Israel's only saving grace is that Russia has a soft spot for them due to their Jewish population at home. The S-400 that some fools were bragging about 'bypassing' was never intended to bring Israeli planes down otherwise those F-35s wouldn't even go near Syria.

It seems no one knows for sure the capabilities of s400 in tracking and killing off the f35.

Israel Has Responded By Switching Tactics

"To avoid Russia, which has now ended deconfliction call which allowed Israel to notify Russia three minutes before a strike in Syria so it can remove Russian military personnel from harm's way. Israel would now instead use long range missiles from Golan heights or strike using F16 through Lebanon to avoid Israeli air force casualty in the hand of Russian made systems"

Foreign Affairs / Russia, Syria Shoot Down Seven Of Eight Israeli Missiles Aimed At Aleppo by barojana: 10:35pm On Jul 27, 2021
MOSCOW — Syria's air defense forces shot down seven out of eight missiles launched by Israeli warplanes during a raid that targeted the Syrian province of Aleppo, the Russian military said Tuesday.

Rear Adm. Vadim Kulit, the head of the Russian military's Reconciliation Center in Syria, said that four Israeli F-16 fighter jets targeted facilities southeast of Aleppo in Monday's strike.

Kulit said seven of eight missiles launched by the Israeli fighter jets were downed by Syrian air defense units that used Russia-supplied air defense systems Pantsyr-S and Buk-M2. One missile damaged the building of a scientific research center in Safira, he said.

A Syrian military official previously said in remarks carried by the state news agency SANA that Israel carried out an aerial attack in the Aleppo province late Monday. He said that Syrian air defenses shot down most of the missiles in the attack that occurred just before midnight.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a war monitor that has activists on the ground in Syria, said the Israeli strikes targeted weapons depots that belong to Iranian-backed militia operating in Aleppo's Safira region. The group said the strikes were followed by loud explosions. The weapons depots were located inside Syrian military posts, the group said.

Israel has launched hundreds of strikes against Iran-linked military targets in Syria over the years but rarely acknowledges or discusses such operations. Israel fears Iranian entrenchment on its northern frontier, and it has repeatedly struck Iran-linked facilities and weapons convoys destined for Hezbollah.

Russia has waged a military campaign in Syria since 2015, helping President Bashar Assad's government reclaim control over most of the country after a devastating civil war. Moscow also has helped modernize Syria's military arsenals and train its personnel.

The second edition of the webometrics which tracks the relevance of university academic publications publish online has been released.

The new ranking witnesses little change in the top five ranking. The top 10 is dominated by eight federal universities, with the University of Ibadan leading the whole Nigerian ranking and ranking 18th in all of Africa.

Covenant University remains the second best for the whole of Nigeria and the current 21st best in all of Africa.

There's video evidence and many have screens hots. Twitter would gladly provide the tweet when requested by the ICC.

But most importantly, it delegitimizes buhari and puts him in bad light internationally. The news of Twitter deleting his post would attract more attention to the content of the post.

Is anyone saying you shouldn't have the type of Shariah practiced in those times?

If you want to set up a PRIVATE facility where Muslims can take their grievances with other Muslims then do so.

You are not getting Shariah as a legal substitute to the governing laws of the land which bounds all Muslims and Christians.

If sharia is just for muslims, set up a private court and tell muslims to attend it, no need for federal

Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let them set up their private court which their members can choose to subscribe to. Why back it up with federal or state laws.

Yes o. Political Islam needs to be treated like Nazism. Completely expunged from civilization.

The only thing that has made Nigeria liveable is the Christians in it. Just imagine the whole country was Islamic, it would be competing with Yemen and Afghanistan in the prize for worst country on earth.

I'm glad to have read it was Shariah that led to the division of SouthSudan and Sudan. It's likely what would happen.

ATHEIST IN KANO, NIGERIA FORCIBLY ADMITTED TO PSYCHIATRIC WARD AND JAILED INDEFINITELY OVER BLASPHEMY AND APOSTACY

Bala was arrested on April 28, 2020, and has been held without charge since then. His wife, Ahmina Ahmed, whom they met online in an intimate ceremony, still waits for his return, but all seem to be in vain.

According to his advocates, the atheist is accused of writing a Facebook post criticizing the prophet of Islam, an act that is considered blasphemy and can carry a death sentence in Nigeria’s mostly Muslim society where Sharia laws are enforced along with the common laws.

Some believe he was not detained because of his beliefs but because he was and still is an atheist.

"He was trying to change the dynamics... in the north," said Leo Igwe, a rights advocate and founder of the humanist group. "He was even saying he was going to contest elections."

In 2014, Bala was forcibly admitted by his own family to a psychiatric ward for 18 days because he said he did not believe in God.

His wife, Ahmina Ahmed said she did not know where the husband was detained in the first six months after he was arrested.

Ahmina was already pregnant when her husband was arrested.

She later found out that the husband had been taken to a prison in Kano, more than 200 kilometers away from where she was detained.

Bala’s troubles began in 2014 when he publicly renounced his Islamic faith in 2014, an act that is forbidden, a dishonor to the family, and punishable by death in accordance with Sharia laws.

His legal team has been working tirelessly since May 2020 and they had filed a petition seeking his release with the Federal High Court in Abuja.

His advocacy team said his detention violates his fundamental rights to liberty, a fair trial, freedom of thought and expression and freedom of movement according to the Nigerian constitution.

Bala's supporters are worried about his health in detention but also his security.

Others accused of blasphemy in northern Nigeria have been sentenced to death, and in one case in 2011, a man was beheaded in his cell by unknown individuals.

