Okanokan:
Nope! You are not correct, even a Lizard will defeat Buhari in 2019. However, Pdp has capable hands talk of Mallam Shekarau, Gen Aliyu Gusau, Senator Maikarfi, Sule Lamido, Gov Shema, Aliyu Babangida, Nuhu Ribadu and the irrpresible Ayo Fayose(Conscience of the Nation) and a host of others, too numerous to mention here. Buhari and Apc represent the classical case of how not govern a nation.
Joke of the day. Ribadu was not even on the reserve bench last time he contested. Sule Lamido may have being raped twice by 2019 in Jail. Fayose will be writing 10 reasons to vote Buhari by 2019.
Northerners will ask for account also from those Governors you mentioned.
PDP is on a very long thing UNLESS THEY WILL CONVERT TINUBU AND BUHARI TO PDP, they are on to the future impossible.

Stop spreading falsehoods mate. There was no strike when power plummeted to 0MW. Are you saying they went to strike for only 3 hours on that day?

I wonder how you guys get to be at peace with your consciences.
I do not know which day it is you got that mw. It is a well known fact that workers in the power generating, transmission and distribution sector are on strike. Is it not so mister mate?

$ is selling for 320 naira now, it has never happened before in Nigeria.

We generated 0MW of electricity under this regime, it's never happened before.
Point of correction, Electricity workers went on strike and there was no light. Airport workers union in Germany went on strike and Lufthansa could not generate a single seat for departing passengers. Please look at the whole picture and don't misinform other after misleading yourself.

Federal Government is popular workers are paid the salaries all over the federation and vanguard is unhappy. Indeed the Federal Government's gesture buttress the argument that if it were the PDP days there would have been no money by now.

I believe it'll be a combination of Sheriff/Fayose

That's a winning team anytime
sammyj:
Fayose should be tagged as the potential failure of the future. I believe PDP made their usual mistake !! grin shocked grin
The day the PDP selected Sheriff as party chairman was when the made Buhari more popular election wise in the north. The day that party put forward Sheriff and Fayose for the presidency that is when they will lose the west and the east. The Niger Delta will vote depending on Buhari's performance.
Politically and election wise PDP will bury it's head in the send with such a choice. Anyway I think this is a Nairaland thread that ought to be in JOKES.
Politics › Re: Fulani Herdsmen In Awka Town by bakila: 8:51pm On Apr 29, 2016
merahki:
Hi
We heard a tres disturbing news from my village in Igboland yesterday. Farmers are complaining that Fulani cattle take wild romps in their farms, and eat akidi and groundnuts...they no longer feed on grass shocked. This raises the serious concern of hunger/famine among the farming population. These poor subsistence farmers eat these crops. A few sell their extra. What happens when their groundnout and akidi crops form the special diet of cows? shocked
Seriously, we have to leave all pretensions aside, there is serious trouble in this land. Everybody should send word home to our ancestral lands...they would learn that the "golden untouchables" are there, playing with grass and feeding on cocoyam and okro!!! angry
Something needs to be done, and fast.
I am sorry,( really not sorry) but encountering a group of people (different looks, language and lifestyle) in my ancestral home would feel like mind rape to me. For them to live and breed there forever would just be "alu". Really so wrong.
That grazing bill must be shut down
That, or we all must learn a new culture- living without beef...until we can get them around our lands, and not from the Fulani herdsmen.
Okay
Do we not have governors, senators and HORs again? Why the whimpers? Why not roar? Hai!
Una dey farm groundnut?

Damn you wrote a thesis. I have plenty opinions to write, when I am done o will respond if it won't derail the thread
Eluwilussit:
Where have you been hiding my friend? Well, if you think I am wrong, just answer these simple questions: which region controls the forex black market? Which region does most of the importation?

Bakila, this not the time to sound or appear politicallycorrect. If you remember very well, I didn't hide my feelings about Buhari before elections. I pointed out how he favored the north, while trying to cripple the south. He has always being a bigot and has never done anything without bias.

Look at his appointments. What did you say when he made the 95% and 5% comment? Hundreds of Shi'ite muslims were massacred by this government. I didn't hear from you. Agatu was massacred, what did pmb say? Enugu has been on fire, yet the fulani herdmen still roam with their AK47 and nothing concrete is being done.

