Sign in to your wes account, you should see the link to download the transcript request form and other instructions. Print then head to your school to request the transcript, give them the wes document and they'll seal and send to WES or give you and ask you to send yourself depending on the school. Cheers!

Congrats sir. Best for prearrival is airbnb. You can get some good deals for a week, 2 weeks, month or even a year stay though that's not adviced. One of the advantages is you can get a whole apartment (considering family size) already with utilities and co to ease your arrival. A lot of folks here went that route and my family (of four too) will do the same upon arrival. Just download the app from appstore or play store, register and search for spots available in the intended area and check for available dates close to your arrival time.

We are still waiting for PPR too and by God's Grace if time is good, we could do august or before august too.

a friend would like to apply, but she is separated from her husband and would prefer not to involve him in her app for obvious reasons (baba fit spoli ground by not providing her the docs she needs).

1. can she apply without mentioning him at all?

2. if she declares that she is married but husband is not coming, does she need to supply any info about him?

its just a very unique situation that i have never really come across before. Any info would be appreciated.

If they are still married, he could pose a threat as she would have to mention him as not accompanying but will still need his medicals and other informayion. But if they're divorced and hopefully no children between them, he may not have any chance or way to "spoil" her plans...cheers!

I opened an account on sinp but found about no NOC relates to my work experience till August 2017.
Then decided to go through an engineering body in SKS , paid for the membership, had an ECA done but unfortunately I couldn’t asses my degree result relating to Engineering. The courses were way different . I studied computer science and here I have to asses it against an engineering courses, so it was a wasted effort after all.
Then we decided to go through Manitoba express entry .

EOI on 30th January with 569pts
ITA on 13th March
Applied for my Masters to be assessed by WES
Waiting on Lautech to send the transcript

Now my questions for my wonderful brothers and sisters ,

1.Can one use spouse account as Proof of fund ? I don’t have such inflow in my account
2.i read up about gift deed . What is it about ?
3. What are the documents required to submit the application?

Wow....this has been a long time coming.

1. Yes you can but another thing most folks recommend or have tried is having your spouse send the funds to your account and he writes a letter that its for the immigration program you both are running.

2. A deed of gift is usually a document raised by the giver of funds to support your immigration. Say your mum or friend or father or sibling is sponsoring or financing your immigration, he/she sends the money to your account and then raises a deed of gift which is simply a letter stating the funds is a gift not expected to be returned or repaid. There are samples on page zero and if you don't get, you can send me a PM or use the mail address in my signature so i can send you a draft.

3. Medicals, POF, reference letters or proof of employment, passport photos, passport scan etc. I don't remember others.


For the bolded, are you sure ECA can be ready within te 90 days alloted for application to be submited after ITA?

Hi guys. Here’s my Landing Experience

Flight
I travelled with Ethiopian Airlines from Nigeria on March 15. It was a 24 hour flight. First leg was from Nigeria to Ethiopia for 8 hours and then Ethiopia to Dublin for another 8 hours. At Dublin, we stopped to refuel for an hour before the final leg to Toronto for 7 hours 45mins.

The airline was good. Ethiopian allows 2 bags of 23kg each. They let you slide with an extra kg or 2...anything more than that will be rejected and you will have to shed the weight. I had issues with my baggage because I weighed it at home and it was the specified weight. Also, when I got to the airport, I weighed it again and it was still the specified weight. However, once I got on to the check-in counter, my bags were surprisingly overweight by about 4kg. I had to convert some of the suits in my bag to hand luggage which became really stressful. The plane we took on the first leg to Ethiopia was big and spacious with good leg space. If you have kids, you won’t have much trouble. Kids had enough space to play and sleeping was comfortable. We were served with one meal.

I need to get and load a Presto card for bus service. I also need to go back to the bank to deposit my dollars and wire the money from my Nigerian account.

Congrats to all people who aced their IELTS. So i need advice from the gurus in the house, looking at the high CRS scores i'm looking at all means to max out my scores. I did a graduate level professional course while i was serving( all this courses they advertise in camp). My question is can I evaluate such certificate in addition to my Bsc certificate? to claim 2 or more degrees? i really don't have the resources to pursue another diploma or PGD. the problem is providing transcript as i'm not sure that institute will be able to produce one.

PS: the program lasted for about a year ( all through my service year)

It needs to be an academic or accredited diploma for it to be evaluated insuch a way for you. If its such, then you can go ahead. If its not, sorry it may not work. You can also check schools and institutions WES has in their database using the sample ECA tool on their website. I wish you the best. Cheers!

Afternoon house, pls I need infor from anyone that had this issue. I got a mail from WES Canada on the 31st of Jan 2018, I was told my status is on hold as they require verification of transcripts and certificate from UNILAG. I met with Somone at Unilag and was told last week that they didn't get any email or letter sent by post requesting for verification. I sent a mail to WES through their link informing them about Unilag not getting any mail and they should please resend, I got a this reply on the 5th of March 2018:

We will send you an update by email each time a new document is received and reviewed. Once we have received and accepted all the documents required, we will complete your evaluation.

I still spoke to Somone in Unilag today. They have not seen any mail from them. Please advice. Thank you.

So I got the golden mail today after a wait period of 5 months and 23 days. Truly it is not a journey for the faint-hearted. I have been worried, scared, tired, hopeful, hopeless and even prepared my mind for the worst ... I would come to this thread to give myself hope and stay away sometimes not to get my hopes up...

Where I wan start, na the IELTS abi na international police clearance...abi na WES wahala...then I got to NA2, got moved to LVO and stayed there forever. Let me also say over the last few days I got a few mails from LVO, also ADR and I got super worried.

When i saw Teatop1234's PPR mail earlier, i was genuinely happy for her and also pray that LVO will give me PPR too. One hour after, my golden mail arrived. On Monday, i told Pampem that i have a good feeling that both of us would get PPR this week and be free from LVO.

I want to sincerely thank all the elders of this forum for their contributions... Honestly, didnt ask any questions throughout this journey because i read and noted down everything that is important.
