Politics › Why Buhari Dropped Ibeto by BALLOSKI(op): 1:53pm On Oct 14, 2015 |
Ibeto was dropped on political grounds . There was a protest from Niger state that Ahmad ibeto is from the same zone where the state governor come from; as such , they(the protesters from the states) felt it won't be fair for BUHARI to pick a minister from the zone that produced the incumbent governor. It was against this backdrop that the two nominees from Niger state , that's talking about IBETO and Abubakar Bawa Bwari (though nominated from the FCT and , ofcourse , you know the FCT people want their own on the list) met , discussed and it was agreed that Ibeto should step down for Bawa.
For the record, BUHARI did not drop Ahmad Ibeto on ground of corruption or anything like that.
BUHARI is not confused as people are already insinuating ; he's firm and on top of the situation. |

OnankpaBa: lalasticlala baba don do am again o.
This man is full of suprises. But he need to tell us why he withdraw that man it was on political grounds. Ibeto is from the same senatorial district where the governor come from is where ibeto come from, so the other zones raised an alarm. Since we have him and Bawa from Niger on the list, they met and decided that ibeto should step down. |

From the attitude of the so called youths on nairaland , you can deduce that the VP was right.
Which youths are you talking about? The youths that constitutes NANS and all they do is celebrating criminals, support corrupt politicians and recently honoured a wanted drug baron in the US?

OTDR: You talk as if only US has monopoly on such ICBMs. Even China has them and FYI, Russia developed the first ICBM Nuclear missile (The R-7), and the US has been playing catch up with Russia on missile technology since then.
Btw, the Bulava is the Russian equivalent of the Trident and Russia has for long gone even beyond that. Russia now has TOPOL-M ICBM missile for which US has no equivalent - not even for the next decade as forecasted by defense analysts. It is considered the fastest and most advanced ICBM in the world with a speed of 26,000KM/H. It has multiple "Intelligent" warheads built to evade any missile defense system.

When Akpabio called him the FATHER OF PROPAGANDA, what was the senate's reaction. Answer this truthfully and forever hold your peace.
I do not mince words when I say I'm not a fan of Lai Moh'd. And to think he's been tipped to man the ministry of information?
Nigerians! Get Ready!
Akpabio gave us a hint when he called him the FATHER OF PROPAGANDA There's a reason his name was changed from "Lai" to "Lie"
People are being sold a man who will run the information ministry based on propaganda, and more propaganda, and they are rejoicing.
God forbid that the information ministry is doomed!

socialmediaman: A diplomatic way to answer that would be "The Nigerian army has recorded major victories recently against the insurgents and they have been able to purchase modern warfare equipment to tackle the insurgency, this goes to say they are rightly positioned to defeat the insurgents, and with the cooperation of the communities and constant morale boost for the soldiers, the insurgency will hopefully be ended sooner than later." the question wasn't about insurgency . Didn't you see where he gave the answer by saying "that's why we have them all over the place"? |
