Don't misquote me cules. I'm not blaming our trophyless season exclusively on Bartra, the guy just doesn't come across to me as a world class defender, and for a club like ours, we deserve better. He's 23 for heavens sake, pique may not be the same as before but at 23, he was the world's best defender, winning trophies and making history. The board share my thoughts though, cos if Bartra were half as good as you guys are claiming, why did they buy not 1 but 2 central defenders?

Anyways let him prove me wrong with beastly performances against the big guns (not Celtic, apoel et al) and i'll eat my words

If Bartra was one of our best defenders last season, then it's no suprise we went trophyless. So he wasn't fit that's why he allowed bale to run him over? Funny though. Didn't you see what Mascherano (a midfielder) did to that striker in our first liga match this season? Face it; bartra is average and he's done us more harm than good (that's if he's ever done any good). Isn't it also a coincedence that he played both legs when bayern mauled us last 2 seasons? He and pique are the same so don't bother comparing them

Johnpaul88: We host them in January, on the 18th match day. We then travel to their Calderón as our last away game of the season and of course as a potential title decider, in a rematch of last term's title decider which we lost in camp nou. We will have a chance to revenge that loss .
