peppo4live: Dear VITEM XI applicants,
This message is to inform the updated list of required documents for current and future family reunion visa (VITEM XI) applications in case of VITEM holders (study/work permit and other temporary residence visa).
In all cases of VITEM holders who are not yet living in Brazil, it is mandatory to sign a declaration in behalf of family members (spouse and children) applying for family reunion visa (VITEM XI).
The consulate recomends to all VITEM I and VITEM IV beneficiaries/applicants, to request a letter from the institution/university in Brazil, acknowledging that the researcher/professor/student has informed to be travelling with family (listing the name of spouse and children, accordingly).
The declaration must be notarized!
Kindly see atttachments for information on the required documents for family reunion visa applicants, specially in case of children (minors).
SIGNATURE AUTHENTICATION: CPF and RNE/RNM card holders may benefit of the free eletronic signature provided by the federal government platform of public services: Gov.br.

Brazil visa is now hard to get, know this and know peace. Even agents will tell you same. I live here so at least I know from the experiences of people who have managed to enter Brazil in the last few months. Don't let anybody you don't know personally deceive you into paying for a visa that is not guaranteed, that is not to say you shouldn't use an agent but make sure you do your due diligence. |

luqaz: This is sad 😔
If this is the route they want to adopt, please help us with Agent links that one can start reviewing if you have access to such information. You better be careful and don't engage agents you are not sure of out of desperation. This might just be a ploy to lure gullible people to pay a non existing agent for visa. The same person that put out this supposed agent story was here just two months ago or less making inquiries about Brazil visa and alas this month, he/she now has a friend that used an agent and got it. DO NOT FALL PREY!!!! |

I just watched a video of a Nigerian blogger who made a video about relocating to Ireland through Asylum courtesy of her husband and how the Irish are revolting. I am not one to drop think piece but I have to due to the Cho Cho Cho nature of an average Nigerian. If we are not careful, same thing will eventually happen in Brazil and people will block others from accessing the country. The number of Nigerian YouTubers creating content about Brazil and telling people government is giving people free money, I even saw one silly video of a woman who said she used another person’s document to get accomodation, who do us this thing really? Why do we create useless content out of things that should be kept on the low? Imagine creating videos on how people should come and take advantage of the healthcare system of a country that is specifically meant for their citizens or government funds meant for indigents. It’s appalling the way Nigerians feel the need to bastardize things. Shockingly, we are not even amongst the top list of people immigrating to Brazil and I doubt if we have as many Angolans making content about Brazil as we do Nigeria, yet they are everywhere in Brazil, seeking for asylum and quietly enjoying the system. This is same thing Nigerians did in the UK with their nonsense videos, virtually everyone opened YouTube. Please note that I am not against sharing information but we should learn to apply wisdom in our doings. I hope we constantly caution any unreasonable videos we come across before they spoil things for those already here and those with wisdom who wish to enter. All the best to everyone |

Reliancemedia: For the submission of documents to the embassy is submission of the Original Marriage certificate and original child birth certificate required? Or do we only have to submit photocopies? If we submit the original Marriage certificate and birth certificate would the embassy in Lagos return them to us? You submit original copies of all your documents, it will be returned via same platform you submitted after processing. Please anyone coming in from Nigeria to São Paulo anytime soon, kindly reach out ?🥹🙏 |

solid3: Good evening all, thank you for the good works and support here.
Please we are expecting a baby and we are considering giving birth in Brazil 🇧🇷. She's like 4-5months into the gestation period, the baby bump can't be easily consealed incase we are called for interview.
Please how do we get the Visa? Can she travel alone and I go meet her just before she puts to bed? Are there good Nigerians who help people in her condition for a fee? Where do we start from and what are our chances?
Please help. Your main concern should be getting her a visa which is very unlikely considering the fact that she’s far gone into pregnancy and the visa process itself takes around 1-2months. Secondly, coming to give birth in Brazil alone is very tasking, telling you this from experience, if you can follow your wife, please do. That is not to say it’s impossible, some of us are here alone and surviving but it’s really not easy especially integrating into the system during pregnancy and taking care of a newborn. Lastly, there are people who charge for this but be very careful of unscrupulous Nigerians, I will recommend @walex22, I hope I got his username correctly. I wish you all the best. |

belovedmimz: That's why I'm using the Gh one (which is very much valid). But I'm applying from Nigeria, not Ghana thus my question - how to prove I can apply from Nigeria...with just PR or attach bio-data of expired Nigerian pp, since I have one? You can use your PR which shows you have legal right to reside in the country. |
