PoliticsMan Allegedly Rapes Pregnant Woman While She Was In Labour by balash(op): 8:32am On Nov 24, 2016
A woman in Hull, East Yorkshire has accused her boyfriend of raping her after she began going into labour in their bedroom at home.
According to the Daily Mail, the woman was allegedly on her hands and knees in order to try and relieve the pain from her contractions when her husband woke up and saw her. He then allegedly claimed he was “Hot” before proceeding to rape her, even though she repeatedly asked him to stop and was screaming from the pain. After the attack occurred, the woman alleges that her partner “acted as if nothing happened” and offered to run her a bath.
A few hours later, she gave birth to their son at a hospital.
During the court proceedings on Wednesday, the woman’s lawyer Michael Greenlaugh went into further detail of what allegedly happened on the evening the rape occurred.
“She was in bed, naked as she normally would be,” he said. “In order to try and relieve the pressure and the pain of the contractions, she got onto all fours because she had been told that was a way of relieving the pain.”
The prosecutor went on to state that she was in this position when her boyfriend woke up, and declare he was aroused — to which she responded, “Are you serious?” He then allegedly got behind her and began to rape her, despite the fact she was “crying in pain from the contractions” and said to him “please don’t.”
After their child was born, the Daily Mail reports that the woman went to stay with her mother due to a heating problem at the couple’s home. When she returned to the home and the scene of the alleged attack, and saw that her boyfriend was acting in an “inappropriate way” with their child, she decided to report the incident to police.
Meanwhile, the woman’s boyfriend plans to fight her allegations in court, and claims he is not guilty and does not remember having intercourse with her.

CrimeProphet Sprays Followers With Insect Killer by balash(op): 11:07pm On Nov 21, 2016
A self-styled prophet in South Africa on Monday defended spraying his followers in the face with insect killer saying the practice healed people of their sins.
Photographs of Lethebo Rabalago spraying “Doom” aerosol on volunteers during his church service at the weekend in Limpopo, in the northwest of the country, spread fast on social media.
“Some people came with injuries but we sprayed them and they were healed,” pastor Rabalago, 24, told the Times Live website.
“No one inspired me. I just believe in God for anything.”
Rabalago — quickly dubbed the “Prophet of Doom” — said he was “glorifying God” by spraying his congregation at the Mount Zion General Assembly (MZGA) church.
“Everything here on Earth belongs to God. Petrol belongs to God. Doom belongs to God,” he said.

Brand Tigers, which manufactures the well-known household spray, issued a statement calling on Rabalago to halt his ritual healing, calling it “alarming and extremely concerning”.
“(We) want to make it very clear that it is unsafe to spray Doom Super Multi-Insect Killer… into people’s faces,” it said.
“The packaging has very clear instruction and health warnings for humans which must be adhered to.”
Brand Tigers added that anyone affected should wash their hands and face, avoid inhaling and seek medical attention.
Photographs from the MZGA showed several women, with their eyes tightly closed, being sprayed in the face by Rabalago.
The pastor said no one was injured, but declined to say how many devotees attend his church or how many were healed.

It's part of the ladies ways of looking beautiful and it has nothing to do with their beliefs, as far as when the time for solaat comes up they get them all cleaned up and go pray to their creator.

His full name was Abū Ḥāmid Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Ghazālī and he is most highly regarded for his amazing magnus opus “Revival of the Religious Sciences”. Through this work he delivered an amazing and much needed revival not only in the minds of Muslim intellectuals but in the lives of common Muslims as well. His works are translated in numerous languages and he still holds the prime position of a great scholar in Muslim intellectual tradition.

1. Declare your jihad on thirteen enemies you cannot see – Egoism, Arrogance, Conceit, Selfishness, Greed, Lust, Intolerance, Anger, Lying, Cheating, Gossiping and Slandering. If you can master and destroy them, then will be ready to fight the enemy you can see. – Imam Ghazali Quotes

2.Do not allow your heart to take pleasure with the praises of people, nor be saddened by their condemnation. – Imam Ghazali Quotes

3. To get what you love, you must first be patient with what you hate. – Imam Ghazali Quotes

Today all of them are turned to dust. They have left orphans and widows behind them, their wealth is being wasted, and their houses turned into ruins.

No sign of them is left today, and they lie in dark holes underneath the earth.

