The President's silence on key issues like this tells me he's insensitive and that dalung of a minister is a buffoon.

The President only wanted power to settle old scores. He never understood a word on modern day leadership. He has failed completely and should honorably throw in the towel. He obviously didn't understand the economy. The dynamics of today's leadership are too complex for a vindictive 76 year-old man (probably official age) to decipher. Look at unemployment, inflation, gross decline in naira value etc. These should have been the global objectives of a serious leader and not some stupid inconsequential issues that got Mr. President's attention. Now we have hit recession and the cluelessness of the leadership may lead us to depression. We pray that God in His infinite mercy takes us out of these self-inflicted crises.

hmmmmmmmm, i dont know if your observation is an innocent one or just trolling. if trolling, fine, have fun, if you dont know and wish to, then the it is not wrong, the prosecuting party can oppose bail application, the reason why he chooses not to is to ensure there is no delay, the opposing of the application might means coming back another day to give a ruling on it after hearing arguments today from both counsels.

You are missing the point. GEJ obviously had issues with leadership but he was smart enough to see how delicate the Nigerian economy was (perhaps due to his education) and he allowed experts to run the economy. But PMB took over a fairly stable economy and destroyed it in few months due to his ignorance, insensitivity, shallow knowledge and mostly his refusal to make use of the best brains to help him out. Now what do you call that?
