Polls by design tend to favour one side. Some will over represent democrats , others will over represent republican. Media outlets will use polls to show support of their favorite candidate, they repeat it all over inclusive of social media to create a hype. This makes it easier to steal or pump up the votes because the polls were within margins of error.

Let me add. If there is a poll that's very accurate, it's the Europe exit polls after elections. There is a belief I think Europeans have honesty in whom they voted. Long before vote counting exit polls usually confirm the winner to a very high degree of accuracy. American society is split up, I tend to think many of them lie in the exit polls unlike in Europe.
