tjcrown: How old is your toddler? how was the medical screening done? i guess ur toddler is less than 5. If your toddler is less than five, its only physical screning that ll be conducted on him, hence no blood test or screening should be done. Can you tell us how was the test conducted on your toddler was carried out? i dont think SC anaemia will be a reason for denial, since its manageable and ur toddler will not need any special medical help and or special training. Also the disease does not constitute a threat to the public ie is not a communicable disease. I can drop my PIN or yahoo ID for more and detailed information.

donnet: Well I will like to share this infor. I think it help me to get a medical call. This infor is mostly for those that just graduated. Well apart from landed properties which I submitted, since I was serving (nysc), I also submit my NYSC id and call up letter and indicate there that immediately after my studies in canada am coming back to serve my fathers land which Is very important to every graduate in nigeria. That is another strong tie. But they did not know that I have settle that already with my LI and CLO. Another infor is this, when you ª̳͡Rε̲̣̣̣ 28years and above you need to know that they will not accept you if someone is sponsoring you, you have to sponsor your self. They believe that at that age you should be doing something in other to sponsor your self, so if you at that age and you use your uncle or whatever, they may not accept you.

bancan: This is the third time I will be writing on this thread without any reply from anyone, I guess this thread has only a group of people or like a cliq,even if no one has an answer to my question at least u guys should show concern, its over 60working days now n I've not heard from cdhc infact all I want now is to get my docs back.I'm tired of d emotional torture of tracking every day,visiting dat should take just 35-45 working days is taking almost 3months now. I want to know if I can visit dem to withdraw my application afterall my husband's convocation dat is my main purpose of visit has being done since june 13th.pls u guys should advice me

Olami1224: You need to go over to there embassy, "14 Anifowoshe Street, and make a complain and they'll give you a form to fill if you wanna withdrawal your application, but i think when you get there just make a complain they'll ask for your details and am sure you'll be called within two weeks. Don't withdrawal your application for future purposes.

galala123: Sorry my sister. The situation is pathetic. This is another reason why people want to get additional identity. Unfortunately we are treated like orphans country wise.

If you don't give me visa when I need it, at least release my passport. I hope eventually, we can reach a stage where they will not hold our passport until they are ready to issue visa
If you get the visa now, will you still use it? Do you intend to make any foreign trip soon? You may choose to recall your passport and application after considering these questions and perhaps one or two other questions.

I personally, have missed about 3 foreign trips because of my passport which has been detained since March although I console myself that I have saved some travel expenses!

bancan: Hi guys, u guys r doing a great job? I stumbled on this post like a week ago and I've learnt a lot. Now to my issue. I submitted an application to visit my husband in canada and to also attend his convocation.I was sent an official invite from the school to attend with my toddler.I submitted it on the 20th of april n it was received at cdhc on the 23rd of april,the convocation is 13th of june,up till today "ur applictn is being processed at the embassy" is all I see whenever I track it. Pls I want to know if I can still be given d visa before 13th,if d date pass could I still be given d visa,what can I do cos I'm confused,don't know if I'm travelling or not so my status of I don't know is affecting my present plans.pls I need suggestions.
