Good morning mamas, I need to vent. My hubby made chicken stew which would have been nice if he didn't use garlic. I tried eating it but threw up everything at night. This morning he was warming the stew, i told him to close the kitchen door because the smell of the garlic in the stew triggers me to throw up. This man said "na wa o, u are taking this thing too far o". It's not his fault. I am here asking him if that's how I was selecting foods and throwing up when he came to marry me? I really wish God made pregnancy for both sexes, so men can feel a little of what we go through. It is annoying that he thinks I am overreacting to everything.

It is well sometimes these men don't understand, they think we are just over reacting to things.

Especially if it's your first pregnancy or if you had a previous pregnancy that was easy and stress free. They wouldn't understand the sudden change and aversion to things.

You might need to explain to him how you feel or get someone else to explain nuasea in pregnancy to him. You can also get him materials to read on each stage of pregnancy so he knows what to expect at each.

I didn't use powder for my first baby at all and she is fine. What exactly is the use of rubbing powder for a baby? I know it's a wide spread practice as some claim it makes the baby's skin smooth but we were told during ANC then not to use powder for our babies so I didn't just bother and nothing happened as a result of not using powder

How are you sure you are having malaria? Sometimes morning sickness mimics the symptoms of malaria. You would have to run a MP test first to be sure if it's actually malaria. Pele we all went through it.

Mr Biggs died when UAC management placed more emphasis and focus on selling franchise than good meals and quality customer experience. 150 outlets bla bla...to what end? Compare Mr Biggs with another old brand - Mama Cass - you would see a big difference in class and brand positioning. Thankfully, the newer fast food brands e.g. The Place is carefully following Mama Cass' strategy. Although the newer brands need to watch their pricing. N2000-2500 to eat one tiny pounded yam with Titus and bottle water is ridiculous.

Lol @ jumping out when they finish. Some of these out kids can really hold one to ransome sha. They are in charge, we just have to put up with all their whims and caprises.

Lol at fighting with him abeg who won the fight? Babies at that age are quite choosy and easily get bored with food. Thus they might seem to readily accept a certain food today and by the next day, they turn their faces at it. Patience like others have said is the key. Also try getting someone else to feed him. He might not want to accept food from you when he can readily access his milk factory. So ask someone else to feed him and leave his presence while he is been fed. Let's see if he would be more cooperative. It is well
