawberry flavour is also nice... But, who knows, start, this is what matters. Like Nike's motto, Just do it. Don't over-deliberate, just start !

I do commend your effort on wanting to sell zobo and puff. puff.. My sincere advice to you don't do fish in d puff puff.. It will be more expensive.

Puff puff as a snack would be very good if you can mix at home and fry in the school provided a space is given to you. The smell of dough frying would definitely bring students your way..
Zobo is good only if youhcan get it chilled to discourage fermentation.
Wish you success in your endeavors..

Car Talk / Re: Imo Black Cab: Innoson Buses Replace Keke In Owerri (Photos) by bakeuhappy: 2:08pm On Dec 14, 2017
B2mario:

What concerns me with Hot.FM discussion? pained oppositions can used a private radios to express their bitterness.

what benefit do you get from criticising another man's state while in your state nothing tangible goes on. So you are trying to tell people here that anambra with Onitsha, Awka and Nnewi is better than Imo with beautiful Owerri, Orlu, Okigwe, Oguta and

What's actually in Anambra, is there free education in anambra, is there any new higher institution in anambra compared to what Rocha's is doing in Imo, is there any airport in your overhyped Anambra, what's the condition of primary and secondary schools in Anambra?

I'm yet to see any meaningful development in Anambra state as you always boost on social media. how many dual carriageways are in Anambra compared to Imo state? no govt presence in Nnewi. Everything there is built by the indigenous people.

pls leave Rochas alone he has done pretty good and his projects are uncountable. Had it been it was in Anambra that all these are going, hmmmm, by now you would have created a forum and be comparing Anambra with the whole of England. Had it been Rochas is from Anambra today would have been converted to Eze Igbo gburugburu.

Even the over politicised statues, had it been it is in Anambra that a governor is bringing other countries presidents and their statues raised, the governor will be seen as an internationally renowned and connected governor who has seen light.

You once claimed here that you are from Imo state but you refer Anambra, pls on what basis?

Oga r u living in IMO state or you hear free education on the mouths of people and believe them.
You need to go to imsu and really verify from its graduating students if free education actually exist..

By the way I'm not in support of free education at the tetiary level..

Students should pay their fees and indigenes should pay a certain percentage of the school fees and such income generated should be used to provide structures, pay salaries and run the school properly.. Even Lagos State that generates very high revenue has not given tuition free in its schools..

Education is the bed rock for any society.. Let's make IMO work.

Abagworo:
While many seem fixated at the manipulation of a good and honorable policy of Imo Government by opposition, the more knowledgeable people understand it is a revolution about to kick-start from Imo State. Tricycles or Keke are mostly imported from Asia and over the last few years Nigerians have imported them in millions while Innoson our own local product was struggling to survive. Behold one of the major advantage of Keke ban in Owerri as Innoson brand buses are about making a boom shaka boom in popularity. Hopefully other Southeastern States and indeed Nigerian States will key in to encourage the growth of our own. In Igbo we say "Nkea bu nke anyi".

Behold the "Imo Black Cab".
oga pls how many of that bus is available in Owerri. U sit in your comfy office posting pictures. The new policy has generated untold hardship...

Cynate:

Which type?
Nigerian way or Chinese way or Western way grin
Now, you are making me feel hungry grin grin
Recipe:
sage, white wine vinegar, herbs de Provencal, olive oil, chicken stock powder, finely grated ginger and garlic, black pepper not cameroun pepper . Soft whole chicken(cut open down the cavity ),
.**wash defrosted chicken with water. Mix all the other ingredients in a big bowl (large enough to hold your chicken and still enter your fridge) put the chicken in the marinate and be sure to rub everywhere and in all cavities.. Allow to marinate overnight.

In the morning pop marinated chicken into the grill and grill turning occasionally and use a brush to brush the remaining marinate on the chicken as you grill
turn occasionally to allow chicken cook thoroughly.

I made a sauce with my remaining marinate by pouring into pot.adding garlic/sliced onion, chopped tomatoes and chopped spring onion.till it's a bit soft and seasoned with only a little salt to served with it.

For the potatoes I peeled and put in d marinate for 5mins to absorb the spices and grilled as well..

If you have further questions pls whatsapp me on 08026555999...i will love to see your beautiful creation for Christmas.
