This chances don’t come each season, it comes just once n it would be very bad if u don’t use it
U can ask Bellotti of Torino was he as a hot cake
Historically, man utd hasn’t been a great stomping ground for African players. Chelsea and Arsenal has a better reputation regarding African players

Super Eagles needs fullbacks that can cross the ball..

Bassey is better as LB for the Super Eagles..
Yes, we need good fullbacks but center backs is one of the team hugest deficiencies. At LB, zaidu might not be a good crosser but he is almost as good as Bassey in that LB position. Do you think it’s easy walking into Porto 11

Yes on paper he is the best, young and playing for top club Ajax a plus for him but not yet convincing as CB.I would rather playing him as LB/LWB.I watched him closely in champions league,he need to step up if he wants to be a real CB,though with his age and good tutelage in Ajax, sky is the limit.
It’s not just on paper, he is presently our BEST CB if he isn’t, who is? I’m asking those that are saying that he isn’t our best CB option.. obviously, he needs to step up and improve on his performance but you must remember that, this is only his 3rd season since being a professional.

The problem with Nigerians is that, we exaggerate our players ability and always believe that, there are world class players at our disposal

My admiration for Bassey began when i saw the friendly game against Arsenal, while he was at Rangers, in that game he was played as a left-back. Bassey won me over.

When i saw him played as a CB, i was like wow, what a versatile player. The quality that i saw in Bassey made me believe that he is an upgrade to what we have in S.E especially at CB, but a closer look at Bassey as a CB revealed what looked like a deficiency, but which is actually a strength when he is deployed rightly

Bassey is a world class LB and should not be wasted at CB. He has qualities that makes him a good LB and at the same time limits him as a CB. He has the skills of a fullback. He anticipates well as a fullback, but makes poor judgements as a CB and there are good reasons for this.

Any coach that believes in Bassey will play him at LB and allow him to develop further in that role.

If Ajax desires let them continue him at CB and watch the opposition exploit Bassey's obvious weaknesses at CB, a situation which is quite unfair, and has a way of affecting his confidence.
Ajax can afford to play at at Lb but we can’t because he is our best available CB

I don't know why Nigeria could not qualify for this year FIFA world Cup in Qatar. Most of Our top player's are on form currently.

Ademola lookman highest goal scorer for Atalanta with 6 goals currently
Terem Moffi 4th highest goal scorer in French league with 9 goals
Paul Onauchu highest goal scorer In Belgium league
Victor Osmihen highest goal scorer in Serie A with 8 goals

Alex Iwobi also doing well currently for Everton
It’s a life lesson that we were taught. Sometimes in life, you don’t know what you have until it’s lost. We had someone that was qualifying us for tournaments with games to spare and we requested that he should be sacked undeservedly. The conclusion was retrogression

Which world class season?

That season! He scored 19 goals in all competition and at least 5 world class goals. In addition to that, he won his team the illustrious Fa cup and was their top scorer. That world class season occurred in the space of 5 months. This is why I would not easily give up on him

They’re only saying he is overpriced because his African because in todays inflated market, 22million is the right price for a player of Bassey caliber considering his age, and potential to grow.

Another aspect of Osimehn game that he has improved on is “heading” last season, he scored like 6 headed goals. This is why, when we contructively criticize a player, it’s for their own benefit. The next sprint goal is to improve on his “Outside shooting”

Who is Robinson? Is Trent a winger? Trent is one of the main source of creativity in Klopp's system..He and Salah play the same wings, you won't see Salah playing crosses into the box.. that clearly highlight my point that in the modern game, wingers don't do much crossing of the ball.. Somebody said our wingers should be crossing the ball for Onuachu...
Funny enough, Bassey can cross a ball well but he is our best CB at the moment and will be wasted at LB

Emenike is one striker I respect so much, for Osimehn, he will come good if he continues at this pace and tempo.
Note: Osimehn already has more goals than Emenike but during Emenike's short stint with the SE he scored decisive goals for us. Osimehn has more time to put smiles on our faces.
Osimehn has scored more than Emenike (Quantity wise) Quality wise, Emenike still holds that edge in reference to super eagles. He contributed immensely towards winning an ANC, qualified us for the World Cup and even had 2 assist at the World Cup… he earned the right to disapear

OSIMHEN has all the qualities to thrive in the EPL. Messi has had bad games. It did not mean will not thrive or need to improve.
He definitely has all the attributes to succeed at Epl. Pace, power, strong, intelligent

What you and your lots are spewing is nothing close to pointing out somebody's flaw.. it's just hate..

You keep repeating the Ghana game everytime..like every damn time.. it's been 8 months already.. When you constantly use that game to justify your "Osimhen doesn't perform in big games" narrative while overlooking other facts like the game against Roma, you're just hating...
As for Komekn,he said it himself here that Osimhen wasn't good enough for a championship youth team simply because the man was battling injuries at Wolfsburg which slowed down hia progress...
You must be mad. I clearly praised Osimehn after Roma game because it was a big game and he performed. (He was rightfully praised) Prior to that game, his record at big games has been porous. Of course, I will reference that Ghana match because it still dey vex me today. The way that I hyped SE expecially Osimehn before that match, if you were me, you will also had been disappointed. Super eagles couldn’t score from open play against arguably the weakest Ghana team in 20 years. Why I not go vex?

He scored against Chelsea and Roma. It’s in your village that lazio or Leicester are big games. You also forgot to add 180 minutes vs amartey in a WCQ (Big game) no goals. Emenike might have not scored many goals for super eagles, but I ranked him ahead of martins, yakubu (Super eagles wise). He won, performed at big games and scored. Afterwards, he disappeared. Performing at big games will always amplify your Value

Please some degree of objectivity and maturity.

Once again you deviate from the subject matter , what has Manchester city Academy got to do with subject we are discussing ❓

Actually it's two games against Liverpool without scoring.

You are too presumptuous, I aligned V.O. attributes and l skill sets to the demands of the EPL and the top level teams he should be associated with. Not just on game.

Before this current discourse , I talked about the teams he would be most suited too. So my view did not start a few days ago .

I will tell you in football one exceptional game will get you noticed and two will be get you offers and by the third you can probably get a pre- contract agreement.

It works vice versa , if you have been hyped to the heavens and you have an average game it will be considered a poor game, if in the second game you don't improve bids are off and interest dies. Football is characterized by short term decisions.
Osimehn struggles massively against big teams and games because they’re usually man marking him. but he is young and has time to improve his G+A against Big teams. He needs to learn how to hit Buhala from far just incase there are many players around him

Moffi is at the level that osimehn was when he was at Lille. He has the potential to become as good as Osimehn but for now, he isn’t. Let’s just appreciate our inform players instead of trying to compare them with each other
