In 1960 JFK was already the winner against Nixon.. Nixon challenged Hawaii votes claiming he won thethere. A court ordered recount was underway on the day of Vote certification by joint Congress and Senate . Hawaii sent two sets of electors Incase it turned out that certified electoral votes belonged to Nixon. No crime there at all

iIn 2020 ,5 states had objections as to the vote. Trump under legal advice did the same as 1960. He organized a slate of alternate electors in 5 states despite judges having refused to hear any of his 63 petition. Georgia was the exemption. A judge had conveniently set hearing on January 8. The judge immediately threw out the case because it was now moot.

On Jan 6 ,objections were to be raised and discussed for 2 hours each . Each house wa to then vote on the merits of the objection. In all petitions judges had blocked any hearing ,discovery or presentation to the public of the electoral malfeasances. On Jan 6 , the objections and evidence would have been debated on Live TV session. Five states each 2 hours. 10 hours of live broadcast enumeration of what the media refused to cover instead discrediting every claim.
Pence as President temporore was the presiding head of Joint proceedings. He had the power to decide that the issues raised were worthy and send the electors of the five swing states back to properly determine the real winner in those battleground states. This was to be a maximum of days.

The only way these objections would not be heard ,debated and voted upon would be if the Joint session reverted to an emergency session . In an emergency session Pence had no powers to allow for objections.

The first objection had been raised by 1.10 pm . Suddenly an aide walked and whispered to Pelosi about the discovery of a pipe bomb. Pelosi immediately adjourned the proceedings .

Regain which senses? Their insincerity and dubious spirit can never let them regain their senses. He said “whomever shouted that is insane but it wasn’t the narrative” as if it was just one person who said it.

It was literally a chant. A multitude of them screaming for the vice president to get hanged. And he’s casually brushing it off as if it was something said by one person as opposed to a shared sentiment.
