Jerryherd:Thought I was the one who noticed it. Finally doesn't this amount to abuse of using the security outfit? Personally I believe to further compliment security it's long over due to have licensed private security outfits in this country. Where you can pay for your personal protection within the Law. That way all this big people can free up the security agencies to focus on public security. Also allowing private security outfits can close alot of issues. It provide extra security for private individuals, provides employment and increased revenue. Engage the retirees in something meaningful after retirement. Hell we can even have mercenaries of our own. Why not? All that's needed is proper regulations so they are ethical and work with strict guidelines. It's long over due for that abeg the current law enforcement agents are over stretched. Out source some services and allow people pay for more of they want nah! |
Fathai:Fulani don suffer....na Fulani start talk share photos begin comment about issues. Okay I! This fake imagination and lies you are sharing daris God o! |
BeardedMeat:I believe 25million trees in Nigeria means I don't have to go there to start. I can start anywhere just need to join them from where I am. Immediately do something to my own community with there support. Charity begins at home. |
criminalmindz:You are better...don't join them in that assertion. You still have sizable support of northerners ready to support rotation. No need to mix issues and make it Is against them. All this mushroom groups seeking relevance by force need to be ignored in national discuss to move ahead. I stand with Zulum on the matter. Lastly if anything they should focus on calling there bandit siblings to order. If they are influential amongst there kinsmen as they claim then they should start there. That way we know the so called 17mil listens to them. This arrogance needs to stop... |
Nice job ! We can do it. Hope to join you guys soon. Had always wanted to be part of such groups. We need to preserve the environment. |
Nothing is wrong with that. Personally I like the VP. I will gladly vote over BAT or Atikulate anyday anytime. It is also foolish for him to come this close and refuse to take part. It's a rare opportunity that comes to people once in awhile o. VP should just grab it. Otherwise it's over for him. Forget Baba Tinubu jare. I also feel his VP potential is not fully explored. I believe he will make a fine President. Unlike PMB I see him openly dealing with irresponsible heads of organization who fail to deliver. I also feel the VP will be more assertive and hardworking. We feel more of him than even PMB despite his quiet. |
How many passport does he have. The British embassy say they didn't issue him a new passport considering his passport was seized by the Nigerian court during his trial. So which passport we dey talk about. Because both Nigerian and British Passport are in court custody since his trial and bail. Am thinking he used a Biafran passport. Which explain the third passport. We need to hear from the Biafran Ambassador first. Especially as there national was forcefully abducted. |
flamingREED:Yea you did and you also heard him speak English. Also yes some said some Islamic words and all that . They also spoke house. |
OAUTemitayo:Seconded Add X10000000 to that foolish somebody If they don't show up problem. They are speeding to respond timely they crash and you are happy. What kind of evil people exist in this country is rare in the universe. |
hammerDK:Has it also occured to you it may have being done to possibly push you over the edge to act in negatively and open avenues for the further plundering and domination of Africa continent . Otherwise why now. They Britian should also release videos of there adventures and conquest in Africa during colonial occupation. We all need to learn from the past. It's horrific and sad to watch. |
tamdun:Couldn't have said it any differently . War of any sort isn't a solution . It brought tears to my eyes because we as blacks and Africans have never treated ourselves with dignity. My God the kids !!! |
Seniorwriter:Is just like other so called terrorist groups,it depending on the countries. Some may not recognize one nations terrorist as there own problem yet. You can name a group terrorist in your country but globally it may not apply. In short they can run and seek asylum as freedom fighters. Atimes some countries may agree while others may disagree. Point incase the south African - ANC, middle east - Hamas, Columbia - FARC etc. The nation needs to globally convince the world IPOB is violent. Now the concept of UGM/ESN is well played out. It forms a shield for IPOB, distancing IPOB from the violence systematically. So nations may readily say ESN/UGM are violent but not IPOB. Nigeria have to establish the links between them and IPOB to get global acceptance of sort. Hence the car and mouse game of what to call the suspects. Victims,ESN,criminals,UGM etc |
nairalandankrah:One man terrorist na another man freedom fighter... Lastly Abacha was not a fan Mandela. I remember there friction with the then minister of Information Walter Ofonagoro . He said some things that then Gov found offensive. https://www.google.com/amp/s/mg.co.za/article/1997-07-28-mandela-abacha-to-solve-row-personally/%3famp https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.irishtimes.com/news/mandela-seeks-nigerian-apology-1.92739%3fmode=amp South Africa's President, Nelson Mandela, called the executions a "heinous act." https://www.nytimes.com/1995/11/11/world/nigeria-executes-critic-of-regime-nations-protest.html "Mandela to Seek Oil Embargo Against Nigeria Military Regime : Politics: S. ALTERNATEID:You do realize it's easier said when is a southerner and harder to understand or say of it were to be northener. Meaning why not say that southerners want to abolish right to protest as against a senator working in line with northern interest? Because if that was a Northern senator I can bet you the whole thing will read northern ploy to stop freedom to protest etc. |
Ghostlander:How does this better the North? |
From the North I believe it shouldn't be any problem. What matters is the way the seperation happens and how we treat each other during the process and after. If as we all do now, make it driven out hatred and even to go about doing nasty stuff to each other. Then there is every possibility it will become or end ugly. But if we do it through bridge building and mutual understanding .Not with the usual venom thingy all should. Be fine perhaps more documents and taxes will just apply. I believe we are still going to be neighbors after all or do business as fellow Africans/West Africans. I hope when it happens it's done out of understanding and not extreme hatred. Which is even harder to imagine with current happenings . Especially with the animosity brewing between them and others. All the comments , victim ploy, killings and no good wishes to see the end of others maybe what will come about hostile neighbors. I pray for the best sha! Depending on the method properties can be retained at higher cost , friendly terms or hostile terms. All depends what we make of each other at the end. |
festacman:Not only Tompolo even Woke and Asari get problems with MNK like wise MASSOB. I think his ways are rather too extreme . |

baralatie:I personally wonder to. It would seem people are providing civilian cover for criminals anytime government wants to act tough leaving things like say na begging remain....such a country |
That girl was cheated plain and simple. If all this people had this vacancy and yet choose to keep it until after an incident the offer it to help, we are not being fair to ourselves. People shouldn't get me wrong. We appreciate the gesture. But it saddens the heart to think she died seeking an honest job. If she met such people before then, If the government cared about her a little more before then, if the police responded promptly, if there was adequate jobs, security she could have being saved from such horrible death. RIP to departed....We seem to only celebrate the dead now. |
Well it would seem El-Rufai was right after all... The insults and Zoo statements have already started coming in gradually ![]() The Litmus test suggest the assertion is true to an extent. ![]() |
festacman:Couldn't have being said any better .Thank you sir ...With all the power of oversight and impeachment? They should do there work QED |
youngeagle:No slave or master here. As a leader he did his part and it's a start. We can do more. But we should learn not to belittle others effort. It's not easy as people think to manage the complexity in this nation. |
I am from the North and what the VP did atimes is all that is expected from PMB. Listen to the warring communities. Talk, appeal for calm , share there pain and console the communities in grief. Then investigate and set examples of the culprits. We really missed having a president that directly engages the populace or says something to ease the pains on the people. Honestly PMB has not tried in managing the inter-communal violence ,rivalry or suspicions. His silence and careless attitude has made everything seem impossible. Well-done VP....We need more of this problem solving and direct assessment of situations/ community engagements. Atimes it's all that is needed to bring peace. Not everything you stay in Abuja to direct others to act. |
Jerryherd:What if they were on a personal outing of there own seeing a friend or other things none official...you need to look things completely. Your points are too narrow. We find off duty military men in alot of places now a days. They can be out flexing in the wrong places. It could also be them sneaking out to chill. We all know that certain civilian mingle with them. Acting as if na today army dey mingle for streets when off duty, yet in uniform seem rather narrow. This things happen nothing special. The army should just ensure they are not just some unauthorized personal outing. They could also have being sneaking to the wrong places to handle there personal business while still in uniform. Which happens all over naija. Instead of all this let the investigations find the real reasons they are there with or without official permission. |
@op and everyone posting did anyone even notice from the uniform the guy is a policeman and not a military personnel . The crown on his barret, choice of rifle, rank is red color, his shoulder etc... That man is a police man |
hotwax:If you will do well to study the response across the same state? Then the north in general. You will know it's a mixed one in support and against it. Not 100% in support. Just like any other state in the north or south will always have mixed response to decisions good or bad.It is a matter of policy and today he realize he is wrong...and fighting Zamfara Gov. not to make similar mistakes. Now my reaction. When he said that, is simple am not from Kaduna and it's not my business they know what bothers them and just like you, I also read the news and wonder if the decision will make it better or worse. I ask you again how did you arrive at us northerners supporting them ! |
hotwax:Do you think they who speak speak for all northerners. Am not Hausa and neither am I Fulani. Also I have no affiliation with the criminals nor do I have dealings with them. I never asked anyone to speak for me nor did I approve of the group to speak for me. Am from the North true . how do you reconcile that? I love the north and because I am from the North, yes I am offended by your false narrative or accusation. Now if you know the people supporting them you will do well to please mention them and do refer to them. Groups from all regions exist doing what they do best ...be relevant and the slightest and speak without wide consultations. I don't see people act that way other folks when the call for similar things. In such instance the narrative remains such a group did or said whilst if a single northerner says something it's the entire north that should be accountable! We need to get things straight. That is you are wrong to do that. Different groups or entity can say things but that doesn't mean they speak for all. It maybe the views of there members only. So just stop all this your wrong belief that because some people come together and talk they speak for all us. |
hotwax:Again your points speak to how all Nigerians behave to others within Nigeria. You want northerners to apologise for the criminal acts of some criminals because they are of northern extract! Why should any Northerner take responsibility for the action of a criminal? Because such narrative is typical of what facilitate the divide and justify people killing others. Trying to hold the entire people responsible is rather misguided of you. I did not commit the crime and I owe you no apology.Shouldn't it be that who ever commits a crime should answer for his crime. Why should you hold me accountable for something I did not commit? As much as the actions and inactions of some people is destroying and hurting what we do or like does not mean you have a right to point another law abiding folk and accuse him of the crime. It is simply wrong. Any suggestions it's fair to do that, simply makes you no different from the people you accuse. We all need to learn that blaming everybody or generalizing at the slightest causes more harm and distraction instead of fostering unity of purpose or really focusing on the said culprits and making them pay for there bad deeds. Our collective recent actions obviously hasn't help the situation but made it worse. We cant solve anything by always trying to compound it or playing the card of THEM against US. We need to emphasis the need to arrest or tackle the specific culprits responsible for the crime. As it is now the criminals are still out there, while we have destroyed alot that is good. What we all built over time, just for a few criminals in our midst. If anything the criminals got away. Now law abiding folks suffer or have succeeded in turning it into a regional issue that threatens alot more Instead of dealing with the actual cause. I bet by what we do and continue to do hlet the criminals escape and still roam freely doing more bad deeds. We all need focus and stop all this collective name calling and antagonizing of regions. Because the criminals survive better in the current state of lawlessness. Lastly out government has failed us and I have never being disappointed with the state of affairs as it is now. We can all do better. |
meccuno:It remains a fact that all this majority tribe are the same. Be it Hausa,Igbo or Yoruba. When ever they blame the other it's because they are short changed and not because of being fair or just. |
