Any body in the house with similar experience? I just tracked my passport and it says there is not record for the passport number you provided. Last week it was showing your passport is will the US embassy.
At the same time I checked my Visa status and is showing AP its about 3 weeks now I went for my interview and was approved. Please I was to know if such has happened before and how i

I have checked the ceac website and the my status is AP i have tracked my passport and it says my passport is still with the US embassy. it's 2 weeks now that i had my interview. my appointment was on the 20th of June and yet I have not received my passport ( have checked with the DHL abuja which is where i filled to collect my passport but they told me that passport has not been released yet.). That is why i wanted to know if there are other cases like this. person or persons who have had such a long time delays and later their passport was released with Visa. please if there is any, i will be glad to hear the persons story so that i will know what to do.

Check the CEAC website see the status of your Visa. Also check where you booked your appointment to see if the embassy still has your Visa

Please I want to know if there is any person or persons that has been approved and given the white paper by VO and was NOT able to pick up his passport after 5 working day due to delay by the embassy.
What month was your appointment and How long did it take the Embassy to return your passport back to you.
the reason why I am asking is that I was approved and told to come back after 5 working days for my passport but its 2 weeks now and I have not yet received my passport. I want to know if someone has experience this long wait and at the end got his passport with VISA. Please how long did it take?

8 business day??. Well av been on AP since June 3. That's about 23 working days now... I guess we should just be hopeful and positive, they would have denied you since if you had a fraudulent or unacceptable bank statemnt, my guess is that they're doing some other background check, start checking for flights like I have started... Congrats in advance to my fellow AP status students(excluding the ones that submitted fake statement o)

They keep track of all the information you have filled from the very first interview,that's why agents are bad, they are the ones who has made lots of people loose their credibility and cash in visa processing.

My advice is that, you should visit the very first application, "if the foundation is weak, what can the righteous do"?... If you must reapply, tell the VO about the misrepresentation in your first application stating you used an agent.

Also, don't keep changing informations, it brings suspicion

Your uncle, how did he get to the US? If he went with a B1/B2 and updated his status, it will count against you, be sure about that part too. If you don't arrest these issues, good travel experience will not save you..
Finally, just put it that you want to clear the issues with the VO, even if you don't get it, future one may favor you, and you may even get it, if you PRAY and believe

Do I write in the da160 that I used agent , then go to the interview to confess or should I still write what I wrote before... then go to the VO and confess? For the record coming out straight do I have to confess on the ds160 form? the uncle I stated in the form is not my uncle it was packaged to me by the agent .. when I googled the man I could not even find his address.. or any record of the address which the agent wrote in the da160.. therefore I feel the uncle info is lies... so in this case should I say that I don't know any body and go to confess or what? Nothing else has changed in my status since the last application..

When you apply again, do it yourself, and fill the truth about your situation: you misrepresented in your first application. (Study this thread for more on that.) You need to come clean. Get interviewed, set your records straight. Then maybe next application or a future one , they might consider.
Meanwhile, you can have your vacation in Europe too.

I have been denied US visa 3 times and it pains me when ever I realize how much they are making through Nigerians because most of us lack the necessary package that can facilitate a positive outcome during US interview.
I therefore seek for profeional advice from this house to make sure I don't keep repeating my mistakes nor get denied again. PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP.

I first applied for B1/B2 in 2015 and was denied. I went through the help of an agent and I guess that was where my problem started. The agent packaged me to me married with 1 kid and work with a salary of N500,000.. I was given an invitation letter and also filled in the DS160 that I know some one in the USA. ( all my interview location is at ABUJA)

it was just a vacation trip and i stated in the form to spend 2 weeks in the states. I described my duties very well in the DS 160 form and when the VO asked me about my job I answered like a professional and explained my duties and daily actives for her.
she asked me the state where I was suppose to visit I told her TEXAS and gave my reasons that I was going to visit my uncle who's wife just gave birth so I could spend my vacation with them over there for 2 weeks. ( I was denied the visa)

The 2nd time I used almost the same info but the deference was that I was promoted to the rank of a manager in my work place. I was denied again. mean while I have a legitimate travel record to South Africa and Dubai.

The 3rd time I applied booking a hotel resavation in Hilton texas hotel and yet was denied. all the interview I have attended, they never asked me too many question. the questions are just..
WHERE ARE YOU VISITING IN THE STATES? WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING? DO YOU KNOW SOME OTHER PEOPLE IN THE STATES.? I answered and told the VO where I was visiting and told her I know some people in the states.

I always go with my bank statement but they never asked me for my bank statement nor tried to verify any of the documents I came with. only questions.. I asked the the VO to explain to me so that I can improve if I should make up my mind to spend my vacation in US again. but she could NOT say any thing rather gives me the rejection blue paper.

Now I wish to apply for the 4th time. what should I do? should I say I dont know any body when I have written in the past that I know some one in the states. do I say I have made a travel plan with tourist company? so not sure where I am getting it wrong.

I am not sure if the keep track records of formal applications. I have tried to seek good advice and to know how I can be successful this time. I wish not to waste my 64,000 Naira again. the Last time I applied was November 2016 which is almost a year now.
Please help me if need be for a private message advice me and I will inbox you. I am so confused and need some good advise.

How do you mean by ' transcript of the four interview ' ? Please explain to me because I am not really used to the terms used here as am new to Nairaland..