Picture their faces before your mind’s eye and ponder. – Imam Ghazali Quotes

8. Half of disbelief in Allah in the world is caused by people who make religion look ugly due to their bad conduct and ignorance

9. Neglect not your time, nor use it haphazardly; on the contrary you should bring yourself to account. Structure your litanies and other practices during each day and night. This is how to bring about the spiritual blessing (baraka) in each period. 10. When you have a bad suspicion about a Muslim in your heart, you should increase your consideration toward him and make dua for him. This way you will infuriate Satan and will be able to drive him away. Because of this, Satan will be reluctant to put evil thoughts into your heart, afraid that you would increase your consideration towards your brother and will make dua for him again. – Imam Ghazali Quotes

11. O youth…….be assured that knowledge alone does not strengthen the hand……Though a man read a hundred thousand scientific questions and understood them or learned them, but did not work with them—They do not benefit him except by working…..Knowledge is the tree, and working is its fruit; and though you studied a hundred years and assembled a thousand books, you would not be prepared for the mercy of Allah the Exalted except by working. – Imam Al Ghazali Quotes

The one who is truly a slave to Allah is the one who is content with Allah as his Lord, Islam as his religion, and Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as his Prophet, and he does not hesitate, or seek people’s advice, or consult them, with regard to anything that Allah commands him to do:

“It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error”

[al-Ahzaab 33:36].

Abu’z-Zinaad (may Allah have mercy on him) said in al-Faqeeh wa’l-Mutafaqqih (1/222):

What is prescribed as Sunnah is not to be contested, and should not be subjected to personal opinions. If people did that, no day would pass without them moving from one religion to another. Rather it should be adhered to and followed, regardless of whether it is in accordance with one’s opinion or otherwise. Indeed what is prescribed as Sunnah, and many other aspects of the truth, may often differ with one’s opinion, but the Muslims have no alternative but to follow them and submit to them. End quote.

Muhammad ibn Nasr al-Mirwazi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

Whoever follows the religion of Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), let him accept what he brought, whether it is in accordance with his opinion or otherwise, and let him not develop any doubts about anything he said, because doubt about the words of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) constitutes disbelief.

End quote from Ta‘zeem Qadr as-Salaah

This is the greatness of Allah’s way of disciplining those who believe in Him, and is a warning from Him to them lest the following of His religion be based on whims and desires and personal interests. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“They (hypocrites) say: ‘We have believed in Allah and in the Messenger (Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)), and we obey,’ then a party of them turn away thereafter, such are not believers.

And when they are called to Allah (i.e. His Words, the Qur’an) and His Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), to judge between them, lo! a party of them refuse (to come) and turn away.

But if the right is with them, they come to him willingly with submission.

Is there a disease in their hearts? Or do they doubt or fear lest Allah and His Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) should wrong them in judgement. Nay, it is they themselves who are the Zalimoon (polytheists, hypocrites and wrong-doers, etc.).

The only saying of the faithful believers, when they are called to Allah (His Words, the Quran) and His Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), to judge between them, is that they say: ‘We hear and we obey.’ And such are the prosperous ones (who will live forever in Paradise).

And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), fears Allah, and keeps his duty (to Him), such are the successful ones”

[an-Noor 24:47-52].

Shaykh as-Sa ‘di (may Allah have mercy on him) said in his commentary on the verses quoted above:

Here Allah, may He be exalted, tells us about the situation of the wrongdoers, those in whose hearts is a disease, weakness of faith, hypocrisy, doubt or lack of knowledge. They speak words and make a show of commitment to faith and obedience to Allah, but then they do not act in accordance with what they say. Some of them turn away significantly from obedience, based on the fact that Allah says here: “then a party of them turn away”. The one who turns away may have the intention of coming back to that from which he turned away, but in this case what is referred to is the one who turns away and does not turn back at all, and does not look at that from which he is turning away. You will find that this is applicable to many of those who claim to believe in Allah and be obedient to Him, but they are weak in faith; you will find that they do not do many acts of worship, especially those that are hard for many people, such as giving zakâh, spending in ways that are obligatory or recommended, jihad in Allah’s cause, and so on.

“And when they are called to Allah (i.e. His Words, the Qur’an) and His Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), to judge between them” that is, if an issue arises between them and someone else where a judgement is required, and they are called to the judgement of Allah and His Messenger,

“lo! a party of them refuse (to come) and turn away”, seeking the rulings of the time of ignorance, and preferring the rulings of man-made laws over the rulings of sharia, because they know that they are in the wrong and that sharia only judges on the basis of what really is the case.

