johnson232: For those of us that have been here, it is only natural to omit certain info when posting on here. We have seen it several times. It is now left for the individual concerned to ask questions. No one is paying anybody here for the info they dish out, so those who take out their time to post sth should be appreciated, because left for some of u, no one will get any info here without paying for it. Just completed fencing a plot of land with a similar quote posted by someone recently. So info as such are very much useful to us.... Thank u sir for hitting the nail on the head at bold. I don't just get this. Someone posted a question, none of u so called engineers attended to the query, someone else took his time to attend to it, u all are coming out like a hungry lion, posting lame observations? If u were so concerned, why didn't u attend to the query? Why not ask the necessary questions & attend to the query instead of sounding like a paragon which none of u are? More answers to a query will provide options for the poster. If u can't come up with sth better, don't come here to parade yourself as a paragon. |

But Kanu is encouraging fight against anybody or tribe having a contrary opinion to his view & it isn't the right way to go about this. |

modsfucker: The violent agitation by IPOB is unwarranted in the first place. They can pursue their Biafran dream peacefully without insulting all and sundry. I have not seen a day passed without IPOB raining curses on Hausa Fulani. Besides, the person that killed millions of their kinsmen, Yakubu Gowon is neither Hausa nor Fulani. I don't know what the Hausas did to Igbos to warrant this hatred. God bless u @ the bold A peaceful approach is the only way they can attract international support Because they can't achieve biafra without international support |

This Biafra struggle will take a long time, if ever it would come to fruition. @bold It was preceding the civil war, during negotiations with FG represented by Enahoro. |

If govt should happily allow biafra, oduduwa & northern region decide to form their country, u think there would have been any Nigeria by now? A region should have cogent reasons for wanting secession, u don't just wake up one morning to say u want a country. If not, every family would have been a country by now. Even in marriage, there must be a concrete reason & evidence before u can file for divorce...What was Ojukwu reasons for wanting biafra Nothing but greed & absolute control of power. If after granting biafra, two months later Imo & Enugu starts agitating for their own country how would biafra feel? If every region is allowed to form a country, u think we will have countries like the US & Canada? Honestly i sorry for u folks, even with Ojukwu adequate preparation & boldness, by training & arming his soldiers before declaring biafra, he couldn't contain the heat...Let alone a fearful soul like Kanu. No leader puts his people on the line to defend himself. Why is he afraid of arrest? He should read how many times Enahoro was arrested during Nigeria independence. At least we wanted freedom from whites, hence the reason for independence...Which freedom do u people want from a fellow black man? You people just keep fighting blindly for no just cause... |

raymondFirstborn: I think its achievable ,but it depends on the kind of structure you intend to build. The size of the building is a major factor. Before anything you might need to first contact an architect let him do brainstorming on how to fit in the building and allow spacing for parking and lockup shops. My thought as well |

barakah: Hello Expert builders and Architects in the house. I have just acquired a half plot of land (60 by 60 feet) in the outskirts of Lagos.
I however need advise on how to fully utilize/develop this space despite limited space.
1) I plan to erect a structure both for personal habitation and partly for rent.
2) Instead of a fence, I intend to build lockup shops in the front area
3) Parking space is also expected for at least two cars.
How do you suggest this should play out? Can i possibly achieve all stated requirements? Where will my waste water tank be?
Let's learn from all your wealth of experience as I'm already feeling like a total waste of resources. Thought u opened a thread on this before? Because i knew i saw a thread like this There are option of buildings that may fit into your land I think it is best u engage any of the NL architects or those in your area to come up with a sketch & possible architectural plan. Just my opinion. |

To buttress there answers the chemical is called hydrochloric acid, if you are close to ojota ask them there, the gallon is blue but they sell in small quantities , also you can get it at coker Orile. More so it's advisable to do this washing with chemical after 1-2week after you might have fixed the tiles bcs that chemical due weaken cement Thank u sir |

That is why the good girls falls for the the bad guys who will swept them off their feet The bold is the gospel truth Majority of good guys are shy, while the good girls are extremely shy. The good girls are interested in the good guys, same way the good guys are interested in the good girls. But like u rightly pointed out in your post, the greenlight exhibited by the good girls are not visible enough to the good guy. But the bad girl is bold enough to exhibit visible greenlight, so oftentimes the good guy settles for the one with most visible signal. Same also apply to the good girl. But the bad guy requires little or no greenlight. |

Call someone who know how to do it through Thanks Will find someone to do it |
Properties › Re: General Topic Thread-To Discuss Anything And Everything in Building Construction by Barryton: 6:39am On Sep 12, 2017 |
skimanski: There is a Chemical for cleaning tiles. Once you get to any shop where building tools are sold like shovel, head pans, nails, hammers e.t.c , tell them to give you acid. Yes! thesame acid you here about, that's the chemical. So to be kept totally out of the reach of Children and to be used by people who know how to use it. First thing you do when you get it is to test how strong it is. This can be done by droping a little on the floor and you will notice a Yellowish boiling subtance. If it doesn't boil then its fake.
On getting to site, note you have to pour some quantity on a bucket of water with soap inside the water and use mop or brush to apply on the surface you wish to clean. You should leave the surface soaked with the acid diluted water for like 5mins to 10mins to allow it soak up the surface before you apply your strength in brushing the soaked surface. Note! you are dealing with acid, hence the reason why you are diluting with water. But regardless, you must were any form of protective outfit to avoid direct contact with your skin as this may cause inching and damaged skin.
on a very Important Note: Never Ever allow the acid touch any silver surface when cleaning. Be it stainless of alluminum. E.G door handles, Shower mixers/Faucets, Metal Trims e.t.c. If it does, it burns that surface immediately.
Now from a more professional point of view. Your tilers must always hold foam and cloth when laying tiles for you. The moment they lay one face of the wall before going to the other face of the wall, they must use foam with water to clean the tiled surface and then use the cloth in wiping the water off it. if they don't, no money. It must be agreed on from the beginning. This will save you a lot of cleaning headach at the end. Cleaning is a very important process in construction. We have passed through a lot of challenges regarding cleaning in the past. Infact every department must clean up their mess before they collect their cash. POP finish the must clear out they rubbles and soaked POP floors. Masons install they windows they must use foam to clean it up before they close and collect money. wood guys work, they must clear up they saw dust when they close before they collect cash. Its easy that moment, but difficult when left to accumulate. Thank u very much This is very detailed |

Daboomb: Somebody should please come to this man's aid! I have heard said that they use "chemical" to clean Tiles (even cement stains from Wondows) but l have never really inquired about the kind of chemical being refered to.... but l am certain there is one or more in existence.
Sometimes, our Artisans really fall hand. Even the so-called Togo Tilers, l had one who was a real nightmare, sometimes back. He is so arrogant, wont listen to suggestions (even if it will improve his job deliver as he thinks he knows it all), very rough job delivery, very wasteful (he butchers Tiles like it is dashed out for free in the market; any little size he requires, he cuts a new whole, never using off-cuts!)
But the breaking point came when he stole my Carton Tiles and l caught him. That landed him in a week detention with small-small morning and evening 'exercises' while l got another person to tidy-up his shoddy job.
I think people like Spyder, Skimanski, Aventures and other notable builders in the house may have used or caused to be used, such chemical in their 'clean-up finishings', before handover to Client.
Please, make una help pur brother. Thanks alot |
