Is this a great series?
|
A friend who will be leaving for US in few days time for his PhD is so excited. Looking at him today buying his flight ticket, with great joy all over his face seem bubbly. He got a fully funded scholarship in one of the top universities, applied for Visa in Lagos and got denied, came to Abuja to apply and it was successful. He said he can't wait to Japa. It's not easy making Japa preparations. The major problem for many of us is "MONEY". We still dey save. Frustration to Japa even led me to type on Google "When will Nigeria be allowed into US DV Lottery" . Hopefully, money go complete and i go Japa |
Lately, I have been watching and following Korean drama series. Damn, I must confess those people are great and spend huge amount of money on creating a series. I reserched on YouTube and discovered that most of their popular actors collect up $60k - $80k fee per episode. And most Korean series normally have up to 16 - 25 episodes. They spend up to $20m to $50m in one season series. No wonder their drama series normally come out great. When will Nigeria get to this level Seriously I really like Naija to develop great, quality and mouth watering series, I am really rooting for us. We are the biggest in Africa, I feel we can improve greatly on quality rather than quantity, and also improve on marketing. The music industry is far ahead of the movies. |
jmanity:Yes, but still cool. |
Moura7:Penthouse gave me goose and emotion |
DieRich5:I have watched that |
I just want interesting thriller movies. I am leaning towards Korean. I have seen vagabond, vicenco and penthouse. Can someone recommend a good 2020/2021 Korean series that is very interesting |
Alfred234:Nothing spectacular about this season 4... Something is telling money heist may end up that way. |
Not impressed with Elite season 4. Same story line directed towards similar act in season 1 and 3. It should have just ended in season 3. I want better story line |
SocialJustice:Thank you.. |
Recently something happened to me which nearly caused an emotional breakdown. Was expecting some money for some job I did but disappointment was what hit me. I lost it. Nigeria is getting harder and of us are not living, we are just existing, trying to stay above the poverty line. The last few days has been so difficult eehh that if I can just disappear here and appear in say UK, Canada, US or any developed country where my efforts will pay. I have a small piggy safe I used to drop small change for the past 1 year. I wanted to keep saving in it but part of me is determined to open it and invest the money. That's the only savings I have right now. The money may not be up to 50k sef. Just want to start something good again and be happy. I intend investing the money in crypto ( just buy one of the currencies and leave it there for year's to come). You can equally share your experience of trying to invest in business in this present day Nigeria. Please suggest to me any other viable online business I can do with that money. And if anyone has any genuine online business one can venture into, please drop it here. I'm skilled in writing. |
Hello everyone, I updated my Samsung OS to the latest version today. But I'm having a problem because I am trying to download and save photos and videos but it will be telling me "current memory card space insufficient ", but I still have up to 12GB unused space on my phone and I don't use memory card. How do I reset my phone to be able to download videos and photos to my device as I use to ? |

asusfanatic:. Okay.. This is good |
Samgalaxy:Okay.. Thanks. |
The people that have their transcript, how did they do it ?My school said they don't send transcript to people except for institutions. I am applying for MSC in a university in UK and they said I should upload my transcript mysef. Now how do I do it since I don't have my transcript. I will also like to have my transcript for other applications. |
It will not cast. Look ehhh, the fact you hear Nigerian shouting "Canada... Canada", you may think up to 1 million Nigerians have already migrated to that country.. It's just the shout and hype. There are less than 150k Nigerian in Canada. Canada granted PR to up to 12,250 Nigerians in 2019. Also, there are 15k Nigerian students in Canada. Canada immigration is straightforward, genuine and constructive that I doubt if it will cast.. The even want more skilled workers |
Hello everyone, i have a bachelor degree in Agriculture but want to proceed to do MSc in MARKETING in a school in Canada. Why i choose MARKETING? I currently work as a social media marketer and Branding for the pas 3 years in an organisation here in Nigeria. What are the chances of being granted an admission? and it's also a scholarship. |
CollzSam:Please continue, I felt that way too till I became patient and it skyrocketed to cloud 9. I am in season 4 now. Animal kingdom is great |
Uktocanada:Great advice. Exactly what I was planning to do. |
iCode2:I think this would be a better advice. |
I need a viable response on this. I learnt that the UK student visa doesn't allow any form of freelancing jobs. Some one was saying that one's student accounts are monitored. If you work far more than the hours, they will know. And if you make far more money required to be in your account as a student, they will know. Now here is my point, someone that has social media platforms that generates up to N1m / £2k monthly, she has been running this social media platforms since she was in Nigeria and intends maintaining it while undergoing her masters in Uk. While in uk, she's making that money, withdrawing it with student account and using it to take care of herself. Will the student visa be withdrawn ![]() Though all those money are made genuinely from her online platform she creates content for.Secondly, can one run an online business while also doing student jobs with the normal 20 hours, if immigration discover they make more money, will it affect the student visa?? |
TheOnly123:I love your response and positivity. The fact that cars kill people on high way accident doesn't mean many people wont buy one or more. There are opportunities in the UK, even far better than in Nigeria at the moment. One just have to ask questions and research. Challenges are different, what student bayo would face is different from what student Halima may face. But I believe nigerians are survival. The UK will be rolling out a point based immigration system in January 2021, with what is going on and how they are gradually bouncing back, I think more job opportunities would be created in 2021. |
TheGuyFromHR:I like this your response/advice. Just wish i can tag someone i know to come see it. I will be going September 2021, this period gives me time to plan and raise more funds, hopefully the effect of the pandemic would have reduced. Just like someone said, UK universities are just issuing admissions to international students, visa approvals to come study. They need the money to fund their education system without much available incentives for those international students to survive. One has to be financially and mentally prepared when going this period. Fact is, living in Nigeria till age 18-20 has a way of mentally preparing you for survival anywhere in the world, provided all your dealings are genuine. Nigerians are survival so as international student, i believe one can survive those challenges, but the only thing is that it depends on time frame. So many Nigerians paid part tuition fees with the hope of getting a job, working to make money to pay up the remaining fees. It won't be very easy this period, but many just want to leave Nigeria to start a better life over there. I don't blame them, me too wan leave. But i hope they can read up informations online to be prepared for challenges ahead. |
jidesamuel:Thanks, Regards |
jidesamuel:Congratulations Bro, Up Salford and up Data Science. I am also coming to Salford in September 2021 for my MSc Data Science in Salford University. I have already started preparing. I hope you enjoy your stay in Salford. Emmm let me ask, Please how much was the total scholarship/waiver given to you from the 14,607 pounds tuition fee ![]() ![]() |