“But if the right is with them, they come to him” that is, they come to the ruling of sharia

“willingly with submission” but that is not because it is the ruling of sharia; rather that is because it coincides with their whims and desires. So they are not doing anything praiseworthy in this case, even if they come willingly, because the one who is a slave of Allah in a true sense is the one who follows the truth whether he likes it or not, whether it suits him or not. As for the one who follows sharia when it coincides with his whims and desires and rejects it when it does not, and gives precedence to his whims and desires over sharia, he is not a slave of Allah in a true sense.

Allah says, criticising them for turning away from the ruling of sharia:

“Is there a disease in their hearts?” that undermines the healthy state of the heart and removes common sense, so that he becomes like a sick person who turns away from that which will benefit him and turns towards that which will harm him?

“Or do they doubt” and that has made them anxious about the ruling of Allah and His Messenger, so that they accused him of not judging in accordance with the truth?

“or fear lest Allah and His Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) should wrong them in judgement?” That is, are they afraid that an unfair and unjust ruling will be passed against them? Rather that is how they are, “Nay, it is they themselves who are the Zalimoon (polytheists, hypocrites and wrong-doers, etc.)”. As for the ruling of Allah and His Messenger, it is based on the utmost justice and is in accordance with wisdom. “And who is better in judgement than Allah for a people who have firm Faith?” [al-Maa’idah 5:50].

These verses indicate that faith is not just words, unless those words are accompanied by action. Therefore the one who turns away from obedience has no faith. It is obligatory to submit to the ruling of Allah and His Messenger in all cases, and if a person does not submit to that ruling, this is indicative of a disease in his heart and weakness in his faith. It is forbidden to think negatively of the rulings of sharia or to think that they are contrary to justice and wisdom.

Having described the condition of those who turn away from the rulings of sharia, Allah now describes the condition of the praiseworthy believers:

“The only saying of the faithful believers” that is, the true believers whose deeds confirm their faith, when they are called to Allah and His Messenger so that he may judge between them, whether that is in accordance with their whims and desires or otherwise,

“is that they say: ‘We hear and we obey’” that is, we hear the ruling of Allah and His Messenger, we respond to that to which he called us, and we obey him completely, without any reservation.

“And such are the successful ones (who will live forever in Paradise)” it is only they who will be successful, because success means attaining what is sought and being saved from what one fears, and no one will succeed except the one who refers to Allah and His Messenger for judgement, and obeys Allah and His Messenger.

Having mentioned the virtue of obedience with regard to the rulings in particular, Allah now mentions the virtue of obedience in general terms, in all situations:

“And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger” by believing in what they say and complying with their commands,

“fears Allah” that is, fear accompanied by knowledge, so he refrains from what is forbidden to him and restrains himself from following whims and desires. Hence Allah says, “and keeps his duty (to Him)” by refraining from that which is prohibited, because keeping one’s duty to Allah (taqwa) – when it is mentioned in general terms – includes doing what is enjoined and refraining from what is forbidden. When this is mentioned alongside righteousness or obedience – as in this case – it is interpreted as referring to warding off the punishment of Allah by refraining from disobeying Him.

“such” namely those who combine obedience to Allah, obedience to His Messenger, fear of Allah and mindfulness of Him

“are the triumphant ones” as they will be saved from the punishment, because they avoided the causes that lead to that, and they will attain reward, because they did that which leads to it. So triumph is theirs alone. As for those who were not like that, they will miss out on triumph, according to what they failed to attain of these praiseworthy characteristics.

End quote from Tafseer as-Sa‘di

Remember that your time in this world is very short, and no one knows when his time will be up. So it is better to prepare to meet Allah with that which is pleasing to Him, not with that which incurs His wrath and anger.

Remember that the Shaytaan is constantly urging you to procrastinate and delay, until there comes to you that which will prevent you from obeying Allah, for he has devoted all his efforts to tempt people and he will never miss any opportunity to deprive the believer of virtue, and he is always watching out for such opportunities. Therefore one of the early generations said: Beware of saying “I will…” for it is one of the troops of Iblees!

Hijab is an honour and a source of pride for the Muslim woman, but over and above all that, it is a means of attaining mercy and divine pleasure. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e., screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful”

[al-Ahzaab 33:59].

