Issue of infidelity and of a violent domestic consequence has suddenly Turn to another issue. No be everyday we dey hear none BH civilians and security agent kill there lovers for this country so over suspected infidelity! Nawa sha....his crime is not one against the army or state or that of terrorism its one that is domestic and has led to the death of lover over suspected infidelity and that's the entire story. Thank God he is arrested. Let the victim get justice . Is not every disappoint men should resort to killing women you can peacefully part ways. No need for acid or violence against them |

BeeBeeOoh: Keep it coming . the nation shall have security whether they like it or not. Any deluded violent miscreant and troublemaker should be dealt with squarely. Also good one from the military and security agency. The psychological war is another good strategy to deter , inform and win support. Keep the pressure and change the narrative especially with the plenty people in Nigeria that often prefer bad news over positive news. I don't care who is in power as long as they are Nigerian and we get result . Nice one DHQ, Nice one FGN and Good people of Nigeria!!! Long live Nigeria. |

Frigga13: When was the censor conducted to arrive at the conclusion? Also you can't speak for both ethnic group. I doubt Northerners have problems with him so don't drag them into it. Some folks may have had some issues with him does not translate to the entire ethnic group. I prefer him Wike to the past northern FCT minister even as a northerner . Wike is doing alot within a short period in office. Wike is doing very well in closing out projects across the FCT with evident results. So keep your fight to the business fellows and if you most pick and ethnic fight its best you speak for only your ethnic group and leave others out especially where you know nothing about them. 2 Likes |

Politics / Re: Will Igbo Ppl Forgive Northers If They Take D Presidency by Bakinwuta(f): 12:32pm On Feb 18 |
Quality20: Start by speaking for yourself. Also the same mistake the generals may have done is the same mistake you are doing to think we have anything to apologize about or to think we are collectively guilty. I have live well with my Igbo or southern brothers enough to be proud I owe none of them an apology and If any i will meet the person and do that. If you have offended them as you dey, do the right thing confess your own atrocity or sin and seek forgiveness for yourself. Start by doing that and let others who know they have done same seek forgiveness if at all any. Also when will they too seek forgiveness for crimes they may have committed ? Abi you mean they are spotless? Show me an angel! If you have a problem with them go sort yourself and stop being a coward that hides under the guise of being a so called "NORTHERS" to spew crap and try to spin tales by moonlight. If they win or anybody wins so be it. Its only someone that does not have fear of the almighty God, that fears a human being. It's but a time all will come to past. The ones in power are they directly related to your family and how have they directly impacted your life? So there is nothing new here. Its democracy and people have a God given right to vote anyone they so please and over time improve on it . Which is the beauty of democracy. It allows legitimate time limits and choice to vote for or against. Whoever i vote is my business not a crime and you had your choice. Unless you are sour loser you should understand people did there part and voted what they thought is best regardless. It was not that they voted to destroy anything. All candidates were eligible and duly presented to the citizens by law. The people voted according to what they desire. Because you lost doesn't make you right. Never forget that even that your candidate has not being tested with the same position and situation for us to tell what he will do right. So don't come here and make it a crime they participated and voted for there choice of an eligible candidate. |
Politics / Re: How Villagers Hid Guns After We Killed Terrorists – Defence Chief by Bakinwuta(f): 12:09am On Feb 05 |
matify83: Even this doesn't add up. The same resource you deployed to track and engage was not used to monitor the zone and ensure the impact ? So they mean no surveillance remaining to even monitor if the enemy were massing up again to rescue, regroup to ambush or recover bodies/guns? The army will then proceed to advance and get attacked from the rear. I would have thought you will keep surveillance until troops arrive to assess the impact. Abi once they bomb they withdraw all air asset which sounds confusing and very unprofessional. 2 Likes 1 Share |

