With Jaime Rodriguez now joining Everton, I hope Iwobi won't be impacted negatively o. I honestly think Ancelotti would favor Jaime because 1) he signed him 2) they have a history together, from Real Madrid to Bayern.
We shall see how it goes.
I don't think the should. Alex is being used on the wings. James plays from the middle.

Dem no get business together

Be calming down Oga.... I actually wanted to point out and commend our very own youngsters(Ndidi, Samuel and Victor specifically) for staying disciplined so far at least. BTW, I'm not in anyway mocking those English.

Now,to your question, what has barca history, Adama traore got to do with this thread ?
He has ties to our neighbors, Mali.

You're welcome tongue

He will go the way of Munir. Unless Spain changes their way, he's not a typical Spanish kind of player. And they're just considering him now, based on the hype surrounding him, and of course, so they don't lose him to Mali

World’s Most Valuable National Teams: Super Eagles Crack Into Top 20

 by Imhons Erons

The three-time African champions rank better than the likes of European giants Scotland (21st), and Switzerland (23rd), CONCACAF’s highest-ranked side Mexico (39th), and Asia’s top-ranking teams, Australia (58th) and South Korea (70th).

You clearly don't get my point bro.

The main essence/goal of playing international football isn't just about being called an ex- International is it?

Don't you think a player with active international football is at advantage for the benefit of his club career?
I don't think I can get into their heads to know, but there's no way Tomori would have succeeded in England, unless he succeeded in Chelsea. At Chelsea was because of the transfer ban. Pretty sure he'd be going on loan very soon. These are variables they would have considered, yet, yet, they stick to their oyinbo country, don't they?

There's a reason a lot of us adore and appreciate Dessers. He knows and realise the problem he'd have with Belgium, and stuck to Nigeria.

Others know the problems, but still end up dipping their heads into it, in hope, or for whatever reasons.

My point be sey, these people get advisers, and dem get head. I'm very sure the variables is usually explained to them. But all of them, all of them end up going for their oyinbo country.

A typical example is Adama, after having given Mali his word, look at him chasing Spain up and down. Why did he give Mali his word he'd play for them? And why did all that change the moment Spain came calling?

So yes, they know up front, and they choose 10 mins of appearance over 10 years of appearance in the other country

Why do you have this wrong conception about EPL?

So, Liverpool, Man city, Arsenal, Chelsea etc don't play tactical, technical etc football!?
I didn't mention teams.

The league as a whole.
Tactic wise, EPL is not the best among top 5
Technique wise, they're not.
They don't play the best defensive football either.

They only play the best money football. That's why they have God knows how many local competitions, whereas other leagues have 1.

It's all about money, more money, and much more money

i honestly don't hold a grudge against any Nigerian born player if they choose not to play for us. the commercial opportunities they get playing for England is hard to ignore not forgetting most of them grew up in the english system. plus they hardly have any connection to home except through their parents.

The only thing I would appreciate is from day one they let us know they are not interested and not use us to get clout.
grin grin grin

Dele Alli did that, right? Yeah, I get your point. But it's a hard thing for them, really.

Imagine them saying they won't play for Nigeria, England already knows for certainty, so they won't rush.

Look at Tomori. Had he come out to say no to Nigeria publicly. England wouldn't have capped him yet, and he wouldn't be able to play for Nigeria again. The shame, because he already denounced.

Exactly the problem Billing is having. Denmark knows for sure he won't play for Nigeria, there's no need to rush to captie him. And he, he can't rescind his decision again. Shame no go allow am

Is Eze willing to take such risk?

Time will tell
I think they all know very well, and are willing to risk it. Let's not forget, most of them have never been to Nigeria before. It's very easy for them to take the risk, which they don't even consider a risk sef.

Like komekn says, they prestige that comes with being called an English international is too much to pass on

Boavista might be a poor team but saying they will struggle in the championship doesn’t make any sense

Modified

Apart from obi Mikel there is no quality Defensive midfielder in the championship that’s up to Javi García level ,dude won the epl with mancity starting most games

I don’t support awaziem move to Boavista but that doesn’t mean I should not speak facts

Bruv the reality is that many don't want to believe this Dude is at best very average.

He has played in two good leagues La Liga and French league one but no interest generated, no substantive offers made.

Now he has gone to club that will struggle very seriously in Championship. Look at the budget of Boavista look at the players in the squad, it's a poor club.
The only thing you know and care about is money. Money, money, money!

And that's the ONLY thing EPL has over other leagues. Money! They don't play better technical football, they don't play better defensive football, they don't play better tactical football. They only play better money football.

This Tomori issue is making me wish Fifa creates a new rule that exempts players that haven't played up to 45mins in 2games after debut to be able to switch allegiance fast.

Like, im imagining a destiny tied down with 3mins. Chai.

Even if he still wants to rep England, the rule must be available somehow.

For now this transfer rule seems like a better one. Lets hope it happens fast.
As you made your bed, so shall you lie on it. He had the chance to play for Nigeria. He chose not to. We respected his decision and bid him well. Idc, he should be more bothered about improving his own quality so he can get a call up.

Let's face it, even if he played for us, there's no way he'd have made our team at this moment. He needs to work on himself more

smh, one overhyped team that knows nothing but to be under accomplishing in every tournament.

Y'all deceiving yourselves that they've been planning for 15 years. 15 years and no fruition. Una dey mistake EPL for 3 lions. Foreign players in EPL make EPL a giant league. English team is just a useless team in which people transfer the EPL hype unto.
