The Belgian league is ranked 9th in Europe..That's hardly backwater... A few seasons ago, Onyeka was playing in the Danish league thats ranked lower than Belgium's...Why didnt he tear it apart there??
His present club signed him for a record fee. He just had tore that backwater danish league

What is quality about being a bench warmer?
The Belgian league isn't a back water league and Club Brugge are one of the best there...They can beat Brentford that Onyeka plays for..

Wasn't Iheanacho dropped from the team when he was warming the bench at Leicester for other players in lesser leagues?
Onyeka isn't even an established player in the team .. His invitation ahead of Alhassan makes no sense...
The Belgium league is a backwater league and if Onyeka was there, he would tear it up. I will always take Quality over quantity. Anyway, I think both of them deserves a call up considering that we listed 10 forwards

Thin midfield again ..

Consider me completely ignorant of Onyeka.

Having that in mind with the premise that consistent outstanding top level performance in your club and league are the only basis for national team selection.

Educate me about Onyeka sincerely please
Onyeka is a premier league footballer while nwakali is a division 2 player. Common sense should tell you guys that QUALITY precedes QUANTITY

If by now you have not realized Aribo and Iwobi are basic players then you have not being paying attention. Its important you understand I am not here to discuss clubs, thus I don't rate players on the clubs they play for.
Yes, they’re basic players but a division 2 player isn’t better than them

So many wrongs with this assessment, brother.

1. You're demanding a player to finish on his weaker foot when a teammate is free.

2. Osimhen has scored only 2 goals with his left foot in a career of 45 goals.

3. You're asking Osimhen to finish against a goalkeeper running towards him using four limbs.
When Van Dijk who could use only two limbs is running away from Kvaratskhelia.

Let's simmer the issue, brother, because I insist that if the tables were turned and Kvaratskhelia didn't pass...
A world class striker is expected to shoot from that angle. He is a striker that’s paid to score and even if he didn’t score, life goes on. You guys are the reason why players like Osimehn don’t grow

He is a good person but failing to score in 180 minutes vs amartey is unacceptable as a world class player

I'm not disputing that sir. My point is: what Onyedika needs is not in Anguissa.
Yes, it is Anguissa can also play as a DM but because he isn’t limited, he can interchange and play as a CM. We don’t need another limited Midfielder

TheLoneCitizen:
That's the point.

Anguissa is a CM with great on-the-ball ability but below-par positional awareness. Onyedika as a DM for Brugge shouldn't model his game on that.

He needs tackling skills not ball-playing.
Shut your foolish mouth. He can play DM and also play CM it’s only limited Midfielders that will just limit their self to one Position

Ogun slap you there you must be an enemy of progress. We have enough available “DM” it’s time to teach our midfielders how to add other Qualities to their game. Yaya started as a playmaker then DM then CM, AM those are the kind of midfielders that SE needs. Enough of just winning balls

Anguissa having a good game says more on Liverpool than him.

Zambo is one of the more lackadaisical DMs this season. Very unprotective of his defence.

Anguissa is best a box-box.
I prefer his style of DM to “strictly winning balls” as a footballer, you have to be well rounded to be noticed by the big wigs

My comment were never to cause pain , rather to state my observations, shikena.

I still maintain my stance on Aribo and Iwobi. Both are very minimally talented or below average. They are seeing playing time because of their Englishmen status.

If the like let them crucify Nwakali it would still not change my assessments. I don't even watch SE matches anymore and I have peace. Have a great day
If our Epl players are deemed below average then what will a segunda player b deemed?

You guys overrate Ndidi alot. You have seen the best of Ndidi as a DM. Its also important to remember he started as a central defender before he was converted to a DM. You expect Ndidi to pull a skill he doesn't have, which is very unfair to him.

The guy is all about tackles , blocks and nothing more. He can't carry the ball , dictate play nor nor make incursive passes.

Another player that will soon be exposed is Aribo. Soon una eye go clear.....Iwobi is another player I dont see getting any better no matter the noise. In the weekend Iwobi didn't make a single creative pass.

Simon Moses , Iwobi , Aribo and Ndidi are some players that needs to sit on the bench. And , oh , let Nwakali steer clear of the SE for now.
Unfortunately, they’re the best that we presently have and for any new player to dispose them, they have to be playing at a higher level. For example, you don’t expect a backwater league guy like onyedika or alhassan to be benching Ndidi, iwobi or Aribo. It’s clear that we exaggerate the talent of our players

Thank God, we sacked Rohr. He just refused to play him and later stopped inviting him entirely. I knew I played a role in his reinvitation by Austin Equaveon. I was copying Austin on every Bassey's UEFA performances. I warned him that if not capped for the Ghana game we might lose him forever. It took some bravery for Cezero to drop Collins for him against Ghana. It wasn't easy an easy decision.
Thank God you sacked a coach that regularly qualified you for competions for a coach that couldn’t qualify you for anything. You must be delusional

Lukaku was the highest goal scorers at man utd so he didn't flop.

At Chelsea he was beginning to gain scoring form before the interview made him fall out with Tuchel so he also didn't flop at Chelsea.
He didn’t flop yet he was consistently abused by both man utd and Chelsea fans. My guy, he FLOPPED. this was the same player that tore Seria A last season. Man utd has such a wide range of fans that if their striker doesn’t perform immediately, they will ostracize that person. Make Osimehn enjoy small at Napoli, score 30 goals for them and the likes of Madrid, Bayern swill request for him. BTW, being the highest goal scorer for your club doesn’t exempt you from being labeled as. Flop

I want to see Osimehn play a full season uninjured at Napoli and score 25 to 30 goals in all competitions for making that big move
