sure, artificial lift system could use hydraulic pumps . Another type of secondary recovery that does not even require pumping the hydrocarbon out is gas lift. Also, Enhanced recovery methods like polymer flooding or in-situ combustion does not even have anything to do with pumping hydrocarbon out.

electrical power might or might not be needed for production. It actually depends on subsurface formation pressure (reservior pressure). Now when the reservior pressure is high enough, production is possible via pressure differential, what could be controlled electrically in the wellbore are things like subsurface chokes, valves, and the likes. On the other hand, when reservior pressure is low initially or when there is a natural depletion of a reservior which once had sufficient pressure for natural production, secondary recovery methods are employed, which could be the use of submersible pumps which is controlled electrically.

Why Naija things dey always be like this? Normally, one is suppose to be able to get an instant display of result once you finish a CBT. This was how we waited for ages to write the exam. September is not even possible for those who haven't started the admission process already.