Pmb banned most of the things ordinary Nigerians use to make ends meet but we are importing grass from Brazil for fulani cattle. Are those cattle owned by FG or the masses? They are owned by some hausa-fulanis. Why should FG use our common resources to provide grazing lands in each state for fulanis and their cattle?
Does the FG provide shops or spaces for other Nigerians to carry out their businesses?

My friend, I don't pretend. I will keep saying it as I see it, till every Nigerian is treated equally. There is no way I will be convinced that the forex palaver is not intended to favour the north at the expense of the rest of the country. Buhari is first a Northern President. He even said that the reason he chose more northerners is because he knows them better and is more comfortable with them. What does that tell you? What does that make him? Is there any national consideration in most things this pmb has done so far?

Please Bakila, don't pretend like all is well in our dear country. It is not. There is so much favoritism, nepotism and bigotry.

What did you say about the Abuja DSS report on Abia and the purported fulani 5? DSS warned Nigerians about killing fulanis but turn the other way when fulanis kill others. Really? The Northern Elders advised pmb to deal ruthlessly with IPOB and massob. Service chiefs are in bayelsa to stop oil vandals but herdsmen roam about with lethal weapons, sacking one village after the other and our dear saint pmb has not addressed the issue.

Don't worry about my sanity. When pmb does something good, I will applaud him. Like in BH case. He has done well. I am also with him in not devaluing the naira. Whether that's the right thing or not, I don't know but I am with him on that.

Abacha never stole from us! Hmmmmm! I am sure you know what I mean. grin

I am done with being politically correct. The truth is the only way we can build true nationalism. Not this hypocrisy and double standard. cry cry cry cry cry

Only a proper follow up of these criminals that will lead to heavy penalty for them will convince the doubting masses that BH is real and that Chibok ain't no scam. If they let them go again like it happened before then I will agree BH was heavily staged n that Chibok girls was a scam.
The new Sheriff in town does not tolerate that. You may end up serving a sentence for capital punishment if anyone let that happens now.

Doyin2:
Stupidity!

How does this court case affect Buhari's focus on the economy.

If you are not aware, you are suffering and paying more now, because we neglected those that squandered our forex reserves and were ''focusing'' on the economy!

The high forex rate is as a result of dwindling forex income and reserves, worsened by high level looting of the treasury!

A lot of people on this forum need thorough education on what real economy is. You cannot fix the economy without fixing corruption(e.g.forgery and looting).Corruption is an integral part of the economy,I challenge any economy expert on this!

It is like telling a driver to keep focus on the windscreen, whilst discrediting the importance of side mirrors or the pedals!

So keep on 'focusing' on the economy whilst the forgers(A forger is a potential looter!) and looters keep on killing the same economy!

NONSENSE!
Bros, in Nigeria some PhDs dont care about such analysis. all they want is some huge accidental income in the region of $1m.

Despite all these evidences, if you still believe the arms scandal is just media propaganda or a witch hunt of the opposition by the Buhari presidency, then I can only pray that God should dash u some sense
You have increased my blood pressure level. To think that when Dasuki was made NSA PDP chap celebrated him to help end BH. Nigerians did not know that they were looking for someone who is seemingly untouchable and hoped that the North will cry witch hunt. Alas he is in detention and Boko Haram's insurgency is coming to an end and the blue-blooded Dasuki is in detention.
Thank God the PDP government was confined to the dustbin.

China is the new power in the world.

The Yuan will replace the Dollar as the premier reserve currency for global trade when it is eventually backed with gold, China has been buying gold like demons for over two years now. Investors will prefer gold backed currency over fiat currency, and this choice will be the death of the petrol dollar.

Nigeria already signed a deal with China for free flow of Yuan into our economy, some of our reserves are already being converted to Yuan, away from Dollar. America allowed Nigeria to sign the deal, didn't they? They are all in cahoots grin

When the time comes, you will see it was a 'timely and most fortuituous' move.

Buhari will be hailed as our Jesus Christ grin

Saraki was truly schooled in the art of the mafia.

Such a corrupt soul is a cancer to any society where they draw breath.

I was in court yesterday and I witnessed cases being heard despite the fact that the A.G Akwa Ibom had matters.
The rules only talk about order of hearing and not that the court must short out other matters until a particular matter is heard in that court. u mean if Saraki's matter takes 1yr, no body will be given right of audience again, just because your people want him to be jailed quickly for challenging Tinubu a.k.a yellow teeth?
It is A G Akwa Ibom's decision. A senior advocate should not mention his matter before him.
