Glimpsetv: summary: A young man from Nkalagu, Ebonyi State, has gone viral after pleading with activist VeryDarkMan to help provide a borehole for his community. He revealed that residents still drink from a dirty river due to the lack of clean water. Despite having a senator from the same village and a signboard indicating a past government water project, the project never worked—suggesting corruption and mismanagement. Frustrated with years of government neglect, he believes only VeryDarkMan can truly help them now.
Some reactions on X:
I sincerely hate to say this but this is just one of the reasons Igbos from other SE states have little or no regard and in some cases disdain Ebonyi people because Igbos communities don't rely on government for basic developmental needs in their communities. Other communities would have rallied together to provide water in a case like this in some cases one or few individuals would have done it. Sadly for him VDM has a lot of projects to do so his community just have to queue.
Glimpsetv: A group of Nigerian soldiers has taken to social media to express deep frustration over the shocking food rations provided for nine troops deployed on a one-month mission.
In the now-viral video, one of the soldiers displayed the meager food items allotted to them, revealing that they were given only five fish to last nine men for an entire month.
He further revealed that the rations include just one paint bucket each of beans and garri, four pieces of yam, one litre of palm oil, 10kg of semovita, a medium-sized bag of rice, a few onions, and other limited items — all meant to sustain the entire team for 30 days.
Shockingly, the soldier also disclosed that ₦60,000 was collected from each of them, supposedly for feeding — yet this was the food supply they were given. This revelation has intensified public anger, with many questioning how funds meant for soldiers’ welfare are truly being spent.
The video has since gone viral, sparking outrage and concern among Nigerians online.

It seems that the sure way for anybody to get attention these days is to mention PO's name. As to why he has resigned from LP it's simple Anambra state gubernatorial election is coming soon as such he ought to remain in the party until at least after the election.
autoez: In memory of our former President Buhari, we extend our heartfelt condolences. Your contributions to the nation will always be remembered. Thank you for your service, and may you rest in peace.
Amen to your prayers for him oooh I also join you and millions of other well meaning Nigerians to pray that God forgive his sins and grant him eternal rest but can't cease pondering on the fact that Buhari is no 2 feets under the ground but the dot in a circle race he hated so much are still thriving even beyond their confined dotted area in the circle.
I have been wondering since today due to the high security concentration in Katsina state and Daura in particular middle or high ranking military officials could easily over throw this government right now without any resistance.
marlow1962: To be sincere, 1m can only start you a POS business. No lucrative business in present Nigeria can be up and running with 1m naira. My advice, use that 1m and eat/take care of yourself, while you work on adding additional 1m to it by continuing doing that thing you did that gave you that former 1m. And btw, do not partner with anybody here for business.
You think POS business is not lucrative? Most POS who are in a good place make 30k plus daily while those in not so busy areas make 15k plus daily so do the calculations and know how much they make in a month.
tinsel: OP, Obi never did local government election in Anambra for 8 years. He only did one about 3 months to handing over to Obiano.
Are you not contradicting yourself? You said he didn't conduct LG elections in 8 years yet you went ahead to say he conducted elections like 3 months to handover forgetting that he was impeached and spent like one year fighting legal battle to reclaim his mandate. PO only functioned in his 2nd term his first term was very problematic
magoo10: Hundeyin should calm down if not for how useless the government is we shouldn't be talking about 2027 almost 2years before the next elections. It is not normal for Peter Obi to start declaring interest on how he wants to run now.he is more concerned on providing ideas for changes .
Oga! Hundeyin is absolutely correct if he doesn't make his stand known now and he loses out in the two critical positions of the coalition and run separating in another party the result will be same as 2023. PO appears to me as indecisive person Kenneth Okonkwo accused him of same some time ago
shibyc: Guys, today I believe women are truly different creatures.
I opened a small business for my babe – just something modest. She's now pulling in about 100k monthly, but ever since the money started flowing, her attitude has changed completely.
Imagine, I sell her products sometimes and give old customers a small discount—like ₦100—and she starts fighting me. Argument upon argument.
Then if I borrow small money from her during emergencies (just like ₦2k or ₦5k), wahala go burst. Even when she knows I have money and I'm definitely paying back, the way she reacts eh, like I’m begging her.
She forgets one thing: The capital is mine. 90% of the customers are mine and everything she’s using today, I handed it to her on a platter.
Now I’m realizing that, if this business grows bigger, she might not even want me anymore. She could decide to go solo and live her own life.
So now I’m asking you all:
Is the best solution to avoid empowering a woman financially ?
I was doing it with the mindset of being educated and forward-thinking, but now I dey reason am twice.
What do you all think?
Empowering her isn't the problem the problem is the person you don't really know the true nature of a person until he or she gets sufficient money or attains a certain position. Always ensure that you are improving yourself while you are improving your woman under no circumstance should you be stagnant while advancing your woman instead the reverse should be the case.
madridguy: Yemen encountered it, heaven did not fall. Just last night, Iran encountered it and nothing happen.
Their mission was accomplished (destroying nuclear site). They didn't set out to bomb just anywhere they had a target in mind and they achieved it. QED.
binary123: With 500.000 I don't care the nature of the business, provided I can make 20.000 daily profit from it, with my capital still intact.any such business ideas please share.
All ideas are welcome.
If you have good location and good fortune POS is surely giving you 20k plus daily on a worse day 15k plus. But you need to have cash at all times.
Ta!!! Who wan claim efulefu forget say he get money but no true igbo child will behave like him. His father's house is in ruins in Edo worse still the man was buried in lagos. Let him be claiming lagosian at the appointment time the true lagosians will let him know that he is just a settler.
shortgun: Can this be considered cheating?or is her husband just being insecure and acting immature?
Ewatomi Oritoke Omowumi
This your husband is the most foolish man on earth to have allowed you spend a minute longer in his house after finding out that you visited your ex and even spent the night with him. Hey!! Some people can really take rubbish in this life sha. Your audacity tells a lot of your simp of a husband. Nonsense.
Cleanthes: thats very bad of him. somebody tell him that he is marrying a human not an angel. just because of one single lie he canceled the marriage, Nigerian men are selfish wallahi
If someone you love and have decided to spend the rest of your adult life with can tell you a single lie she will will surely tell you a million lies. You don't know how hurtful it is not to trust the words of a love one.
MostImportant: Looking at the country that we are, with millions without job, can you take up the job of a domestic staff for a high profiled politician like a governor, senator etc in the country?
Remember you are a graduate. Might even be a masters holder or Ph.D.
For me, I would gladly take it because I can achieve a lot in less than 5 years than someone who put in 35years in state or local government civil service.
I know a domestic staff to a former governor who has built 3 houses already. Someone in civil service after 20 years hasn't bought a land yet.
All the SA and SSA you have been hearing about what do you think they are? Ofcourse glorified domestic staff.
This report did not include their offence or being related to a criminal makes one a criminal too? For the ignorant ones who might be quick to comment just pray that non of your relatives turns bad for know to know the shame and disdain it brings is enough to make one relocate faraway and change identity.
Glimpsetv: A proud father surprised his brilliant daughter with a brand-new car to celebrate her success in passing the bar exam.
Before presenting the car, the father recalled how his daughter had once promised him that she would graduate from the university with at least a second-class upper degree, if not a first class. She made a similar promise during her time at law school — and she delivered impressively.
In his speech, the father pledged to support his daughter in pursuing any level of education she desires, in any country of her choice.
He added, “But for now, as a lawyer, I don’t want you taking buses or taxis. So, I’m rewarding you with a new car.”
Overwhelmed with emotion, the daughter couldn’t hold back her tears. She hugged her father tightly, expressing her deep love and appreciation.