J3susFr3ak: I can sight examples to dispute your claims. But am sure you know better than what you state above. Unless you haven't followed or being in Plateau long enough. That said am not here for the pretence or about taking sides. You are all a violent lot is what am saying that breed hate, incite and even commit lots of violence on both sides. You will pretend you want peace but you prefer the total annihilation of the other. If you choose to remain in pretence or denials. All I say is look back how far you come and tell yourself if peace closer now or further. You have fought for the last 20years attack and attack. If one goes quiet another starts. Someday you will come around to realizing. The sooner its realized the better. I used to live in Plateau but over time I had to leave. I witness it change from a loving, peaceful place to that of violence and hate. Yes when that happened Muslims and Christians dey and all other tribes dey. So if then it was possible what changed suddenly. That same people now turn wicked and violent? One state so filled with lots of instigated unemployed religious fanatics ready to destroy life and property. Anyways I wish una well and hope you all realize sooner that violence begets more violence. That you will fight tire and still someday come back to realize you failed to wipe out each other. |
Politics / Re: Mangu Crisis And The Dearth Of Truth by Bakinwuta(f): 12:13pm On Jan 25 |
Saifullah01: The folks in Plateau have been bred for the last 25years or so ti despise and hate each other. The economic angle is just an after thought. The incitement has existed alot longer and has snow balled into what it is. There is no peace because hating, inciting and plotting against each other has become the new normal. Lies and conspiracy theory thrive. So called leaders that call for fairness or peace are often regraded as traitors of the group. They will pretend in the open and plot in secrecy. As it pertains to Plateau Violence and carnage . Just hold political leaders, religious leaders , various militia/youth groups and tribal leaders in Plateau accountable for the lack of peace . Acting as if its loop sided or one is the victim is just being naive. They are all killers and destroyers willing to devour there opponents innocent or guilty o! You can smell the hatred when you are around them without the pretence. Peace and love is far from them. 1 Like |

dangermouse: leave plateau state matters. They all lie a lot and exaggerate things . Because more often than not they seek to spill blood on both sides. They hate each other and it's a continuous battle. When you hear a side lament its because they probably went hunting for there rival and got intercepted by security agents or they plan and mobilize for heavy destruction and didn't succeed. They always would prefer to kill each other to extinction. I say this Plateau has become a breeding ground for religious extremist of the two beliefs. If you doubt remove the presence and smoke screen all you will find is hatred to the brink. They always will incite and organize to carry out massacres. All side have militia in Plateau and they all have being responsible for one carnage or massacre. So leave the pretence. If there is a curfew how come they were killed outside? The other day I saw a video of people trying to destroy Muslim communities and they too were calling for government fairness and help. In another video same Muslims were claiming the Army and police were support Christians to destroy there property and shooting at them. So all I can say is if a curfew exists for 24hrs what brought you out to get shot. obviously they are part of a stubborn group hell bent in more trouble. That stat is a mess and they know it. Lies and deceit won't solve it. Also both faiths have come to stay and can't be extinguished from the Plateau. Make una find peace in the Plateau |

Otherwise you have your case crash in court. FGN has done good so far suspending her to allow fair and independent investigations. The security is doing his job. It doesn't matter who as anybody especially close people fit be the enemy. Also when you grab or hold the president anywhere too tightly or for long durations chances are high the bodyguards step in to break the hold. It could be seen as a treat. So the way he is grabbing the presidents hand tightly with two hands not giving him an option could be seen as such. The president reassuring the bodyguard its fine its another thing. The guy is just doing his job professionally. The president appreciates that, hence the tap to let him know am fine with it. No harm there. They are trained to perceive and react quickly. So It's almost by his instinct, no harm intended. Because if something go wrong now we no go hear word. Let's not forget Cesar it was close allies that murdered the Roman general on the floor to the senate. Other such cases Brazil where the former president was stabbed by someone in his group of supporters or the former Italian president who was punched from the crowd. Being vigilant and cautious in such regards is not a crime. Afterall he did not assault him Okoya. He only tried to gently get him to release the prolong hold. 5 Likes |

Penguin2: I would think its a terrible mistake to intimidate Soludo. He is entitled to his opinions. Lets not be doing all this to divergent views and positions. That's why democracy is different. You can't have everyone onboard supporting a candidate. People are free to pick sides and support anybody of there choice. They are also allowed to voice there opposition to policies and candidates. Soludo is free to air his opinion and support any candidate regardless. He did not commit a crime for doing that. It's worth noting that other none Igbo people similarly oppose there own to pick Obi and support . Nobody harasses them like that. They are entitled to express there God given right and freedom to speak in support of the political process. People should learn to accept and respect peoples free opinions. Free that man abeg. It's not by force to like a candidate. You win some you lose some across board. 2 Likes 1 Share |

chizidgreat: .Am not an Atiku fan. But how do you then explain Ekweremadu's arrest in UK especially when talking about diplomatic immunity . Forget all this matter. If they had wanted to arrest him the guy for don cast never the less. After all it's not an official function they are doing there. Lastly during Obj tenure a senator was equally arrested in Saudi, despite the diplomatic card. it took serious intervention plus threats to get him out. Also if they truly wanted him arrested just like Abba Kyari an extradition request would have being made. The pressure would have being in place to get him to USA. They don't have to wait until he visits. Also he has traveled to other USA friendly nations they could equally have asked for his extradition from there should incase Naija is not willing . Case in point the UAE, Dubai. Hush puppi comes to mind. Dem never ready yet or have not officially request his presence to answer for charges yet. His so called accomplice his Ex-wife Jenifer still strolls around freely not a single jail term. 4 Likes |

