Even first tier leagues have grade.

Which would you rather have an outstanding CB in the Championship or one that's just making up the numbers in La Liga.

Or which do you think is better an outstanding CB in the Championship or one in backwater first tier league that is also outstanding.

I always look at what you do in your league. For example Mitrovic was the outstanding strikers in the Championship but he was better than many strikers in EPL, same follows for Banford and Watkins who played for Leeds and Brentford.

So do you think that because Keane ( Everton), Benteke ( Crystal Palace), Linton ( Newcastle) Lys Mousset ( Sheffield United) , Neal Maupet( Brighton) KC ( Leicester) , Wood( Burnley) all play as strikers in the EPL.

Absolutely none of them are better than MITROVIC in any way shape or form, but they were all Premier league strikers when Mitrovic was in Fulham in the Championship.

Watford have been relegated according to you therefore Ismaila Starr is no longer a quality winger.

Bournemouth got relegated where did thier best defender go,Nathan Ake, to Manchester city.
Agreed.....

Don't overrule my preposition ekong might be out of the team the position of the assistant captain is not an impetus for him to be in the team musa the captain when was the last time he started a game for the SE if the likes of tosin and iorfa are all playing very well then they will be given the chance to prove themselves because ekong is now an assistant captain he won't be facing any competitionhuh that pure rubbish even captain is on bench because of competition how much more assistant captain
In conclusion Ekong have to boss the league and prove he is better than iorfa and tosin week in week out that the only thing that can guarantee his shirt the captain shit is rubbish even Chelsea dey bench both azpiciulieta( captain) and jorgihno ( assistant captain ) so what the hell are you telling me .
We're saying the same thing naa.
Azpi dey chop bench.
Jorginho, bench.

Did either of them not make squad list?

Here's what I said again.

barackodam:
Ekong is assistant captain sir, he's going nowhere, not soon. Unless he's not playing.

Ekong is sure to stay sir, so long as he's playing. He might later get the Musa role, playing from the bench, but he'd keep making the team.

I guess all these argument are baseless we are know who our CBs
Udokhai
Jordan
Apkoguma
Ekong
But the only issue now is that ekong has foolishly brought the likes of iorfa and tosin to the picture I wonder how Rohr will be able to snub tosin and Iorfa when the duo becomes very outstanding in the league; making teams of the weeks and months
There is huge probability the duo performs better than Ekong coz they've been in the league for almost all of their career the likes of iorfa has been in championship since the begining of his career I won't be suprise if ekong doesnt make the Qatar team coz we all here knows the quality of tosin if not because of Guardiola racism he should be in man city forget the likes of john stones are not better than him.
Ekong is assistant captain sir, he's going nowhere, not soon. Unless he's not playing.

Musa has been in Saudi for how long now, has he stopped making the team?

Captains have oil on their head. They didn't become captain overnight, so they hold a lot of sway in the team.

As annoying as Roberto is in Barça, he's the 4th captain. And for that, he can't be chased away, even as much as fans hate him. His team status will always stand for him.

Ekong is sure to stay sir, so long as he's playing. He might later get the Musa role, playing from the bench, but he'd keep making the team.

Is it when Adarabioyo joins an EPL club that he automatically becomes goodhuh ❓

The same follows for Dominic Iorfa.

All the German Bundesliga players become outstanding because they play in the Bundesliga to many here. That is too simplistic, it is an indicator but not conclusive.
I didn't dispute his quality. But it's a known fact here that we encourage our players to be plying their trade in first divisions. I know you'd preach championship is better than bla bla,

But which of of players is playing in a second division and was called up.

Don't mention Shehu please. That guy is a quota player.

We can not have a "law"(more like style, tbh), then change it when it has to do with English boys.

Are we short on options in defense?
We already have like 6 CBs already, 2 more German boys in bundesliga are coming, but you want us to consider a player playing in the championship.

He's so good enough he's playing in the championship angry

tosin is good and the best ball playing defender among the CBs available to us.

Ajayi got capped wen playing for a lowly rated championship side so I see no reason why tosin shouldn't be tried
Ajayi got capped when we were short of options. Or more succinctly, we didn't have a lot of options.

We can not have the German boys, together with a championship playing player.

World Cup 2018: 5 World Cup teams which should get better by Qatar 2022
sportskeeda.com Sep 26, 2020 10:21 PM

#3 Nigeria
2018 FIFA World Cup group stage: Croatia vs Nigeria
The Super Eagles
The 2018 FIFA World Cup marked a setback for African football as it was the first tournament in a generation that did not feature an African side in the knockout stages. However, this does not mean that teams from the continent did not play well.

Both Senegal and Nigeria were extremely hard done by as they were eliminated by the ‘fair play’ rule and a freak Marcus Rojo goal respectively. This will likely not be the case in 2022 when Nigeria will have an extremely talented side that may be able to have a major impact.

The Super Eagles have a young talented core which will be far better in four years. In Francis Uzoho, they have a brilliant young goalkeeper who will be 23 in Qatar. In 2022, Uzoho will be almost certainly supported by defenders Kenneth Omeruo and William Trost-Ekong, both of whom will be in their prime.

Similarly, 21 year old Wilfrid Ndidi is one of the world’s best young defensive midfielders - he averaged more interceptions in Russia than any other player. In Qatar, Ndidi will likely be partnered with Onazi, another promising midfielder who will be in his prime when Qatar comes along.

Yet it isn’t just the defense and midfield which will be solid. Nigeria have a young enterprising attack with the likes of Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi, Oghenakaro Etebo (who made more dribbles than all but four players in Russia) and striker Kelechi Iheanacho.

All of these players will be in their primes in Qatar. Nigeria may have the potential of making a Croatia-like run in 2022.
How old is this article? grin grin grin

Because only Kevin is the one Pinnick has opened the lid on. He hasn't talked about others, and while we believe there are others that are near completion, they don't exist until the federation says they do

Dessers made a bad move. He moved to a team with 2 Nigerians at his position. This was bound to happen if u ask me. If Onuachu was from Brazil we would all be praying for his form downfall but now what can we dohuh His move only made Onuachu relevant once again because he keeping a guy who made the list on the bench. Now he is putting Rohr in a bad position. The coach is only lucky that his match is in Europe and not naija because these are the questions the media will surely ask

I actually made the mistake not to. I went with FPL scouts advise to captain KDB. Thing is, vardy always, always, return goal points against top 6 teams, which is mostly goals anyway.

No wahala my man, but in the spirit of "here and now",...
Chris, everyone knows why Dessers made the list. You guys are just stirring unnecessary arguments.

We had a match to play back in March, or was it April. And Dessers was on fire then, Eredivisie top scorer. He was rewarded for his blistering form with an invite.

Now, he hasn't been able to repeat the same form in Belgium. But the manager chose to call him because if not for Corona, Dessers would have been invited and have played for the country.

He hasn't hit the ground running, but so also has Victor not been able to. You don't make excuses for Victor, then go ahead to bash Dessers.

Just wait until the next list, for the qualifiers is released before bashing him.

Thanks

Tranquilo hermano, I'll remind you.

Leicester City scored 4 goals last week, Vardy didn't even have an assist.

I just say make I remind you. These things happen in football. Barça have scored 5 before, in which Messi didn't score.

I only think you're being too quick to celebrate or cry about his lack of goals. And 100%, you didn't watch the match at all. If you did, and you listened to the commentary and shouts from the stadium, you wouldn't have said all these.