Do not think little of that piece of cloth, for it hides behind it purity, chastity, good manners and etiquette. It is the practice of the Mothers of the believers and the righteous women; it is the practice of Khadeejah, Faatimah, ‘Aa’ishah, Hafsah, Umm Salamah, and all the righteous, devout women who guard that which Allah would have them guard.

It pains us greatly to see crowds of girls hastening to display themselves and take off their hijab, not one of them paying any attention to good manners of feeling shy before people, not hesitating to display their charms and show their adornments, going against the natural characteristic of modesty that Allah has instilled in women, but because the Shaytaan makes that fair-seeming to them, they are able to do that.

After that, is there any reason to feel too shy to wear hijab or niqab? Can we approve of the situation in which those who commit sin do so openly and audaciously, whereas those who seek to obey Allah feel shy about their acts of obedience, their chastity and their purity?

Have the commands of Allah becomes so insignificant in our minds that we subject them to the whims and desires of the people and their views?

The first and most important step in wearing hijab is to be convinced that it is obligatory, and to submit to the command of Allah as something unavoidable. The believing woman does not have any choice about it, for Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error”

[al-Ahzaab 33:36].

Then you should train yourself to ignore people’s stares and comments, because pleasing people is a goal that you can never attain, and the one who watches people’s reactions will die of worry. Rest assured that Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, will be pleased with you for your obedience, and He can see what you are faced with in your efforts to follow the straight path, and He will grant you ease after hardship.

The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever seeks to please Allah by incurring the wrath of the people, Allah will suffice him and will protect him from the people, but whoever seeks to please people by incurring the wrath of Allah, Allah will leave him to the people.”

Narrated by at-Tirmidhi (2414); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in as-Silsilah as-Saheehah (2311)

‘Aa’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) wrote this hadith in a letter to Mu‘aawiyah, after he asked her for advice, and she wrote to him again and said: To proceed: fear Allah, for if you fear Allah, He will suffice you against the people, but if you fear the people, they will not avail you at all before Allah. Wa’s-salaam.

Remember that the individual’s destiny is connected to his deeds, and that when the people carry him to his grave, and throw the dust onto his body, he will never find anything to comfort him except his righteous deeds, for he will be cut off from all means at that time, except the means that connect him to the Creator, may He be glorified and exalted. So let each of us prepare for that momentous Day.

Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“That Day shall a man flee from his brother,

And from his mother and his father,

And from his wife and his children.

Everyman, that Day, will have enough to make him careless of others”

[‘Abasa 80:34-37].

And He, may He be glorified, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Friends on that Day will be foes one to another except Al-Muttaqoon (the pious)”

[az-Zukhruf 43:67].

So beware of being among the heedless, and beware of procrastination and delay; hasten to do good before it is too late, for this world is only a few transient days and its joys are fleeting. We ask Allah to guide us and you, and to make us steadfast in this world and the Hereafter.

With regard to non-Muslims, there is nothing wrong with treating them kindly on condition that they are not among those who are fighting us because of our religion or seeking to drive us from our homes, because Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Allah does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion and did not drive you out of your homes. Verily, Allah loves those who deal with equity.”

[al-Mumtahanah 60:8].

The Muslim will be rewarded for treating these people kindly. Allah, may He be exalted, stated that one of the attributes of the righteous, who are the people of Paradise, is (interpretation of the meaning):

“And they give food, in spite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to Miskin (poor), the orphan, and the captive”

[al-Insaan 76:8]

–       and the captive cannot be anything other than a non-Muslim.

Qataadah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

“And they give food, in spite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to Miskin (poor), the orphan, and the captive”

[al-Insaan 76:8]

–       Allah has enjoined kind treatment of captives, and the captives at that time would have been mushrikeen (polytheists).

See: Tafseer at-Tabari, 10/8364

An-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said in al-Majmoo‘ (6/237):

If you give charity to an evildoer or to a non-Muslim such as a Jew, a Christian or a Magian, that is permissible and there will be reward for that in general terms. The author of al-Bayaan said: as-Saymari said: The same applies with regard to a non-Muslim who is in a state of war with the Muslims. The evidence for that is the verse in which Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “And they give food, in spite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to Miskin (poor), the orphan, and the captive” [al-Insaan 76:8], and it is well known that the captive would be a non-Muslim who was in a state of war with the Muslims. End quote.

And Allah knows best.