GistMedia0: A few days ago, I came across a wedding that left many people talking. What stood out wasn’t the decoration or the venue — it was the groom. He had his face covered throughout both the traditional and white wedding ceremonies. No one knew why.
But now, the reason is out.
The man had gone through serious challenges that left visible marks. Still, this incredible woman chose to stand by him and marry him regardless. No drama, no hesitation — just pure love and commitment.
The the whose face is shown is certainly not the same person who covered his face. The bride who is with the man that covers face is certainly not happy for what ever reason from her facial expression. The man whose face is shown most be a wealthy man or at least provides so sort of security for the lady to be with him. True love only comes from good and responsible parents to their children. Every other person has a motive, condition or reason though many a time they might not know or realise it.

@Tim_krux: “Your skills in mass communication would come in handy in advertising bread.”

Wrong mindset and she will definitely have wrong attitude towards the job thereby blinding her to any opportunity that may exist there. In life you can't tell for sure what will happen tomorrow.
Hopss: Read about a case some few years back, a man bought coca-cola in quantities and shipped abroad, thinking of the profit he's going to make, when the consignment got to the designated country, it was shipped back to Nigeria , declaring it unfit for human consumption. so the man sued coca-cola bottling company. The following conversation took place Prosecutor:Why did you produce a substandard product for me to export, there by making me to lose my resources. Defendant:we never knew you wanted to export it, the drinks we produce in Nigeria is made for Nigerian market and not for export. So you see, the coca-cola might look same but not the same quality. Mind you this really happened in Nigeria, it's no fiction .
Exactly what happened to a guy who school abroad his own case was fake dollar from a Nigeria bank ooh but they didn't know he was travelling abroad with it.
