Hi everyone. Happy 2016!!! For paper route application, i have these questions:
1. is it the original docs (such as sponsor's land docs , company certificate, degree certificate, waec certificate, birth certificate, passport) that should be submitted? Can I submit photocopies of the docs instead of the originals?
2. Also, Is affidavit of sponsorship different from letter of sponsorship?
3. Is Schedule 1 - Application for Temporary Resident Visa(IMM5257B) compusory to fill?
4. How many cic docs are needed to be submitted? Reading previous posts I have seen variances. I have the family info form (IMM5645E), the document checklist(IMM5483E), the Aplication for study permit made outside Canada (IMM1294E)

please help me out..tnks.

also check uni of manitoba and uni of british columbia, though uni of british columbia requires GRE

Danielakonic:
Could anyone please list out schools that doesn't request for English Proficiency Test and also the ones that can work with Student Copy of my Transcript.

I paid my school 27k to send my official transcript to UPEI and now they are requesting for Engish proficiency test. This is the reason why i decided to check up on other schools and i wont like to spend money sending another transcript.

Thank you.

in my opinion declare LASU during your uni application. In the school i applied for they asked whether a degree was confered or not, whether you havd received your certificate or not. you can respond in the negative to these questions. that is one. on the other hand i do not onow if this would affect you in your visa app.
biko let fellow nairalanders "speak"/write on this one.goodluck

BUT BTWN 2006 AND 2007 I DID MBA IN LASU AND WITH ALL LASU WAHALA RESULTS WERE NOT RELEASED ON TIME.

SO RIGHT NOW I DONT HAVE AN MBA DEGREE AND DONT HAVE IDEA WAT YEAR I MAY EVENTUALLY GET ONE FROM LASU

MY QUESTION: DO I NEED TO DECLARE THIS PROGRAMME AND OBTAIN TRANSCRIPT FROM LASU AS PART OF MY EDUCATION HISTORY IN MY AAPLICATION FOR THE MASTERS DEGREE IN CANADA OR DO I JUST KEEP SILIENT. WHAT IS THE BEST THING TO DO?

I AM TRYING TO BE AS HONEST AS POSSIBLE WITH MY APPLICATION.

Call their international office and ask them. Pretend as if you don't know u got the offer letter. They will tell u whether they have sent u an offer letter or not. But I doubt itz scam cos uk uni's don't take long to issue out an offer as long as u meet their requirements. My suggestion

Unilag will give you your dip transcript. The regulations for regular transcript doesn't follow here. You have to keep pestering them, that's the only way. As for wes, you need to find out about wes evaluation at www.wes.org . Explaining that will be too long.

thanks a lot.really

Getting your diploma transcript shouldn't be a big deal. Go to the diploma office, it is located between the fuel station at new hall and FSS. Request for a fast track transcript, you may have to get a letter from a faculty member to influence that. When it is ready, inform them to send it to records office so that it can be sent with your regular transcript. You will have to tell records office to wait for your dip transcript. This process can be frustrating so get as many dip transcript you can get so they have extra copies saved in your file. Your best bet will be to have a Wes evaluation. WES will combine your dip and regular transcript and you won't have to worry about unilag again.

thanks. unilag doesnt give out transcripts to private addresses and i would need the tramscript to scan and attach to my application. my regular transcript has already been obtained. i already applied for my diploma transcript. i paid d money and filled the form. i was told to wait for six weeks only to be told after sixvweeks that i have to write a letter and i notin lag. presently doing my nysc. pls how does the WES work out in this situation?tnks

Hello,

I'm a unilag graduate though I didn't get in through UnilagDiploma. It's very possible to get a list of all your diploma courses even though you won't get it in the conventional transcript format(because it's a remedial program and you may need to explain this to your Canadian school). I've seen a friend, now in Canada, that was in your shoes. He got a list of Diploma courses and his graded were stated, signed and stamped. I strongly recommend you talk to the sub-dean of your faculty. (S)he will attend to you well. Unilag has a culture of treating Diploma students' requests specially. Godspeed!

thank you

I believe you could still use it like that and include your diploma statement of result. I believe your transcript indicates your mode of entry (Direct Entry) so that shouldn't be a problem.

yes it does state it is direct entry..thanks.

Why ask this question here?
People here can only guess or give their opinion.

Only your school can give a true answer!
You must ask them, then you will know.[/quot
