It actually baffles me how some one could think Oghene without the word 'omo' would still have the same meaning. Let alone omotza, omote et al. Obviously, I've been wasting my time here with these bini dullards!

No one cares if dinosaurs also borrow the word to be part of their language but the origin is what matters. As far as I'm concerned, no tribe uses the word 'Omo' as part of their names the way Yoruba uses theirs.
As a matter of fact, only Yoruba has used the word 'Omo' which dated back as far as millenium years ago. One of my sec. school friend's surname is Omosheibi. Can you imagine someone's great great grandfather to have been bearing the said name? And this is what you bini want to claim?

I doubt any Isoko/Ezon/Urhobo uses the word 'omo' as the prefix of their names or words! And when I say prefix, I mean names where the word 'Omo' could stand alone as the other word. E.g 'Omo' nifemi, 'Omo' wunmi.
The word 'Wunmi' and 'Nifemi' would still make the same meaning words even without the word 'Omo'.

Is omo not a yoruba word? Names like Omosheibi, Omonifemi, Omopariola are all yoruba names betwn. Hence, bini can't claim otherwise that omo is a bini word.

Ancient Bini people saw Yorubas as big brothers to be proud of.

There are Yoruba traces (dressing/language/religion) in core Benin.
But you can't find any trace of Benin in core Yorubaland.

Also, many Binis can relate to Yoruba language.

However, the larger majority of Yorubas dont even know what the Bini dialect sounds like.

I have studied these over a period of time now. And no body should doubt me on this.
They are all Igbo people. Even Buhari told the world that these groups are Igbo people.
The dialects they all speak are the grinded dailects spoken in Enugu, Anambra, Ebonyi--especially.

While just little Igbo dialects spoken in Abia and Imo states are heard when they speak.

Bunch of cooperate retards and misplaced priorities.. Now this is called pushing it to the limit.. I do not begrudge Olajumoke of luck, what I see are just leeches and opportunists everywhere..
And is it not shocking that in a country like ours, a ''model'' gets all attention and endorsements from cooperate sponsors while young men/women who are innovative are being deprived of funds. A few weeks ago on twitter, I came across a picture of a Nigeria student on twitter who invented biodegradable machine and a generator powered by water, just afew of his inventions. Another dude in Yaba tech used waste plastic bottles in an artistic way. No media attention.
A society that doesn't encourage science and research is headed for doom. Twitter and IG celeb offer no substance.. Its time we all wake up form our slumber
