Landing Update

So, we finally traveled last week in March. Destination: Ontario; Airline: Lufthansa/Air Canada; Family of 4; Total Bags: 8 Checked in- 4 hand luggages. Nnamdi Azikwe Airport was totally in chaos as there was a huge crowd at the airport entrance door waiting to go through the security bottleneck. Quarrel and fighting all over the entrance made it difficult to get bags through. Once we got our bags through, 2 of our bags were called for screening by the customs or so - they removed our frozen palm-oil which we had packed in ribena bottles . we had 12 bottles, but they managed to only locate 5 of the bottles.

I was asked if these were all the goods, then i said no, other goods are coming (Since we are allowed to bring in our goods within a year na). So the customs lady wrote on it that good still coming and gave me my document back. Will ship in some more food in due time for winter later in the year ). Picked up my bags and home we went.

1. For the goods following, did you send via airline or how? I mean how can i know the cargo service to use?

2. You mentioned a year to bring in other goods that follow. Are all these items duty free? I mean apart from the 120k you paid in Nigeria, did you have to pay anything else in Canada?

I raised CSE using the form on the website but got no response for like 3 days then i sent the information to the ottawa CPC mail and got an update and also request for documents with placeholder on my profile in 22 minutes or therabout...this goes to confirm my belief that they've been ignoring our mails intentionally as mentioned on their website for inquiries for status updates within the stated 6 months.

To sum up, these people can reach candidate whenever they want but purposely put out a number on their website that never connects. May God help us.

Quick question for you, did you mention/nurse asked for your EDD during medicals? If you gave that information, my guess is that CIC probably knew you were expecting a baby soon so they decided to wait for the delivery so you could add him on file and have everyone get their copr at once. I am sure ppr will come immediately you complete his addition.

To the house, did anyone get ppr ~3 weeks to EDD?

You're mistaken. Its diploma. You need a masters first before PhD. What they talk about in Noun's case is a year diploma.

They will request for it when your application has gotten to that stage...you can also pay yourself when you are ready to.

Hello house, So my adventurous self went across the border for a road trip to the US yesterday. I went with my mum and a friend offered to drive us there. Did some shopping at Burlington in Amherst, NY. I was able to come back into Canada showing just my passport and COPR. No issues at all. ��
