For that no.6, transcript stuff:

If everything is now 100% online I thought certificate from the Nursing institution of training or certification of registration would be enough to get ATT?

They also need your transcripts to assess your course work, hours of training etc, your certificate does not provide those details

Thanks @barbie.

what is the validity of ATT issued by NMC UK? I mean, if NMC UK should give me ATT , what is the maximum time NMC UK expects me to register with Pearson for CBT before it becomes invalid or can I register with Pearson any time I wish?

Your ATT is valid for 6 months

Scholastica, maybe you should do a review of the new process. Been long you posted
I already explained the new process in the video I made, I shared the link here and I just gave a summary of everything again 2 days ago on this thread. The only thing different will be the theory part and OSCE stations that will soon commence.

Please, does this mean we don't have to pay the #63,000 for registration at No 4? I didn't see anything like that here except towards the end.
How do we open online portal with NMc UK. I think I am at this stage now
You still have to pay it because that is like your credentials evaluation or assessment fee.
The fee at the end is for your registration into the NMC register as a nurse and you pay for it after you pass your osce.

To open your NMC online account, go to the NMC website and follow the instructions for overseas registration. Its just like creating any social media account. You need it to monitor your progress

That means we can start the process before passing IELTS test ?

How about the transcript part ? For someone that has diplomat and midwifery qualification, which of the transcript is advisable to send ?

would be glad to receive an answer biko
1. You can start the process and write your CBT before IELTS
2. If you want to register as a nurse after completing the 3 years nursing program then send only your nursing transcripts, if you want to be a midwife after your 3 years midwifery course then you have to send your midwifery transcripts. However, If you did the 3 years midwifery program and 18 months nursing program and you want to register as a nurse then you have to send both transcripts and also explain to NMC in a letter that your 18 months program qualifies you to be a RN in Nigeria and you have a practising nursing license.

GOOD NEWS!!

Nigerian Nurses aspiring to move to United Kingdom to work can now do so without breaking their banks as the Nursing and Midwifery Council has slashed verification fees by 67.3% (from ‎₦53,500 to ‎₦17,500) Nursesarena.com has learnt. The fee was slashed last week according to multiple sources who were privy to the change.

Recall that Nursesarena.com posted last month that NMCN is in the process of reviewing the verification fees for UK verification See https://nursesarena.com/travel-nursing/nigeria-nursing-and-midwifery-council-begins-online-verification-to-uk-nmc/

Speaking on the new verification fees, a source within NMCN office says this new verification fees is only applicable to those who are under the new UK NMC process as the process is solely online. Applicants who are under the old UK NMC registration process still have to pay ‎₦53,500. Other Nurses seeking verification to other countries have to pay the ‎standard verification fees of ₦53,500. It currently takes NMCN between 1 day to 6 weeks to send your verification based on the experience of those who have gone through the verification process

Requirements for Verification

Applicants can submit the following document to any of NMCN office Nationwide

1. Remita Payment Receipt
2. A copy of birth certificate
3. A copy of your license (front and back)
4. A copy of your certificate of registration (Issued by NMCN)
5. Handwritten Application (with your UK NMC application number written on it for those under the new system)
6. Printed UK NMC Verification form (for those under the old system only)

How to Pay Nigeria Nursing and Midwifery Council Verification Fees

Go to Remita page click this link https://login.remita.net/remita/onepage/OAGFCRF/biller.spa

Complete it as follow:
Who Do you want to pay: Write Nursing and Midwifery Council
Name of Service or purpose: Pick Verification Fees
Payer: Your Name as it appears on your Nursing Council Certificate
Description: You can leave it blank or type anything like license verification to UK NMC
GIFMIS Code: Just Leave Blank if you don’t know
Amount to Pay: For UK NMC online verification input ‎₦17500, for UK NMC verification (those under the old system and verification to other countries) put ‎₦53,500

Complete other parts of the form putting your name, email and phone number

How do you want to pay: Pick bank branch or Online payment. Then fill the captcha and hit the submit button.

If you pick bank branch as method of payment, a code will be displayed after you hit the submit button. Copy the code and proceed to bank to make payment. When you get to the bank, tell them you want to make payment via Remita and that you’ve already generated your Remita number. Complete a Teller and make payment then collect a copy of the Teller with Computer printout. For online payment, use your card details to make payment online and print out the receipt.

Opdannex:
Good morning everyone, does anybody has undergone NMC UK email verification from NMCN recently?
Has NMCN started to respond to the email from NMC UK?
What is the requirement and the cost?
Please help needed.
I know many applicants that are still waiting for NMCN to adapt to the new system hopefully they will respond very soon.
For now, verification fee is 53,500 naira and you need to have a valid RN license or evidence that you passed your Nursing council exam if you just graduated to apply for your verification