11 YEAR OLD PAKISTANI CHRISTIAN GIRL WITH DOWN SYNDROME SENTENCED TO DEATH OVER BALSPHEMY CHARGES.

AN 11-year-old Pakistani Christian girl with Down’s Syndrome faces the death sentence for blasphemy.

Rimsha Masih had been burning paper for heat in the slums she calls home.

A mob claiming she had burnt the Koran began to attack her family. As local Christians fled in terror, Rimsha was charged with blasphemy by the police and her age recorded as 16 so she could be incarcerated in an adult prison. Her mother and sister were taken into ‘protective custody’ but are now ‘missing’.

Suicide bombings, rapes, kidnappings and assassinations have been a daily diet for over a decade in Pakistan.

Illiterate mobs blindly follow ‘uneducated clerics’ who twist the words of the Koran to suit their ends. On the same day of Rimsha’s arrest, 25 Shia Muslims were dragged off a bus and executed by extremist gunmen.

Pakistan’s ruling class rob the country with impunity in a revolving charade of ‘democracy’ and ‘dictatorship’ whilst ruthlessly playing the ‘divide and rule’ card. In 1998 a Catholic bishop committed suicide on the steps of the High Court in protest over another Christian facing a death sentence.

In 2009 eight Christians were burnt alive for burning a Koran.

In 2010 the Governor of Punjab and the only Christian Government Minister Shabaz Bhatti were assassinated by extremists for highlighting the plight of a Christian mother of five sentenced to death for blasphemy.

SUDANESE WOMAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR MARRYING NON MUSLIM

A Sudanese doctor who married a Christian man and who was convicted earlier this week on charges of apostasy was sentenced to death on Thursday, judicial officials said.

According to the Sudanese officials, 26-year-old Meriam Ibrahim, whose father was Muslim, was convicted on Sunday and given four days to repent and escape death. She was sentenced after that grace period expired, the officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The sentencing drew condemnation from western embassies in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, and international rights groups, including Amnesty International.

The court in Khartoum also ordered Ibrahim be given 100 lashes for committing zina – an Arabic word for illegitimate sex – for having sexual relations with a non-Muslim man.

The couple married in 2011 and have a child, born 18 months ago. Sudanese law does not recognise Ibrahim's marriage to a non-Muslim.

Ibrahim can appeal against her death sentence as well as the 100 lashes.

As in many Muslim nations, Muslim women in Sudan are prohibited from marrying non-Muslims, though Muslim men can marry outside their faith. By law, children must follow their father's religion.

Sudan introduced Islamic sharia laws in the early 1980s, a move that contributed to the resumption of an insurgency in the mostly animist and Christian south of Sudan. An earlier round of civil war lasted 17 years and ended in 1972. The south seceded in 2011 to become the world's newest nation, South Sudan.

Sudan's current ruler, Omar al-Bashir, is an Islamist who seized power in a 1989 coup.

PAKISTANI CHRISTIAN ASIA BIBI SENTENCED TO DEATH UNDER BLASPHEMY CHARGES

Asia worked as a farm labourer. It was June and the women were to spend the day picking berries. After working for hours under the scorching sun, the thirsty, exhausted women stopped for a break. Asia was asked to fetch some water from the nearby well.

She set off, jug in hand. But on her way back she took a sip of the water before handing it over to her Muslim co-workers. They were furious.

Asia is a Christian. In Pakistan, many conservative Muslims don’t like to eat or drink with people of other faiths. They believe that non-Muslims are impure.

Asia’s co-workers told her that she was “dirty” and not worthy of drinking from the same cup as them. An argument erupted and fierce words were exchanged on both sides.

The water pump from which Asia collected water
The water pump from which Asia collected water

Five days later, the police barged their way into Asia’s house and accused her of insulting the Prophet Muhammad. Outside was a mob, including the village cleric who had accused her of blasphemy. Asia was dragged outside.

The mob brazenly began to beat her, right in front of the police. She was arrested and charged with blasphemy.

During the trial Asia maintained her innocence, but in 2010 she was sentenced to death. She has spent the past nine years of her life in solitary confinement.

In Pakistan, the punishment for blasphemy against Islam and its prophet is either life imprisonment, or death. But all too often the allegation is misused as a way to settle personal scores. Once someone has been accused of blasphemy, before their case has even gone to trial, they and their families come under attack.

As a Christian indigenous to South western Nigeria, I found the call for a Shariah legal system in the South west quite an interesting proposition to say the least. But as I pride myself on objectivity, I would like to entertain some of the argument and reason them out.

The good thing about the shariah legal system is that it is not merely a theory, but a system rooted in several of years of history.

Ist Argument: "Shariah law does not concern non Muslims, and as such non Muslims should not have a say in the question of her establishment."

On the surface, this seems like a legitimate argument. If true that the shariah concerns only Muslims then we Christians may potentially allow this matter slide and allow Muslims their own legal code.

So the matter requiring verification would be to find out if truly non Muslims have ever been penalized using the shariah legal system.

TWO INDONESIAN CHRISTIANS FLOGGED FOR DRINKING ALCOHOL

The caning comes less than two weeks after a male couple were flogged nearly 80 times each for having gay sex, which is outlawed under local Islamic law.

On Monday, the two accused received 40 lashes each from a masked sharia officer who beat their backs with a stick.

Only three nations deals with Islam appropriately.

1) China (Xinjiang)
2) Myanmar (Rohingya)
3) Isreal (All Arabs)

The people living in Asia already know how deadly Islam is when allowed to flourish. I thank God Africans are getting sense.