IslamMiraculous Aspects Of The Holy Qur’an by balash(op): 7:23am On Nov 18, 2016
Praise be to Allah

By His wisdom, Allah, may He be exalted, never sent any Messenger except He gave him signs to prove his truthfulness and the soundness of his message. Each of the previous Prophets was sent only to his own people, and his call was not for all of mankind and was not to abide until the Day of Resurrection. Therefore Allah gave them tangible signs, and whoever saw them would believe in them, then whoever heard of these signs among the generations who came soon afterwards, would also believe in them. Then when the reports of them faded away, Allah sent another Prophet with other signs, and so on, such as the signs of Moosa and ‘Eesa (peace be upon them).

But the case of our Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is different from that of all the other Prophets, for He is the Seal of the Prophets, and there is no prophet after him; his call is for all of the jinn and mankind, and is to abide until the Day of Resurrection. So it was appropriate that his greatest sign, that proves his sincerity and truthfulness, should abide until the Day of Resurrection, preserved by Allah and protected from change and alteration, to establish proof against the stubborn and be believed in by those of sound hearts. So the greatest sign of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is the Holy Qur’an, along with what Allah also gave him of visible signs, such as the splitting of the moon and so on.

Concerning that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There is no Prophet but he was given signs because of which people believed in him. That which I have been given is revelation that Allah has revealed to me, and I hope that I will have the greatest number of followers on the Day of Resurrection.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (7274).

What this means is that the Holy Qur’an is the greatest of the signs given to the Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). It is a miracle in the utmost sense of the word; in other words, it is beyond people, and is in fact beyond the jinn and mankind, to produce anything like it. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Say: ‘If mankind and the jinn were together to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another”

[al-Isra’ 17:88].

Allah, may He be exalted, challenged them to produce the like thereof, or to produce just ten soorahs like its soorahs, or to produce a single soorah only, like its soorahs, even if it was like the shortest soorah that does not take up more than a single line, such as Soorat al-Kawthar or Soorat al-Ikhlaas, and the like.

Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Or they say, ‘He (Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) forged it (the Qur'an).’ Say: ‘Bring you then ten forged Soorahs (chapters) like unto it, and call whomsoever you can, other than Allah (to your help), if you speak the truth!’”

[Hood 11:13]

“And if you (Arab pagans, Jews, and Christians) are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Qur’an) to Our slave (Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)), then produce a Soorah (chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides Allah, if you are truthful”

[al-Baqarah 2:23].

Allah, may He be exalted, has truthfully told us that they will never be able to do any such thing, as He says (interpretation of the meaning):

“But if you do it not, and you can never do it, then fear the Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers”

[al-Baqarah 2:24].

For more than fourteen hundred years, the enemies of the Qur’an have been trying to meet this challenge, which is still valid and still stands, and the Qur’an keeps telling them that their religions are false and that they are regarded as foolish, and it warns them of the Fire. This means that they have had a motive to produce something like it – namely the motive to prove the Qur’an to be false and their desire to show it to be false before people.

There is nothing to stop them from doing that, and there is nothing to prevent them from speaking or writing or responding to this challenge.

Yet despite all that, we have never heard of anyone among them – and they number in the billions, and include eloquent and well-spoken people, literati, writers, scholars and the like…

But we have never heard of anyone among them who accepted this challenge and was able to produce even a single line like the shortest soorah of the Holy Qur’an… Apart from a few miserable attempts made by some of the eloquent Arabs, which caused them to become a laughing stock among their own people before they became a laughing stock among the Muslims!

This challenge still stands until today, and they keep hearing it and will continue to hear it until the onset of the Hour.

The jinn and mankind are incapable of producing anything like it.

After all that, how can it be right to say that it is possible for any person to produce three lines written in an elegant style that matches the eloquence of the Qur’an?!

This possibility is merely hypothetical, as it has no existence in reality, because if that were possible for them, why have they not done it?

So the challenge still stands:

“Let them then produce a recital like unto it (the Qur'ân) if they are truthful”

[at-Toor 52:34]

“then produce a Soorah (chapter) of the like thereof”

[al-Baqarah 2:23].

But the aspects of the miraculous nature of the Holy Qur’an are not limited to that which has to do with the Arabic language in terms of style, composition and eloquence; rather the aspects of its miraculous nature are many, of which the earlier scholars mentioned ten, and later scholars added others. It is not far-fetched to say that there may be other aspects of which we are unaware, which Allah will make manifest to future generations and which will be appropriate to their knowledge and reasoning.

