Phones / Re: MTN Denies Illegal Transfer Of $14bn From Nigeria by BarryX(m): 3:17pm On Sep 28, 2016
I think Dino Melaye was just being unusually petty and loud-mouthed.

He should be slapped with court case of some sort.
MTN shares are currently on a free fall cos of this.

Politics / Re: India To Invest $5bn In Nigeria by BarryX(m): 8:42am On Sep 28, 2016
According to him, the relationship between Nigeria and India is near perfect as both countries ‘‘have nothing to quarrel about’’.
Who said we have nothing to quarrel about

There are snacks of insincerity in this statement. Personally, I have issues with indian investments and their motive but since Bubu government is trying to sell the twisted truth of government being broke and all.

Let them invest, provided they won't have issues with repatriating their profits going forward.
Bubu economic policies can win an Olympic gold medal in the somersault category

Hey guys, it is enough. Let us not turn this thread into an Urhobo vs Igbo thread. This is a thread for Urhobos and their language revival. Everyone is welcome to post here but let us limit it to Urhobo matters please. cc Igboid, Enuguboy4nsk, etc.

Urhobo guys, please keep mentions of anything Igbo to the barest minimum, as it attracts unwanted attention. cc frathermarthy

I will begin to hide any unrelated posts after this post.

Stick to the topic ma'am. No unnecessary deviations.

Now that the Igbide question has been answered, rather than move on, you decided to start another argument.

What exactly is wrong with you people?
You should ask yourself what exactly was your intent in this thread at the first place?

Read the thread title again and answer yourself !

What heavenly feelings? Get over yourself. Isoko is a backward area for all intents and purposes, you don't in anyway have anything Ndiigbo don't have or in need of.

However,historical facts are historical facts.
Igbide is Isoko today, but the people migrated from Igboland. Stating that does not in any way mean that Ndiigbo are interested in incorporating a non Igbo speaking Igbide or entire Isoko people into Igboland or future Igbo nation.

Why exactly are you people this paranoid?

And your Igbo is a forward area in all intents and purposes?

Using the way the Northerners view the southerners as the premise to base your judgement says much about your literate level

I'm an Igbo, and I have nothing to do with Isoko too. grin
Lol, are you feeling important or what? Newsflash! You are not.

However, there are some Igbo speaking people with ancestral relationship with some Isoko towns. Yours might not be one of those parts of Isoko.

Igbide for example is strongly linked with Mgbidi/ Awka. cool
I think this idea of Igbide having Igbo ancestry gives you serious heavenly feelings going by how many times you mention it in a Niger-delta alignment discourse.

You have always sang it in your mind that it burst out through your fingers. I'm maternally Igbide and trust me, the history that we have never had it the way your ecstacy realism suggest.

If I were you, I will play down that "Igbide ownership" mentality in public discourse or these people will have no other option than to sever ties if any with the Igbos.

It's appaling already

I don't have, never have had, and never will, have an issue with homosexuals.

People should be respected and not discriminated against for their lifestyle choices as long as they aren't harming or infringing upon the rights of anyone else. We all can't be the same.
The same reason respecting the family decision (choices) in this instance holds water. Don't you think? cool

Horrible family.

But if she was doing ashi work dem no go remember to "disown" am. Useless hypocrites.
I will have to disagree with you on this though. A family that can call a disowning press conference is not a poor family and besides what can be more ashi than lesbianism. grin

You've always been a pro-african from your comments here with respect for African core values. Why the sudden twist in this homosexuality case?

And besides, the girl can also collude with the family to release the press statement to fastrack asylum papers. Nothing when Naija no fit do

You had to modify my original comment to drive home your point.
Pathetic much?
I didn't modify your comment.

You went bonkers about "inhabitants going extinct" in some states. That seems to infer your state have "inhabitants booming with prosperity" of some sort.
Unfortunately, you admitted to having some semblance of under development.

If you look at critically, you are not in any way better off unless you want to hold on to the hypocritic mindset of being Nigerian.

My take is simple, Living in Makoko in Lagos does not make you any different from somebody living in a slum in Bayelsa.

Under-development cut across board, some just glorify theirs

My Questions are:
1. How was oil plam transported to lagos when there was no Niger Bridge that time ?
2. How was the niger delta feeding the whole nation when each region accounted for its resources ?
3. Why calling for restructuring now when you know you'll still be feeding the country as you claimed ?
Seriously this thread would have been an educative one but it was ruined by folks filled with hatred and aggression
Simple answers:

1) If you have travelled out of your current enclave before, the first question is self-explanatory unless you want to imply people from the East or colonial masters were not travelling or doing business pre-NigerBridge construction. But that is your choice to believe.

2) The same way the old lie was sold to us about the groundnut pyramids and cocoa building oil installations when regionalism was in place as you rightly observed. It depends on which side of the lie pendulum you reside.

3) This question seem to suggest you don't know what the current clamour for restructuring is all about because that is the whole idea Not feeding the country

Hope some sort of credence is achieved with the answers offered

Miss.... okay?
Even if where I hail from isn't highly developed, you do not see or hear us blame other regions for our under development.
We hold our leaders accountable with curses upon curses.
So in other words, there is a log of wood in your eyes but you want to remove a speck in another's.

And you hold your leaders accountable with curses upon curses Really that's the most advanced way of accountability?

Niger Delta need to learn from you guys
