I have a suggestion. I think what will should begin to do now, is to air our annoyance about the promotion, and the challenges we are facing base on current realities of today and the meagre salary we are receiving. It has been 10yrs of stagnation, no promotion, no increment.
I believe sim and other top government officials in R/s are on twitter, instagram etc... By the time will tag Rivers state labour, Trcn, sim, fg, etc, and it keep trending, calling in to every available radio program in the state complaining bitterly, they will know we are serious. Something will be gone, those who can make topic to trend should help. we can share the link, to others to comment, and also sign online petition. I believe attention will be drawn to us, we have kept mute for so long, who is in for this?

The Rivers State Civil Service Commission says over 4,000 civil servants who are due for promotion will benefit from the ongoing promotion exercise for civil servants in the state.
Chairman of the Commission, Dr. Clifford Walter Ndu, said this in an interview with newsmen at the Commission’s office in Port Harcourt.
Ndu said the exercise will cover the period between 2013 to 2022, and so far a number of ministries and over 703 civil servants have been verified.
Ndu said the Commission will ensure that a thorough job is done through physical verification of affected civil servants, adding that all ministries and their parastatals will be physically verified.
The Chairman also said the Commission is working to meet the target dateline given by the Governor, stressing that arrangements will also be made for spilled over cases.
For the advertised recruitment exercise into the service, he said the Commission will commence the process for the recruitment from the 10th of April 2023.
“So far so good, the exercise has commenced. You can see the number of persons and ministries we have verified.
“So far it has proceeded as expected. For employment of ten thousand youths of Rivers State, recalled that two weeks ago, we went on air and came up with a website dedicated for the recruitment.
“The applicants have applied through the website,” Ndu said.
He advised civil servants to be orderly, adding that everyone will be attended to.

My honest advice to you is this:
Get one trade set up that gives you at least 1:2 risk to reward. Trade that set up on only one time frame (it can be any market instrument) but use only one time frame.
Do 50 (fifty) to 100 (one hundred) trades using this set up and time frame.
Now check your profit and loss and the expectancy. If you ended in profit, you now have a demonstrable edge!
Trade only that set up on only one time frame everyday for the rest of your life. Refuse to change that system regardless of what anybody says.

Teaching in this clime is a low-income job, so once you become a teacher, the smart thing to do is have multiple streams of income to augment the meagre salary. Petty trading can be done in your spare time, after all, we don't go to school everyday unfailingly. As for me, I took loan and set up foodstuff business. As long as my kids are not starving, financial pressure is reduced. When you keep complaining without any proactive steps to better your situation, it makes no sense at all.

Just finished reading this thread. sad to say you guys are not real teachers.You are only doing it for the money.Every time,alert,salary,faac, promotion.when have you guys discussed ways of improving the performance of the students in your respective subject?or improving the educational system in Rivers State?quiz,seminar?
