Chelsea can spend astronomical amount on lukaku, Fernandez, caicedo, mudrkh etc. it reach Osimhen turn and the club becomes economical. Omo, it seems like only Arsenal , psg and a camel club is interested. The dude shouldn’t had signed a new contract

Anytime I see how Real Madrid is run compared to Nigeria, I feel like crying. For example, on current form, onyedika is probably our best DM but he is been benched by ndidi due to seniority. We behave as if, weren’t interested in winning with the type of respect that we hand out to older players. In 2024, you have clueless players like Iheanacho starting and we expect to win. There isn’t a system created to enforce winning

Boniface needs to stop his twitter antics and take his career seriously because it’s extremely insulting dropping a bundesliga winner for division 2 or backwater league player in an all important game

As talented and good as Osimhen is, I won’t pay that 130 million release clause for him considering his output last season. (17 goals) in all competitions. Astronomical amounts should only be paid for astronomical numbers except clubs have excess money to spend. Also, when you now include his injuries antecedent, behavior issues and Nigerian toxic fanbase, it’s a serious risk. For example, Napoli has been insulted by Nigerian fans on all social networks platforms for the past 4 seasons because of Osimhen and as a team scout, one has to consider all factors involved prior to purchasing a player. His possible option
1) Stay with Napoli and bang another 30+ goals, clubs will come for him
2) transfer to a monebag that spends frivolously like psg
3) beg Napoli to reduce his release clause and arsenal might purchase him

Gorimapa at 20? Anyway, I’m not his parent to ascertain or cast aspersions on his age. BTW, I noticed that osimehn hasn’t reposted any of his team mates win and I’m wondering if that’s a normal procedure? Last year, when he won the Seria A, he received lots of repost from some of his teammates

Victor osimhen is a physical specimen who is deadly in the air and has a tough winning mentality but that's just it. He lacks technique, positioning and can't finish properly These are attributes every world class striker should possess. His all round game is average at best

TBH, what’s stopping other players from having a winning mentality/never say die attitude? If everyone in Super eagles has osimehn attitude and work ethic, we would be winning all games. He is an equivalent of a Kante as a striker. I don’t agree to berating his teammates tho

Lookman performance in a big game is what I want osimehn to be doing. When you have the ability to perform at big games, you will automatically win your team cup trophies

We missed so many chances or half chances from the likes of Simon, chukwueze, osimehn and onuachu that I doubt any absentee could had made a difference. If our players had converted their chances game should had concluded at 3-1. It’s not to say that midfield shouldn’t be a priority

Osimhen needs to boycott the S.E if they keep inviting players like moses simon, onuachu, chukwueze, osayi Samuel, ihenacho to the team.

That's like inviting 5 Insignes to the team, players who want to be the one to score the goals.

Osimhen can only thrive with players making him the focal point of attack, the person to pass to or cross to or play corners to..

My friend sharrap what about the chances that he missed nko? As a professional you need to control your emotions because your team mate wants to win as much as you want to win and your Quality isn’t even miles ahead of all your teammates to be disgruntled at any opportunity they shoot at Goal.

Osimehn needs to calm down with his body language whenever things don’t go his way. This is one of the reasons why Cristiano is hated. He will get away with this attitude if he keep scoring but the moment that he stops scoring like today, it’s a toast.

he is literally dragging them to a first league title since 89/90 season. I would be disappointed if they did anything below this.

I understand that we’re patriotic but that doesn’t mean that we should spew false information. Osimehn is doing well but prior to him, there was George weah (Seria A and balon d’or winner for Ac Milan) Samuel etoo (Champions league winner) and obagoal that has represented Africans exceptionally in Seria A

World Cup or no World Cup, osimehn deserve to be the next APOY. Yes, he flopped vs Ghana and failed to qualify us for the World Cup while Moroccans were exceptional at that World Cup. But, APOY is an individual award not a team award and you will notice that Moroccans had an overall Quality team with no players being exceptional higher than anyone. In addition to that, can you say that Hakimi, amrabat, ziyech, ounahi has had a better 2022/23 season than Osimehn? NO. Also, APOY is an individual award and not a Team award.. I have analyzed all the top African players this season and Osimehn has been the best and he rightfully deserves APOY. Hakimi (World class player) winning APOY ahead of osimehn will be an equivalent of Cafu, Daniel Alves winning Balon d’or ahead of George weah or even Cristiano in their prime

Football is a team sport. Put Halaand in Southampton and Onuachu in Mancity. How many goals have the other strikers in Southampton scored since Onuachu was signed? The same Belgian team disgraced Villarreal and Union Berlin. Are you saying those are back water leagues too? Onuachu still the highest goal scorer in that league shows his qualities no matter how hard you try to denigrate his achievements.
Boniface that turned Union Berlin defenders to Amateurs and won UEFA Europa player of the week plays in that league. He doesn't even have up to 10 league goals yet destroyed a 4th place team in the Bundesliga. Guy stop yapping bullcrap!!