Al-Qurtubi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

The miraculous aspects of the Qur’an are ten:

·        Its amazing composition that is unlike any kind of composition that is known in Arabic or other languages…

·        Its style that is unlike any other style in Arabic.

·        Its cohesiveness, which is such that it could not have been produced by any created being at all…

·        The manner of its expression in Arabic, which is such that no Arab could have come up with it, to the extent that all the Arabs are agreed that every single word is put in exactly the right place.

·        The fact that an unlettered man, who never read any book before and never wrote anything with his right hand, told about things that happened at the beginning of this world and until the time of its revelation; he told the stories of what happened with the Prophets and their nations, and past generations; he answered the questions that the People of the Book asked him and what they challenged him with of the story of the People of the Cave, the story of Moosa, and the story of Dhu’l-Qarnayn. Although he was an unlettered man from an unlettered nation, that had no knowledge of such matters on the basis of previously revealed books, he came to them with something the soundness of which they were aware.

·        Fulfilment of promises that was tangible and could be seen with the eyes. Everything that Allah, may He be glorified, promises may be divided into two categories, according to whether they are general promises, such as His promise to cause His Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) to prevail and to expel those who had expelled him from his homeland, or promises that are subject to a condition, such as when He said (interpretation of the meaning): “And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him” [at-Talaaq 65:3], “and whosoever believes in Allah, He guides his heart” [at-Taghaabun 64:11], “And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty)” [at-Talaaq 65:2], “If there are twenty steadfast persons amongst you, they will overcome two hundred” [al-Anfaal 8:65] and the like.

·        It tells of future events that come under the heading of matters of the unseen, that could not be known except through divine Revelation. That includes the promise that Allah made to His Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that He would cause His religion to prevail over all other religions, as He, may He be exalted, said (interpretation of the meaning): “It is He Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam), to make it superior over all religions even though the Mushrikoon (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) hate (it)” [at-Tawbah 9:33]. And He indeed did that.

Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Allah has promised those among you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the land, as He granted it to those before them”

[an-Noor 24:55]

“Indeed Allah shall fulfil the true vision which He showed to His Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) [i.e. the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) saw a dream that he has entered Makkah along with his companions, having their (head) hair shaved and cut short] in very truth. Certainly, you shall enter Al-Masjid al-Haraam; if Allah wills, secure”

[al-Fath 48:27]

“And (remember) when Allah promised you (Muslims) one of the two parties (of the enemy i.e. either the army or the caravan) that it should be yours”

[al-Anfaal 8:7]

“Alif-Laam-Meem. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur’an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].

The Romans have been defeated.

In the nearer land (Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine), and they, after their defeat, will be victorious”

[ar-Room 30:1].

All of these verses referred to future events that no one could have known except the Lord of the Worlds or one whom the Lord of the Worlds informed about that. This indicates that Allah, may He be exalted, told His Messenger about them so that this might be proof of his truthfulness.

·        What the Qur’an contains of knowledge which is essential for the well-being of mankind with regard to what is lawful and prohibited, and all other rulings.

·        Ultimate wisdom which cannot be found in such abundance and greatness in any book written by a human being.

·        Harmony among all that is mentioned in the Qur’an, both explicitly and implicitly, without any contradiction. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein many contradictions”

[an-Nisa’ 4:82].

These ten aspects were mentioned by our scholars, may Allah have mercy on them.

Ibn ‘Atiyyah said:

The point of the challenge in the Qur’an has to do with its composition, the soundness of the ideas explained in it, and the consistent eloquence of its words and phrases. The reason for its miraculous nature is that Allah, may He be exalted, encompasses all things by His knowledge, and He encompasses all words by His knowledge. By His all-encompassing knowledge, He knows which word is fit to follow another, and how to expand upon the meaning. This is so from the beginning of the Qur’an until the end. End quote.

Ustaadh Muhammad Qutub (may Allah have mercy on him) said in the introduction to his book Laa Ya’toona bi Mithlihi (p. 8, 9):

During their period of ignorance (jaahiliyyah) the Arabs were a people of rare eloquence, and they were proud of their eloquence, to the point that they would call those who did not speak their language al-‘ajam (lit. dumb). This clearly indicates that they regarded others as inferior for no reason except that they could not speak the language of eloquence – meaning their own language – by which they were distinguished!

