Is it possible to process your Passport in Gwagwalada, Abuja without bribing? I doubt. A whole Abuja. Its very sad what is going on in that immigration passport issuance office.

Is there anyone here who captured between 25th -28th February, 2022 who has received their Passport?

I am doing a renewal- I did capturing on February 28, i wanted to DIY but i was squeezed to give them money. I had to give them, last month i called the officer i paid to know if the passport is out and he said they were out of booklets.

Today, April 26th, i called the guy again and the story he was giving me was sounding like a bass to my ears, leaving me a bitter taste in my mouth. He started by telling me that he doesn't know how to explain it to me, ehhmmmmmm, that they have backlogs which they are working on and mine is not ready. And he also said that i can hasten the process if i am going to school abroad and needed the passport urgently, i can come to their office in gwagwalada with my admission letter and school fees so they can try and work on it. I told him i have heard.

As i was dropping the call, something in me told me my passport is ready but he was just trying to extort me. Renewal is supposed to be 4 weeks... 6 weeks maximum.

I plan on going there next week but i want to be sure my passport is ready. I have come to realize that if you don't have any officer in gwagwalada, NIS working on your passport, you can't capture nor even collect your booklet. I don't want to waste the small school money i have saved on bribing more people.

I also want to bombard their twitter page with messages and even emails to be sure if my passport is ready before going there. I want to start applying for schools.

I want to ask, i am starting my application for MSC in UK. WHAT i want to study for Msc (IT related) is different from what i studied in BSc (social science). I currently work as an IT officer, will UK universities accept reference letters from non lecturers like my bosses?

They squeezed me into paying them.. All the officers are corrupt. Those officers in Gwagwalada virtually made it impossible for someone to DIY. It seems Alausa in Lagos is the best for DIY.

I thought they said there is availability of booklets...! I captured in Gwagwalada office on 28th February this year, I called one of the officers and he's saying that there's no 32 pages. My own an re-issue. Wetin dey happen sef!

I did my capturing on 28 Feb and I just made an enquiry from an immigration officer there, he said 32 pages is unavailable.. Hmmm mm.. Naija.. One story or another

Those who are doing renewal and have captured, apart from application form, payment receipt, appointment form and expired passport, is there any other documents one is required to take to NIS when going for capturing?

I really love how people are encouraging and gearing towards DIY, at least it would reducing the encouragement of fraudulent immigration agents who extort money from people.

I have registered online for my renewal and a date has been given to me for capturing. But a family friend has given me an immigration officer's number to get in touch so it would be easier for me the day of the capturing. And I was wondering, is there anything the agent would do specially for me on that day??
I want to throw it out to the house, I will be doing my capturing in Gwagwalada, abuja office and my appointment is 9am. I am hoping that latest, 12pm I have captured and left. Would it be possible Or I need an agent to make it faster?

Renewal process can commence within 6 months to the passport expiry date so you are good to go.

I recommend NIS HQ Sauka for DIY. If the booklets are available, you should get the passport within 6 weeks.

Hello everyone, some of the stories I am reading here are so unappealing. My passport is expiring April but I want to start the renewal process this month , February just to avoid delays and stories that touches.

I am going for "DIY" in Abuja since I don't have much cash to spare for NIS agent. For those who did theres in Abuja, will doing it in Gwagwalada office be faster?? Can I get my passport latest by April if I start now and if I did it myself??

Cloud computing can be found in cybersecurity so it means best of both worlds. Cloud security is basically a combination of both cloud computing and cybersecurity

All 3 are good fields though but data science is good for those who can code or who know some mathematics

Ask your school to give you payment invoice, then use the invoivce to go to any bank and pay using FORM A. invoice from school is always the best and it comes in pounds direct to school account.

Some schools accept USD ... If your school accept USD and the account details has routing number...then you are on the right track.

Hello everyone, I need advice urgently, so I and a friend wants to pay her school fees via bank transfer through form A and she is not sure if we did the right thing. We printed out the quote from Nottingham trent uni payment page, it says we are paying 4,255 USD to bank of New York to a beneficiary in London. But her agent is telling her she's supposed to pay in GBP and not USD. I feel the agent is one bringing up this confusion, because the money is leaving here in Naira, being received over there in dollars. Please kindly help out, advise if we are on the right track with this payment.
