blackprowler: Why? South Americans win in South America; Europe only won in Europe until South Africa - never won outside despite the World Cup being hosted in 4 continents before 2010. It is Nigerian mentality(maybe shared by Brazil I don't know) that will make you think Brazil would favour Germany. Europe would NEVER support South America to win in Europe no matter what teams are concerned(maybe that's why they're progressing and we are backward)

Because Argentina/Brasil have a big, HUGE rivalry in futbol. I'm pretty sure they would rather support the team that won 7-1 over them than having Argentina winning in their World Cup, in the Maracana. This is, according to my brazilian friends, though.