TrackerXL: Try to have sense and be civil no reason for insults. Facts on the ground ain't like before. I am a living witness I supported him and many people around me supported and voted him. Today most of us wish he never won. PMB didn't do well and he took the North for granted. He didn't solve the critical problems facing the north. You can sample opinions and seeing how his popularity has dwindled I have seen staunch supports suddenly resort to insulting him. I won't go to that extent but right now PMB ain't as popular in the North anymore. You are free to believe whatever. |
Politics / Re: Plateau Youths Boo Simon Lalong With The Shouts Of “obidient”. (video) by Bakinwuta(f): 9:06pm On Sep 26, 2022 |
tctrills: Yes but his vote was more a vote driven as rotational arrangement within the state. Jang represented the Beroms/Biroms. A tribe that are a single majority group in Plateau but a minority if all other minority groups come together . Now Jang wanted his dynasty to continue through a cousin and the other ethnic groups felt the Berom agenda was getting out of hand with so many bias by the ruling Berom and they wanted them out hence the joint effort to give Lalong or any other apart from a Berom. If not Plateau is hard core PDP state I remember the Pauline Tallen campaign and how she was tagged a Muslim candidate. She was voted against by her fellow Christian despite doing well amongst Muslims votes and in her immediate constituency. So again all you need to drive a wedge in Plateau is religion vs tribe not party. A take home is once the Christians go one way the Muslims will go the other. It's always there way of showing distain for the other. That's my point no matter how they pretend they just dislike each other that much. |

People still don't understand some actions and it's placement when in comes to state politics. Plateau is one state with religious intolerance high in it's daily life. While some people support an individual the other near half the population will be against regardless. Plateau is like a case of "word & Opposite" such that if one side like's something the other half will always be against it . That's how they are now and that's how people will be led to vote based on it. In Plateau Christians always vote there own and Muslims there own. Nothing new in that state will change due to the string religious and tribal intolerance. Expecting anything different is just being naive. |
Politics / Re: Can The North Vote Apc Without Buhari On The Ballot? by Bakinwuta(f): 11:29am On Sep 24, 2022 |
If you want to know . Even with PMB the north may vote against APC . Because at the moment more and more Northerners have lost complete hope in PMB. They now see him as failing to fix any of the problems but even making it worse. PMB may have his hardliners, but his support base has reduced compared to the past. APC will have to be careful how they ride on his popularity because there are more northerners now that despise him and see him as a very bad leader. APC is better off distancing themselves from him. Especially where he hasn't shown any leadership quality or sensitivity to the plight and condition of as regards insecurity in the NW, NC and some part of the NE. Also the rising cost of living is biting hard. People still find it hard to farm due to insecurity and no jobs. There main stay which is agriculture is already threaten by insecurity and displacement. APC has a long road ahead. . 2 Likes |

Giidgiddy: Azikiwe (aka Zik of Africa) did not screw up anything. Everything was fine until Nzeogwu and Ironsi screwed it up. All regions of the country operated almost independent of the centre and developed at there own pace. While he led, Igbos still led the Nigeria in most areas. What happened was someone in the name of Nzeogwu and gang got messed up and started a coup and later ignited a civil war. A coup that saw the Igbos lose alot and politically lost the place people like Azikiwe built for them in the helm of things. Ironsi had a chance to right the wrong but as an opportunist, he decided to creat more problems by removing the regional autonomy the zones enjoyed. Even further nationalizing things to a fault. So spare Zik this propaganda and face the right culprits. Zik was for Africa and not some village boy or dumb ass. He worked for Africa not even Nigeria and was a man of peace. A tree does not make a forest .Your continued effort to spite people that represented peace for Africans will not make you better than this great leaders. They are way ahead of you in grace and legacy. They will be studied and remembered. Folks like the Op and you on the other hand have only caused more hate, destruction and disharmony on to others. Nobody wants to remember people like you. Except to warn people what to avoid in the future. None of you can achieve what Zik of Africa achieved, so spare the elders. They had there time and It is your time. To be frank you are all doing a terrible job and a mess of it that nobody will want to remember you. 3 Likes 1 Share |
