@sexymoma, my eyebrows come off after applying them. Initially they are nice when i just finish making up but after 4 or 5 hours they get oily and messed up and they leave stains on anything they mistakingly come in contact with. Ps I use Mac color 3 eye brow pencil and i also use a face primer.

Let me share with you guys some information that may be useful. Recently my wife has been getting numerous offers to work in the USA. But now the sponsors are not able to proceed because my wife works in UAE as a home nurse. According to the sponsors they require nurses who have recent 1 year experience in ICU,Critical care, A&E,acute care etc. They also require you to work in a ward of about 50-100 beds. Now my wife has CGFNS and IELTS but she is tied cos she is with only one patient or 2 max per day. So please make una no go family planning department o...stay in the ward and apply to all those agents in USA. they are willing to guide you into transitioning to USA at ZERO cost.

Kind regards.

Please anyone knows what options my wife has to enable her do a bridge program and work at the same time in USA
can you please tell us the agencies?

Cost for someone to help process the validation form from cgfns in nursing council
are are you referring to an agent fee? If yes, you don't need one. The cost for cgfns is $350. I already explained the whole process in this thread including what you will be asked to pay in Nursing council when you get there.

Any info on how to get to Canada? what are the rudiments?
To be registered in Canada you need to pass ielts first with at least 7 in all the modules. After that then you register with NNAS for your Credentials Evaluation

the required score for ielts differs with each state Board of nursing. Most of them wants 7 in each band and 7 overall score. Let her Google the states and pick the one that her score will be accepted.

anthney87:

but from most of ur posts it shows that midwifery is pretty useless since the cert is not used during applications.
You are getting it wrong. Most of us here studied Nursing for 3 years and midwifery for 18 months, the 18 months midwifery is called a post basic course. Now your wife on the other hand studied midwifery for 3 years so she is a registered Midwife. If she wants to get double qualifications she can decide to study nursing for 18 months as a post basic course.

The licensing authorities abroad request for at least 3 years of full time study in either Nursing (RN) or midwifery (RM) to be eligible for registration. Our post basic midwifery certificate does not meet the cut because it's just an 18 months program.

Your wife however meets the cut for midwifery. So she can apply for registration as a Midwife instead of a nurse.
I hope you understand what im trying to say here?

Having recruiters ready to sponsor Nigeria nurses abroad would be great but it's very hard to see one these days. Most of the recruiters i have seen online restrict their clients to Indians and fillipinos. Which is kind of sad. We have the will.. We are just looking for the way grin

@ barbie, I believe ur above narration is about CGFNS.
Please can u tell me a little abt ds,my mind has always been focused on NCLEX. This CGFNS is it like NCLEX?
Am I going to write any exam after uploading my document nd payment of the $350?

The thing dey confuse me small
cgfns certification exam is different from the CES credentials Evaluation Service. The CES is $350 and you don't need to write the cgfns exam.

Hi barbie
thanks for this thread.
-I would like to start my processing for texas also and I would like to know how to contact the board or if I am to go straight to CGFNS.
-Secondly which type of evaluation do I need for texas
-where else apart from the us cam one write nclex
-how do I get study material for nclex

Pls send me ur email address. .....thanks chief

-You have to go through cgfns first. Cgfns will be the one to send your final report to the state Board of nursing
- you need the CES professional report from cgfns. It's $350
-study materials are available online. I make use of nclex review 3500 by Lippincott Williams and Wilkins. Here is the link. It's online so bookmark it and send it to your homepage for easy access. http://198.146.4.17/nclexrn3500/contentSelect.do;jsessionid=D5EDBCCA9983C3F53DA59E54C1E8CDCD?testType=review it's very detailed and helpful. You should check it out.
Nclex can be written in the following countries but take note that writing the exam in any of these countries attract a charge of $350 per each attempt.
Australia
Canada
Hong Kong
India
Japan
Mexico
Philippines
Puerto Rico
Taiwan
United Kingdom

hello everyone, especially the veterans here. Good job I see you doing here to assist interested persons.

My wife is a registered nurse and midwife here and has been working in hospitals since 2010. She also finished her BNSc this year. Recently we have been pondering on the possibility for her to travel overseas to work as a registered nurse. Please advise on which of these countries (US, Canada, UK, Australia) is an ideal destination i.e in terms of professional exams and licencing processing, duration of process, costs and other evaluation/conversion processes. Is her prospect quite bright?
Of what relevance and level of acceptance is WES in Canada and US, cos someone recently told me about this.
How would you advise we start the process towards her immigration.

I need you help and advise folks, would be expectant.

Thanks a lot.
Different countries.. Different procedures.
We can't choose the ideal destination for you, we can however tell you the little we know about registration in the above countries and then you can narrow it down and pick the perfect place.

I already provided information about registration in Usa, cgfns, ielts etc. She can do this alone with the steps provided on this thread

For Canada, she will need to pass ielts with a band score of at least 7 in all the modules first after which she will register with nnas. Nnas is just like cgfns. They will verify her documents before sending them to the board of nursing in her chosen province.

For UK, the details is provided in page 1. @gratefulme where art thou?

For Australia, @wellendowed has provided the information in Page 3 of the thread.

Wes is accepted in both usa and Canada but i will advise she goes through cgfns for usa and nnas for Canada.

thanks for all these...i appreciate your efforts Barbie.
My wife just passed cgfns and is about taking IELTS.
What are her options...like does she have to go for Canada or are there any quicker routes..like Australia, New Zealand and USA, she presently is working as a nurse in UAE and has a bachelor degree but really doesn't have much post baccalaureate experience as she has used her SON Nursing license to work for over 10 years.

Please advise us..thank you
since she already passed cgfns why can't she just continue with usa? Or if you want a different country, try Canada it's easier to get permanent residency there.
