Lolz the way people display their ignorance online makes me laugh!! First anf foremost the supreme court judgement expected today is not an appeal to last saturday's judgement rather it is an appeal against the previous appeal court's judgement challenging the jurisdiction of the tribunal to sit in Abuja!! If wike wins Saturday's judgement would become a nullity,if it rules against him,he simply falls back to the appeal court to appeal against last saturday's judgement.

Secondly APC contested against the April results on the basis that no elections were held in the state,they called witnesses to prove their case so on what basis do you think the supreme court would award outright victory to Dakuku? There would be no legal basis for that dear!!

And what happen if the Supreme court rule in favor of the appeal court? Wike will vacate that seat authomatically or will be drag on the stress for violating court order remember? Tell him.. Beside i think that guy is a lawyer, Not sure he has ever handle any case in court of law abi na charge and bail Lawyer?

The tribunal ought to have waited for the supreme court to rule today before passing Judgement.The way it stands Saturday's Judgement would become null and void should the supreme court rule that it has no jurisdiction to try the case in Abuja.

You need to think before you talk, i never hear about rigging or massive thump printing in Plateau State, This a very close margin. If APC want to rig the election the margin will be over 200k. Even if truly APC rigged the election they rig with sense unlike PDP that rig with over 1million votes margin in River State., that too obvious jor. its not possibly to defeat like that in River even in his home town not possible.

To be frank and sincere, Wike is loved by river state people. I live in PH and I can testify to that. This jubilation of his removal is only happening online and we know those behind it (the Yoruba and Hausas). People stay in Osun, Oyo, Kano, Maduguri and Adamawa writing what they don't know in River state making it feel like APC is really on ground here. If this election is conducted free and fair again (which I doubt because of desperation of the acclaimed change agents) Wike will win Dakuku with more margin compel to the last election.

Oh....now you are talking, The desperation of PDP and mama P make them kill hundreds of people and rig massively in april abi? Guy go and sit down make we hear word... Secondly, THE TRIBUNAL STATED IT CLEARLY THAT CARD READER VERIFICATION WASN'T USED HENCE THE CANCELLATION. The lagos tribunal said card readers were an "administrative Technicality". that's why they threw out Agbaje's petition. So unless you calling the judges liars, They can't have another reason behind their minds and state another in court. That's pure contempt of court and could get jail terms for that. Well, that's were the In-law stuff comes in.

Am not saying Wike killed them but the bases alone make the matter worse cos alot of people are during the election and there are lots witness about the ballots box snatching and massive thumb printing even the police testify to this but they cannot do anything then due to the power that be then.... About the card reader, both parties agrees to this but i dont think that was the basis used in cancelling the election..

Try to learn before commenting, The case of wike is beyond card reader's there's alot of evidence againt PDP and wike, Massive thumb printing, Ballot hijacking, killing etc...

But that would have been a better reason for the cancellation rather than base em on card readers when there's an appeal court ruling alienating Card readers as 'Official' means of verification from the electoral act of 2010. Other tribunals went with that judgment; what was different about Rivers state? Abi rivers state isn't covered by the electoral act or outside the appeal court's jurisdiction? . Plus Jega dismissed those calls for cancellation as baseless and lacking merit...

2010 electoral act is before the introduction of card reader... Also i never believe tribunal nullify that election based on card reader. Remember there are lots of evidence of killing, Ballot box snatching, massive thumb printing etc.... Also remember the police and Army have testify against the election too before another police forward to say otherwise and he was arrested cos of that.. So the nullification of the election is beyond card reader... He who want to come to equity most come with clean hand, Wike election and rigging is too obvious and glaring for foreign observer to have call for cancellation immediately or else they will not believe in Nigeria democracy anymore. I read about someone who say foreign observer cannot dectate for them, I laugh at that person and i think i should ask him what is GEJ doing in Tanzania?

Election cases does not get to Supreme court anymore, I guess the best advice is for him to prepare for re run instead of wasting his money... In Lagos: Card readers weren't contained in the electoral act as a means of verification.

In PH: Card readers were the sole means of verification.

Lest I forget, INEC gave express permission to the use of manual verification. They said this in a series of tweets about verification and card reader failure.

First they move the tribunal to Abuja, next they intimidate the tribunal with EFCC and use monetary inducements if the judges are without blemish.

How come the Lagos tribunal sat in Lagos but in PDP states the tribunals are moved to Abuja?

Do you bother to ask yourself why it is only river election tribunal that was taken to Abuja? How about Delta, Akwa ibom etc?

Reason: Its only the River's election that resulted in bloody and killing of innocent and they know what might happen in which every way the judgement goes and to prevent loosing more lives, they move it to a more safer place.

Governors in the Peoples Democratic Party are angry over the verdict of the River State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abuja, which, on Saturday, sacked Mr. Nyesom Wike as governor of the state.

Their anger is further amplified as Wike’s sacking came few days after a similar tribunal ordered a rerun of governorship election in 18 local government areas of Akwa Ibom State, where the electoral victory of Mr. Udom Emmanuel, a member of the party, is also in a contest.

The Rivers tribunal on Saturday asked Wike to vacate his office and directed the Independent National Electoral Commission to organise a fresh election in the state within 90 days.

It was learnt that as a result of the new developments, the governors are to meet and discuss the implications of such judgments to the survival of the former ruling party.

The two affected states are oil-rich and are considered to be critical to the funding of the party ahead of its plan to re-strategise for the 2019 elections.

It was gathered that the PDP governors’ ‘emergency meeting’ is tentatively scheduled to hold on Friday.

Speaking to SUNDAY PUNCH on condition of anonymity, a PDP governor said, “These judgments are targeted at killing the PDP and we have to do something about it.