I’m not denigrating his accomplishments I’m just informing you guys that we cannot drop our established players at big leagues for those guys scoring at lower leagues because scoring at lower leagues doesn’t equate to Quality

Paul onuachu is presently the top scorer at Belgium league despite leaving the league 2 months ago for Epl. He hasn’t scored yet in 5 games at Southampton. (A superior league). This is one of the reasons why I don’t pay many people mind when they’re hyping goals scored at backwater leagues. If these players are good, let them prove theirself at the big 3 and coaches wouldn’t ignore them.

Nope. AC Milan is equally a team of substance and higher pedigree in comparison to Napoli. They have a richer history in the Champions league. They are as good as proving what they stand for when they face Napoli. It will rather be a dent on them to allow Napoli to walk on their face when they meet in the CL. This is Milan's only chance at winning a trophy too this season. So it will not be easy for Napoli and I hope they can make history for themselves by qualifying for their first CL semifinals. Milan has already won the CL five times, that's the biggest number by an Italian team. So they have the pedigree. Napoli has the form.

Since the way Ghana dispatched Nigeria, I don’t pay attention to many people emotional predictions. In football, history plays a big part but current form is equal important. I predict and support Napoli but it isn’t going to be easy, forgone conclusion and wouldn’t be surprised if Milan wins

For me, the only issue with this squad is Ahmed musa invitation and few midfielders. As for all these Championship or Belgium league players, no sane person will drop the big 3 league players for them and if they want superior league players to be dropped for them, let them prove theirself at superior leagues. Shikena. Super eagles forward is too loaded to be selecting lower league players for except they’re exceptional. We really need to stop invite only 4 midfielders

Osimhen was in the national team when he was with Charleroi. I have never rated Onuachu because he has a lot of deficiencies in his game,he doesn't have speed, dribble, pass accuracy and more. Boniface and Orban is a different stock
Whether you don’t rate onuachu or not, facts are facts and both boniface/orban hasn’t even achieved 25% of what onuachu achieved at Belgium league and I am not even a huge onuachu fan nor do I believe that he should be a starter. The osimehn wasn’t even a starter for SE when he was at Belgium and he became a starter when he tore French league to shreds. In a position that we have excess players at the Big 3 or 5 it will take a special player to displace anyone playing at the big 3. I’m not opposed to trying these lower league players at meaningless friendly games

Omo I don’t understand some forumers logic. You mean that you will omit Seria A, Epl and French league forwards like Moffi, iheanacho, okereke and onuachu for a player at Belgium league. The same league that Onuachu absolutely annihilated and hasn’t stepped up yet at EPL. Omo, some of una football brain or logic is really lacking. Very soon someone will suggest that Indian league top scorer (Probably a Nigerian) should be invited ahead of superior league players. The Tunisia and Ghana loss displayed how easy it is to defeat Nigeria present team despite an arrays of Good forwards. All you literally has to do is to saturate your midfield and allow us to dictate the game from the win and it is “o Ti Lo” our coaches has to prioritize our Midfield and goal keeping department in order for us to Win tournaments and Titles

With the latest fifa World Cup format, I see no reason why we shouldn’t be in the next World Cup and at least get to the knock out stage (at least round of 16).

Our attacking department seem to have swollen in numbers in recent years and I expect them to mature by 2026.

Our midfield and defence (including goalkeepers) seem to be average at best at the moment. I pray more world class talents would emerge from now till 2025. I feel this is why the upcoming under-20 world is important in regards to emerging talent. I hope we won’t waste it.

If by the end of this year José Peseiro is still underperforming, NFF should take the courage to fire him and hire a competent hand to handle the super eagles. We can’t afford to waste the generation of attacking talents we currently have and that is growing. I’m not saying we wouldn’t get more in the future, but most times these things tilt towards another area.

This has been the reality of super eagles. Getting a balance squad for the super eagles has been difficult for so many years. There was a time we had good midfield and weak forward. Now we have an average midfield and great forward. There was a time we had it all good at the goalkeeping department. Nowadays, all we do is pray that our goalkeeper wouldn’t fumble whenever the super eagles plays.

I believe that if we can grow some midfielders who can connect well with the current forwards we have, the super eagles would cook really well. The midfield doesn’t have to be debruyne or Modric level kind of players. We just need those that can do what is expected of them like the 2022 Argentina’s midfield.

That is why we need a coach that knows what he is doing. A coach that knows how to manage the talents available to him and set them up in a working system that would deliver results. If Peseiro is not delivering, show him the door.

We don’t have a balanced team at all and we aren’t patient enough with conservative coaches. Our team reeks of Good strikers, Below average midfielders, defenders and goal keepers. Yes, with a quality coach you can possibly win a Nations cup. We need to first find a way to create a balanced team
