He is not the first to have won despite scandals. In fact, it’s one of the reasons he won and he knows that the most important thing for him was to have enough publicity , good or bad.

But it speaks volumes of his voter’s character, morals and ethics to give him their vote despite his lack of integrity and basic decency .

I watched a ceo start a company, build it up and destroy it all because he was too greedy. The company could not survive. It was sad. Like Trump the guy was also charismatic and could wind investors. But in the end it wasn't enough.

These are some of the research that has been interrupted. And once interrupted these scientists may lose a lot of their research and in some cases have to start over.

And these researches aren't super well paid. Mostly scientists who love what they do.
