What is this SILVERBIRD that mothers mention here?

Where can I get it pharmacy, supermarket or open market?

Can any mother post the picture of silver bird for me to see what am looking for when I go to get it.

Make una no vex I be JJC[/quote]It's the brand name for eucalyptus oil. Used to treat cold and chest congestion. Pls don't use directly on baby's skin Ooooooo as its quite harsh in the skin. You can put few drops on baby's shawl, bib flannel and let the baby inhale. Or add some drop to the hot bathing water or u can use it for steam inhalation.

Most pharmacies should have it

The matter tire me o. Was it not recently someone said on this thread that her mom asked her to use turning stick to seperate her child's leg whenever he's crossing his legs as that's the cause if him not walking on time? Now this again. To even think it's a school. Who knows what other practices would be carried on there without the parents knowledge.

Why should anyone use turning stick on a baby? Tell her categorically not to use it on your baby. Babies would crawl when they are ready. Some might not even crawl before they start walking.

A few minute should be fine. If you feel your baby is choking or uncomfortable while doing it, you can let him take some fresh air intermitently then continue again

My baby turned 7months today, he also has catarrh n small cough since yesterday, I tried the steam inhalation with silverbird few mins ago but was scared he won't see space to breath well, i had to stop, mixed it with coconut oil n applied on forehead n chest. I'm really at lost on what to do too. I gave him vitamin C earlier.

Please it's not advisable to use silverbird directly on your child's head/chest whether you dilute with coconut oil or not. Steam inhalation is better. Or you can put few drops on his shawl or other clothing but not directly on his skin.

Heh. I meant surname. I liked the name 'Blessing', so I told my teacher that my name is Ishi Blessing, but my speech was not clear so it must have sounded like 'Benson' to her. Thus, the first term had my report card showing 'Ishi Benson'

Same way the image i described in my OP has never left my head. That is the only memory I have of my early childhood. The next one is of me in KG 1, and I am telling my class teacher that my name is Benson. Even my first ever school report card has Benson on it. When my mum saw 'Benson' she ran to my school to go and rectify the error

@ Ishilove I remember describing the house we lived in when I was just two to my mum. I can remember standing at the balcony and looking out through the railings at the road. That picture just never leaves my minds eye. Mum was surprised at my description and confirmed we did live in a house like that.

We left that house before I was two and half. My dad believes somebody must have described the house to me for me to give such a vivid detail of that part of the house but nobody did.

Don't wait till she's hungry before you breastfeed her, by that time she wouldn't have the patience to suck. Try giving her when she's not so hungry.

You can apply a generous amount of coconut oil on the nipple and other parts of the breast leave it for a while and then clean with cotton wool.

Yes it's possible. I had total absence of AF too but after removing it I saw AF in 2weeks.

Just googled "white zobo leaves" and I'm referred to Ishapa. For those of us in the South West looking for white zobo you can ask of ishapa. Not eaten it before but I've heard of it.

My inlaws didnt let me rest in my first pregnancy, they made sure I took several glasses daily once I clocked 37weeks.

I’ve been going to the toilet since yesterday and all through today

Might be. For my first I kept going to the toilet till real labour started. Although sometimes I didn't pass out anything, just the urge to poo. At other times little, but it kept on for a while until real labour commenced.

I'm Fyn. Been having off and on contractions for days now. Drank zobo, eaten pineapples yet this baby is taking its sweet time. I'm officially tired can't wait to offload. It will surely end in praise.

Most of us have our Edd towards June ending sha I think that's why the house has been silent. But I want to believe that before the end of this week and by next week there should be several BA.

God will perfect that which he has statrted

he's a year and 2weeks old....He can crawl,stand for like 30 secs, stand while holding objects,he can walk around while holding onto something.

If that's the case then there's nothing g to worry about. Very soon you would be the one shouting "come back here". I know a baby who was still holding objects to walk around at a year's and five months now she runs about like no mans biz

Not true jare. Which one be fish leg again? I was told same when someone saw my baby crossing her legs, that she would not crawl on time. Madam not only stated crawling on time but even started walking before some babies born before her.

I can't wait! My uncle came visiting and got me fried chicken and Rice from KFC. I couldn't eat the chicken , kept it for hubby. This man came back, carried the food to start taunting me. He was cracking the chicken bone, smacking his lips and licking all his 5 fingers saying "So you can leave chicken for me, this is one of the perks of you being pregnant! Chai, this your pregnancy is sweet o.." Can you imagine? I felt like crying, I didn't know when I rolled my wrapper to stone his chest. He is here laughing happily, telling me the chicken was too sweet. I officially hate him.

Don't worry by the time u start waking him up at 1.30am when the whole world is asleep to ask for something that can only be gotten in the next city he would understand how sweet the pregnancy is. Na small remain for your Shakara to start