Every divinely-revealed religion challenged the deniers with a miracle that was beyond the realm of human capability, so that they would become certain that it was from Allah, even if they denied it openly out of disbelief and stubbornness, as Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, tells us of the attitude of the people of Pharaoh towards the miracles of Moosa (peace be upon him):

“And they belied them (those Ayaat (signs)) wrongfully and arrogantly, though their ownselves were convinced thereof”

[an-Naml 27:14].

As this was the way with every divinely-revealed message, we see that Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, challenged every people with regard to that in which they excelled and which they regarded as a source of their pride. So we see that Allah challenged the people of Pharaoh with signs that surpassed the magic in which they excelled and which they used to divert people away from their Lord, and to assert the divinity of Pharaoh instead of Allah. And He challenged the people of ‘Eesa (pace be upon him) with signs that surpassed their excellence in medicine, which they practised and felt proud of their skill therein. So He gave ‘Eesa the ability to breathe life into clay, to revive the dead, and to heal those born blind and lepers, so that they would be certain that the message was from Allah:

“a Messenger to the Children of Israel (saying): ‘I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, a figure like that of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah’s Leave; and I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I bring the dead to life by Allah’s Leave. And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses. Surely, therein is a sign for you, if you believe’”

[Aal ‘Imraan 3:49].

When Allah sent the final Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) to the Arabs, it was appropriate that the sign with which he challenged the deniers should be eloquence of a type and level that they were unable to match, so that they might become certain, in their own hearts, even if they rejected it outwardly, as did the people of Pharaoh. Thus the greatest miracle of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was this Qur’an, which challenged them to produce the like thereof, but they were unable to do so. So it challenged them to produce ten soorahs like it, but they were unable to do so, apart from the worthless attempt of the liar Musaylimah, and another attempt by the false prophetess Sajjaah. Neither of them was able to convince the Arabs that anyone could produce something like the Qur’an.

This is in addition to the fact that Allah willed that the miracle of the Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) should abide until the end of time, and should not disappear with the people who had witnessed it, because Allah willed that Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) should be the Seal of the Prophets, and that his message should be the eternal message that would abide until the end of time. If we understand this, then we will realise the reason for the interest of Arab writers in the past in the linguistic miracle of the Qur’an, as this was the focus of the challenge, and the fact that the Arabs – who were so proud of their eloquence – were unable to produce the like thereof offered certain proof that this Qur’an was the word of Allah and was not the word of any human being and that this was proof of the truthfulness of the Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and his message.

But the Qur’an is not only miraculous from a linguistic point of view, although its miraculous linguistic nature is sufficient – on its own – to prove that it is from Allah, and it is sufficient – on its own – to pose this challenge to mankind and the jinn until the onset of the Hour.

The Qur’an is miraculous in all the fields that it discusses, and in all areas. End quote.

Then he stated that he could not discuss every aspect of the miraculous nature of the Holy Qur’an, because this would require a huge effort to be undertaken by a number of researchers. Therefore it is sufficient to mention a few aspects of the miraculous nature of the Qur’an, of which he selected the following:

The miraculous nature of its linguistic style.

The miraculous nature of its approach in calling people to Allah.

The miraculous nature of its educational approach.

The miraculous nature of its legislative approach.

The miraculous nature of its scientific approach.

He discussed all of these fields, and he did well – may Allah have mercy on him.

And Allah knows best.

Foreign AffairsTrump Removes ‘muslim Ban’ From His Website by balash(op): 4:47pm On Nov 11, 2016
One of President-elect Donald Trump‘s most divisive promises — to ban Muslims from entering America — disappeared from his campaign website before reappearing on Thursday.
Trump‘s campaign staff told US media that text of the pledge, posted in December following terror attacks in San Bernardino, California, vanished because of a technical glitch.
It reappeared after journalists questioned the disappearance.
“The website was temporarily redirecting all specific press release pages to the homepage. It is currently being addressed and will be fixed shortly,” the campaign said in a statement.
Trump said in December that Muslim immigrants pose the United States a security threat and called for “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what the hell is going on.”
It was one of a number of his statements — including a pledge to build a wall on the Mexican border and criticism of women who accused him of sexual harassment — that prompted the greatest backlash against his campaign, with accusations of xenophobia.
Later, he shifted to say immigration should be suspended from any country “that has been compromised by terrorism.”
His stance apparently helped win him the presidency with the support of a majority of white, working-class voters.
